Hopeless

Hopeless! Sent wrong item, I returned it day after receipt and they took a month to process return their end. In the meantime the billing company kept sending me reminders and late fees - and they kept referring to each other nobody fixing anything. RIDICULOUS

Scam - took the money and items didn’t arrive

Ordered 2 lamps (£300) - invoice confirmed “in stock”. I paid extra for 3-6 day delivery. It was for a special birthday.
Nothing arrived so I called them: customer service said the item was not available and delayed production (cheap Chinese items I assume) meant it would take months to arrive.
No info was provided about the delay - if I hadn’t called this would have gone on forever.
No surprise they have such low review score.

Nordic Nest continues to fail by…

Nordic Nest continues to fail by promising items are in stock that aren’t. It’s not until much later (or until you ask) that you find out the item is actually not available. It’s happened so many times now I’ll never shop with them again.

Appalling service

Appalling service, do not use this company. It took over 3 months for my new chairs to arrive...months of chasing and chasing. When they finally arrived they were the wrong chairs!! Now I am trying to return them and Nordic Nest Customer Service team are ignoring my emails.

Very impressive customer service

I was very impressed with the customer service from Nordic Nest again today. They do not reply instantly, which can be a little frustrating - and their deliveries to the UK take a few days, as they are in Sweden - but they are extremely helpful and polite, and they have just been very generous in offering a partial refund for cosmetically imperfect goods. This makes me want to do business with them again. They have also worked out how to export valuable goods to the UK without charging the customer expensive import duties!

Save time and money by avoiding this company

Made purchase on 7/1/25. Order finally shipped 8/11/25. Packages were held up due to missing clearance info at US customs for a month due to the company not responding to emails by me or UPS to have the TSCA forms filled out and submitted. When customs finally cleared the packages, there were absurdly high fees for customs/duties and separately from the UPS brokerage team due to storage of items during delay. The total fees exceeded the cost of my purchase. The company failed to respond even after multiple emails and phone calls to help me with this. In the end, I wasted so much of my life on this absurdity and horrible shopping experience to then be forced to refuse delivery for a return to sender.

I found some fabric I loved on…

I found some fabric I loved on Nordicnest (which I hadn’t seen anywhere before) but was put off by the reviews. After a week of mildly obsessing over the fabric, I decided to just order it and see. My order came really quick, think it was just 7 days, I thought that was amazing since it was shipped from Sweden. Got a 5% off on my 1st order, made a difference since it was a big order. Fantastic shop, I will definitely shop there again as their items are beautiful.

This company should not be doing business in the UK

Ordered from them a couple of times - the first time I paid for express shipping and it arrived 5 days late.

The second time I had to return one of the items I had ordered and the company refused to provide a prepaid label using Brexit as the reason and hiding behind their T&Cs ...

I found the customer service excellent

I found the customer service excellent! I bought a Brabantia bin and unfortunately it got damaged in transit. I contacted customer service about it and asked if I could keep the item and get a partial refund (as it was too big to ship back). They were very helpful and offered a partial refund and I got to keep the bin too! Very happy with the service and would shop again!

No Parcel, No Refund – and the Driver Gets Blamed?

I ordered a set of trays from Nordic and paid extra for DPD Next Day Express delivery. While the tracking showed the parcel as delivered, I never received it. I checked with neighbours and around the property, but it had simply vanished.

What’s most disappointing is how the situation was handled by Nordic. Despite reporting the issue promptly and stating clearly, “Just to clarify, I’m not suggesting any fault on the part of the driver — he has delivered to me before with no issues,” I later learned from the driver that he may be held personally responsible for the missing parcel and penalised by the company. This is deeply concerning.

The driver, who has always been reliable, was honest and transparent with me — even reaching out to explain his side. While I never received the £70+ item I paid for, I also don’t believe it’s fair for the financial burden to fall on someone just doing their job.

Overall, the experience has left me disappointed — not just because of the missing order, but because of the lack of accountability and fairness in how the issue was resolved. I hope Nordic reconsiders how it handles these situations in the future.

I had this bad experience with Nordic…

I had this bad experience with Nordic nest.
I really thought it was a reliable company because I bought some things before and everything went ok.
This time I ordered a lamp and wanted to return it, that’s where it all started, I called them several times to ask about the process because it was really explained unclearly on the website and didn’t get any chance to talk to them by phone.
Than I wrote several mails and they didn’t come back to me either.
Finally I spoke to someone who explained me how it works and he told me to bring the package to the post office. Where they told me they couldn’t take it because it was a DHL office I needed to go.
I sent the package about 2 weeks ago and didn’t get any news or money back till now.
I really recommend based on my negative experience that if you are not 100% sure of an item you want to purchase don’t buy it at Nordic nest, it costed me a lot of headaches and still didn’t got any news.

Fab product range AND fab customer service

I have been shopping with this amazing company since back in the day when they were called the Scandinavian Design Centre, so I'm talking years and years now.
I honestly have never had anything but a fantastic shopping experience with them. I've spent an absolute fortune at Nordic Nest, and I will continue to do so, because they are the only ones selling all these amazing interior design objects.
Their product range is amazing, and even more so now that sadly, the brilliant Connox stopped delivering to us Brits.
Nordic Nest pay all the UK customs charges, so no nasty post-Brexit surprises when you get your parcel. They deliver mostly for free if you spend over a certain amount. If something arrives broken, or is missing, in my experience they will replace it immediately. Every time I phoned or e-mailed their Customer Service, they were helpful, quick, efficient and perfectly nice to deal with.
Yes you have to pay postage to return something to them if you just don't like it, but that's international Internet shopping for you.
Last but not least, I don't know how they do it, but the very few designer products that I like, which can also be found here in the UK, are always cheaper to buy from Nordic Nest!
Hands down, they are my absolute favourite online shop when I want something nice my house, or upmarket gifts for friends & family.

I ordered the Mangal copper water jug. The jug was fine but the wooden lid was rough, coarse, with knots and black inclusions in the wood which really spoiled the look and enjoyment of the piece. I asked for a replacement jug. But was told I have to fill out a customs declaration with Order Number (please use this as a reference number): NN0006492945

Then I got an email from Lee saying that he cannot do that and I have to return the whole thing like I was told. What a horrible drawn out experience. I can't cope with this level of hard work. Nice looking products, terrible returns procedures and staff advising me wrongly.......There will be no NEXT purchase and I paid for an expensive jug with a substandard lid.

Abysmal service

I ordered a ceiling Danish brand lamp from them last February which didn't work out of the box. I found out later that it was due to a faulty made in China driver/transformer. I wrote to Nordic nest about the issue and to date I have not received an answer from them even though I consider myself a good client having placed so many orders from them in the past. All is well until something goes wrong and it is when you discover you are on your own. Never again!

Trying to contact them no luck

Trying to contact them for over a week. Registered for their news letter to receive 5%discount on my first order. The code has not arrived. Tried to ring customer services but no reply. Keep getting apologetic automated emails stating g they are very busy. I was going to place an order of several hundred of pounds! After reading some recent negative reviews I'll not bother using g this company. Shame as they have some super stock

Avoid avoid avoid. Such a shame about the customer service. The order was very delayed and initially I was happy to wait; HOWEVER, when I asked to substitute the items that were out of stock for something else, they entirely IGNORED MY REQUEST and sent the items that were in stock and still then I was waiting for other plates. Don't bother, buy Portuguese ceramics instead.
