Nordic Poetry Reviews 

The owner of Nordic Poetry, Ameli, was extremely rude to me and my friends. She acted as if we could not afford anything in the store, made us feel unwelcome, and treated us with disrespect throughout our visit. Her attitude came across as judgmental and dismissive, and at times it felt like she was mocking us. We were very disappointed by the way we were treated and did not feel valued as customers.

Nordic Poetry feels more like stepping into someone’s carefully curated dream wardrobe than a regular store. Every piece has a story and Ameli ,the owner, helped me find one of my dream Gucci bag🤩

The space itself is beautifully done too, you kind of want to hang out there all afternoon.

It’s one of those places that remind you fashion can still feel personal, inspiring, and a little bit magical. A must-visit in London for anyone into real vintage, not just “thrift.”

The owner, Ameli, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. She clearly takes great pride in her store and rightfully so, as everything is beautifully curated and of excellent quality. Her professionalism and warm personality made the whole visit a real pleasure. I left feeling excited about my purchase and impressed by how much care she puts into her business. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

The worst experience ever, stay away from this shop the owner is absolutely unprofessional, rude, aggressive and she think her store is the best in the world, she is absolutely delusional.
Ameli’s attitude was shockingly arrogant and dismissive, the kind of superiority complex that makes you wonder how she can be working in retail and treat the clients so poorly.

Nordic Poetry is the worst experience ever!!!!!

I visited Nordic Poetry after it being recommended by a friend and WOW it was none other than a whole experience! We were greeted by the owner and shop assistant who were both super friendly and attentive and have to be credited for their refreshing energy, they truly brought the shop to life and made us feel so welcome!

After browsing for a few minutes, the owner personally recommended some pieces for me to try, it honestly felt like such a personal shopping experience and as a customer I couldn’t ask for more! Both ladies were super knowledgeable offering detailed descriptions and genuine opinions on each item I tried, their passion for the pieces they sell and the industry as a whole was more than evident.

After an hour of totally unmatched retail therapy I left with two gorgeous dresses and a seriously boosted ego! I have genuinely never had such a positive shopping experience, it exceeded any expectations couldn’t recommend this shop more! Thank youuu

The best store I have ever been too. I was looking for a specific vintage runway piece and was only visiting London for a couple weeks. Amelie the owner of the shop was so helpful and found this for me and I had a whole trying on time given. Everyone who worked there was so nice, cool, and knew their stuff. I’ve now made a visit every time I visit London. Best shop! Best store! Best items!

Honestly after years of digging into all London's shops, I have finally found my most favourite vintage designer store. The pieces here are unique and rare and of the best quality. I always find showstopping amazing collectibles for my wardrobe. Amily is the best in suggesting something that's celebrating my personality each time.

This is the best boutique I’ve ever been for vintage clothing. I loved every piece and the owner is the best at what she does. I felt like I got a queens treatment thanks to her! Highly recommend

This shop has the best rare designer pieces. I’m always searching for 90’s dresses, jackets and accessories and Nordic Poetry is the first place I look. Great communication and fast shipping always!

Unbelievable collection, best I’ve probably ever seen and I like to fancy myself a bit of a collector. Besides the iconic pieces Nordic Poetry have acquired, the owner made me feel so welcome, her knowledge on fashion & fashion history is unparalleled and I must say - I was super impressed. Ever inspiring collection of vintage garments. A must visit for anyone in the city. Everyone who works there is so lovely and accommodating as well.

Purveyors of some of the finest vintage pieces from Tom Ford-era Gucci to '90s Galliano, Nordic Poetry is an absolute dream to shop.

This is the best designer vintage store in London . It is very well curated and the staff are super helpful . Today I ended up walking out with a Jean Paul Gaultier dress . Thanks again guys you always make me want to come back for more . See you soon x

I was greeted by two lovely staff members who were incredibly helpful. I purchased two items from the store, both beautifully unique, alongside all the other items they stock. I'm so pleased with them, can't wait to come back and shop again.

Don’t do it! They refuse refunds when it’s your legal right, and the item is bought online and is a legitimate return. Total scam! The owner is aggressive (read google reviews about her too) and the items are overpriced. No authentication, some suggesting dodgy labels being sewn on that don’t look real and don’t match the rest of the item. Sweat stains in armpits and tears - not noted on site. Much better off going to others - even Beyond Retro & Rokit are better quality, and fairly priced. More special pieces can be found at Relik, Found & Vision, Lime Green Bow, SOTT, Bella Ling - do many great resale sites. Try circleofstyle.com. Loads of others online.

EDIT: the response from the owner says it all!! I’ve read other reviews and it’s so obvious every time she gets a negative review she denies everything then gets all her friends/staff to write fake reviews. DONT DO IT!!

EDIT: bank forced her to give a refund after she kept our money AND the dress (£3000!) for 10 weeks! Lawyer taking her to court next. And Trading standards have a few complaints already!!
