Nordiston Reviews

Given one of these warm shawls as a gift - rubbish - doesn't even come with battery and wouldn't risk trying to insert one to charge anyway. Most likely would catch fire!must be returned to China at great expense. Do not touch this company with bargepole- it's a scam and con!!!

Fraudulent advertising. First, the countdowns are completely false, since the items are always on sale. That is bad enough but the actual products are not what is pictured. I ordered an advent calendar that was advertised as a "mini Christmas brick ornament build your own Christmas countdown". What I got was a teeny-tiny, badly moulded ornament that couldn't be built because it was one piece. The insult was that the packaging still said it was build-your-own. I also bought a Highland Cow advent calendar. Poor quality and very small, but at least this can be gifted, unlike the other one. I asked for a refund on the brick calendar, but of course I haven't heard back. I thought that, since Temu and Shein ship decent products over here, they had knocked this sort of scam on the head, but no. Some companies are still happily ripping of consumers.

Beware
There are at least two companies selling the same battery warming poncho. I checked a scam checker, and of course, Trustpilot. They confirm what i suspected on seeing the ads. It comes from China and you will be charged a lot more than the "special" price. I bet if you try to return the item, they will give you an address in a remote part of China, and the postage, which you will pay, will exhaust your Christmas savings.

Price offered is £23 discounted from £46, with an additional 10% off if you buy two. Plus £6.70 delivery.
They charge you £41 for one item. Plus £6.70 delivery.
and you get one item, NOT two as ordered.
