Nord Marketing is a Winnipeg agency that builds and ranks websites for local service businesses. Home services and trades are the core of the work: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, moving, and appliance repair. Most sites in this space fail one of two ways. They load slow and feel awkward on a phone, or they look sharp and never surface when someone searches. A good looking site with no traffic is an expensive brochure. We build the site and run the search side as one job instead of two, because they were never really separate. Month one is the unglamorous part. A full audit of the site and the Google listing, technical faults fixed, speed and structure sorted, and the pages marked up so Google reads the business correctly. After that it settles into the same rhythm every month: a health check, existing pages improved, new pages built for the services and areas the business should be found for and is not yet, the Google Business Profile kept active, and a plain report showing what actually moved. Polishing pages that already exist is not enough on its own. A site only ranks for what it genuinely covers, so the page count grows every month. If a site already ranks, every old page is mapped to the new one, so years of traffic do not disappear on launch day. Ads are optional, not the plan. Search takes months to compound, so Google and Meta ads can carry the phone in the meantime. They run month to month with the ad spend paid direct, so nothing is locked up. If a business does not need them, we say so. We do not promise a top three spot, because nobody honestly can. It is consistent work, and real traction usually shows in three to six months.
