Good afternoon in December i booked the…


Good afternoon in December i booked the van in to have sliding door handle fitted and for a new key. It was booked infor the 7th January. Having waited two and a half hours neither jobs were done. Various reasons given and was told they would contact me to have these done . Last Friday 13th had a call which i missed a called back to told he would call me. Nothing i calle I d Monday arranged for this Friday and I got a call yesterday saying there has been a recall on the vehicle and no like for like replacement was available so i cant work which is no use to me and the Cost of insurance. So the booking was cancelled. Today candice called fo try and sort things out but she did not have the answers. I suggest they come and Collect the van and drop it back the same day but nothing has been booked so now im facing making appointments for alll three items on probably separate days hopefully can be done on Saturday. Why is it so difficult to get things. This is just doing my head in why is it so difficult to get things done. Please enlighten me...

I have spoken directly with Paul, the workshop manager, and he has provided an update regarding the three issues raised. He has confirmed that he will liaise with you directly to confirm the scheduling dates in which these jobs will be carried out.

We genuinely apologise for the delays and the lack of clarity in communication so far. Please rest assured that we are actively managing this and will do everything we can to minimise further inconvenience.

If there is anything additional you feel we can do to assist in the meantime, please let me know.

Awful Service

Awful customer service, i was told by Northgate to drive 180 miles to have a tyre replaced.

Use Enterprise or Switch vehicle hire, Northgate awful.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service. I Spoke with Claire Welcoming and explained exactly what to expect. As I had a 2 hour wait the beverages and biscuits were welcome. Thank you.

Friendy, approachable, helpful staff

I use Northgate for my small business and am almost on my 3rd year of leasing. Local branch is Aberdeen and every time I've went in the staff are absolutely spot on. Friendly, approachable, informative and very helpful. I was very wary of making the jump to hiring a van however Northgate so far, have been a pleasure to deal with. I was in last week to return the van I've been hiring for 2 years and swapping for a newer one. I was quite apprehensive incase they were a company like many, that are unreasonable when it comes to wear and tear etc. I had no reason to be. The team here put me at ease and were very understanding and compassionate despite my unfounded worries. Highly recommend

Great service derby depot

I have a van leased from you and broke down in derby on Saturday. I was recovered by their recovery service at 2.45pm and even though they shut at 12 on a Saturday a lovely man called James from derby depot stayed behind and waited for me. He had everything sorted for me for when I got there and waited for me to unload my van and reload into the replacement one. He also offered to help do this. Thank you James for all your help and service, what a credit to the company.

Glynn and Gary, bolton, reception.

Went into my local northgate branch in Bolton.
Firstly took my van in for it's mot and drove away in a newer van 73 plate, this was instigated by Gary on reception.
I am very happy with the new van.
Also went in yesterday (10/12/24) with a sensor problem connected to the adblue tank.
I didn't have an appointment, was on the doorstep at 8am, Glynn got my van looked at and I was sorted and back on the road in less than an hour, brilliant work from both these 2 fellas 👏.
