We are a family run business, established since 2005 and have an outstanding reputation for quality and reliability. We are a supplier of natural sandstone products, ranging from bespoke masonry to walling stone. We are located just outside of Haltwhistle and have supplied stone to many sites throughout the north east and other parts of the UK. Most of the stone we manufacture comes from within a 50 mile radius.

We had a new-build home constructed in Alnwick. Our Planning Application was approved with the requirement that we add stone cladding to match the neighboring homes. As our neighbors had composite stone/concrete blocks for their cladding we were more inclined to use real stone. We visited Northumbria Stone's website and found a stone we believed would be a good fit. They were kind enough to walk us through the process of acquiring samples, sizing the stones and establishing a good pattern. We chose Blaxter Sandstone. The stone was gorgeous. It sits perfectly as cladding for our new home. It provides for a great upgrade to the look of the home. I might also add that the price was less than half of other sandstones we were looking at. So it was a win-win situation for us - great durable product, at a great price!
