Friendly atmosphere, good choice of materials, knowledgeable staff.

Great course. Learnt a lot and now have three lovely renewed pieces of furniture. Friendly atmosphere and Phil the upholsterer is very knowledgable and makes sure you take home a great item.

Really enjoyed learning how to re-upholster some antique dining chairs. Philip is a really good upholsterer who knows how to fix mistakes if you make them! Both Michelle and Philip are friendly and I would recommend North Wales upholstery school if you fancy having a go!

Able to book a single day to finish a chair not completed on previous course. Made very welcome by existing people, so didn't feel like a spare part. Would recommend a course to anyone wanting to learn some upholstery skills

I really enjoyed the course, it was informative and interesting. The staff were welcoming and friendly as were the other participants. I am very pleased with my chair, recovering it was not as onerous as I anticipated and it has given me the confidence to maybe try another similar course in the future.

There are not many times you can work hard all day, be totally zonked, have a blast, meet new friends, and end up with a beautiful piece of furniture. This is it!

Tuition is great and company of other students also. A nice number of people. Although the initial cost of block of lessons seems dear when you have to add on the materials used it is very satisfying to upholster something from nothing. Furniture can be sourced cheaply on market place or eBay and it is possible to buy cheaper fabric through outlets like Aberkaan but the work is very moorish and I will definitely be booking again in the winter months.

The course has opened so many doors for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed attending on a Wednesday afternoon. All the staff are so friendly and Phil is an amazing teacher.

The course was very useful. In the 6 lessons I was able to reupholster 2 simple chairs to a standard that was way past my expectations. I have learnt how to begin reupholstery and am keen to do another course to improve my skills. Thank you

I can’t recommend these classes enough. I have done two blocks of six weeks and am looking forward to doing more. Michelle is a wonderful organiser and keeps everything running smoothly. Phil is a master at his craft and is always there to patiently help even the most useless (me!). He stayed behind on the last day to help me finish my project and I just cannot believe what, with his help, I have achieved. Lots of friendly banter and an air of industry. Perfect.
