Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had a very poor experience with Nouvar and would not recommend them to Australian customers.

The items I ordered was nothing like what was shown online, very poor quality. I returned the items as instructed by Nouvar so I could get a full refund. Once it arrived back in China, Nouvar failed to complete the required customs declaration forms. Australia Post confirmed this, yet Nouvar still expected me to pay additional costs to resend the items — despite the issue being entirely on their end.

After weeks of back and forth, they refused to take responsibility or provide a straightforward resolution. I was left out of pocket, without my items, and forced to pursue the matter further.

This has been an unnecessarily stressful and frustrating experience. A business selling internationally should understand and properly manage customs requirements. Unfortunately, Nouvar demonstrated a lack of accountability, poor customer service, and no regard for consumer rights. I am still disputing the issue with them.

I will not be purchasing from Nouvar again.

Pretty everything went wrong.

Pretty everything went wrong.

Just like the other shoppers from this terrible company, I have been scammed .Olivia Carter has sent the same nonsense e mail to all those who complain . Coat which I foolishly ordered has cost me £84 plus over £28 to return, tracked, took 4 days to get to China, but sitting in Customs. Wish I had read Trust pilot reviews prior to ordering. Feel terrible to give those crooks my money..

Fake site selling cheap tat

Fake site they say it’s a mother and daughter from Australia. Cheap rubbish they sell. Bought a bag for £23 think I got a discount so maybe £18 . When it arrived I checked the internet and it was on sale from £3 . Got it in a different colour for 70p on amazon. Tried to get a refund or send it back . Which would cost me to send to china . I was getting a part refund to spend on something else . No way was I going to give them anymore of my money . A lesson learned. I’ll know to look on trust pilot next time . Avoid at all costs

The worst scamming company

The worst scamming company. You think you are ordering quality European goods, but this is a front for a Chinese tat company. Awful quality, I found the exact same rubbish handbag on Temu for a fraction of the price. Totally dishonest company. This was their reply to my request for a refund: ‘I completely understand if you’d prefer to return the item. Just a heads-up, though: returns from international locations can take a bit longer, and because our fulfillment center is located in China, the shipping costs will be covered by you. There's also a chance that the package could be delayed or even held by customs, which could make things tricky. If you decide to go ahead with the return, I’ll walk you through the process.’

Stay well away!

I would give 0 stars for this Company

I would give 0 stars for this Company. Same situation as everyone else who have commented below. The priduct advertised online are a scam. The quality of the item received was nothing like qhat was sold. Its poorly made, material is very thin and cheap and price is just a ripped off. I would stay away from this Nouvar - this will never take off as I can see many people have already been scammed including myself now.. such a shame... they claim to be from netherlands but I dont think they are as return shipping they requests to return itwm back to China and cannot guarantee refunds. How bad that this world get nowadays. What you sow is what you will reap. One day you will understand why it happened to yourself or to your Company. God bless you.

SCAM - Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could - think this website is a SCAM. Have been sent a completely different and much less lower quality item from what was pictured and described. Contacted to query and arrange return and advised I would need to return to CHINA at my own cost and could only expect a refund when item had cleared customs and arrived at warehouse. Wishing I had searched for company name prior to ordering as this website appears to be a complete SCAM. The website images and descriptions appear to be false and returns and refund policy is misleading. Will be reporting to hopefully save other unknowing customers from being ripped off as feel like this company is in breach of Consumer Protection Act 2015.

Also want to make it clear this review was left after consulting their customer support and realising at that stage I had been scammed. In response to the offer below “to support me through the process”, the support team have already had that opportunity, that is how I have come to write the above review.

AVOID AT ALL COST

AVOID AT ALL COST. You’re throwing money down the drain basically. Quality is rubbish and was told if I was to return I would have to pay up to £36 for returns. Other option is a 10% partial refund which is absolutely shocking.

Cheap tat with no realistic return option - never again.

Pyjamas advertised as Silk and delivered as 100% Polyester, bottoms different size to top. Contacted their support and advised returns need to be sent to their distribution hub in China at my expense laced with a thinly veiled threat of additional customs charges or retention. In short, this website offers cheap tat with no returns. The other one start trust pilot reviews are apparently true. Never again.

Continued horrendous customer services- do not use this company

I received a reply from Nouvar regarding my previous complaint and bad experience. Nouvar asked for order details so they could look into this. There was no reply option and no details of where to send this to.

AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!

Their web-site photos and descriptions of products are totally misleading - they claim to be quality goods but are actually cheap and nasty. Delivery time is ridiculously long and customer-service seems intent on making you give up when complaining.
Having complained about the original clothing ordered, I eventually accepted their 'store-credit' offer to allow me to chose other items.
SEE THEIR RETURNS POLICY BEFORE ORDERING !!
The second order arrived and was equally poor.
Everything is now going to the local Charity shop and hopefully they'll benefit from my £72 spend.

0 stars. DO NOT USE THEM. Awful quality and sizing and they won't refund you. You get an option of 20% back to keep the unwearable item. Or a credit or told you can return but it's likely it will get stopped at customs in China. Not the refund policy where they say they are happy to accept returns. This is an awful company.

Very disappointed in the product I…

Very disappointed in the product I received poor quality said it was leather was cheap plastic at best, asked for a return label for refund was told had 3 options to have store credit like I would buy from them again, to have 10% of my payment back and keep the rubbish sent to me, or ship back to china and pay for it myself. Do NOT buy from this site! Like many others I fell for this

Like many others I fell for this. Do NOT buy from this site. Terrible cheap, nasty products that are nothing like they are pictured. Tried to return and they keep offering a partial refund or store credit, which I don’t want because I don’t want more cheap horrible clothes to get rid of! You CANNOT get a return as they tell you that you have to send it to China and it will likely be held by customs and never get there.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID! At all cost!!

If could give Nouvar -1star I would.
Place my order on the 28th October, and still haven't received the order. When I reached out to them they sent the order to my old address.
They acknowledged by email that there was a glitch in their system and the old address was used to send the order to the delivery company, however, since it is marked as delivered they cannot issue me with a refund and that I need to call the delivery company for "the delivery" company to retrieve the item!
I have reached out to my bank to dispute the payment.
Very disappointed!!
