Had a very bad experience at the check in counter while checking in for a flight from frankfurt. A very rude and unprofessional lady was at the counter bossing around and being rude to customers. The worst customer experience EVER !!! Never again this airline!!

After all the bad reviews I saw I was a bit worried about my next flight to Tunis.
On check in desk everything was fine, I had few grams on my luggage more then I should have, but the staff was very kind, very lovely, very smiley also.
With both flights everything was fine, no delays, no grumpy staff, no problems!
Please DO NOT listen to all bad reviews, they are a good company and also they have on their duty free cheaper cigarettes and snacks.
I totally recommended this company and definitely I will flight with them next time If will be the case.

Has anyone successfully received compensation from Nouvelair for damaged baggage??They just ignoring my emails or massage? DO NOT FLY WITH NOUVELAIR! This Airline does not even deserve 1 star it is the biggest scam of an airline. My mum and I booked a holiday to Tunisia and our return flight was cancelled before we even left for our holiday and we were not informed until we got to the airport the day of the return flight. There were no flights to our destination for the next TWO DAYS so we were stuck in the airport and ended up having to spend £300 each just to get home! The staff were not helpful at all and we have still not recieved a refund 3 months later for the flight which they CANCELLED or compensation for having to sleep in the airport overnight and spend money on a return flight.

I wrote 3 emails to this company to complain about delayed flights, rude staff and being held on the platform in Gatwick airport for over an hour and not be able to use the toilet. They did not respond to any of them! I called them once and they ignored me, they asked me to send an email which I told them I did. I decided to call them again and the lady said that someone will respond to my complain (the same day). No one responded to it!

Strongly recommend using another airline
This Airline does not even deserve a one star, delays occurred both outbound (25th of July due to technical issues) and inbound 1st August due to bad weather, in regards to the inbound flight once the plane had grounded we were sat waiting being told “another 5 minutes” each time when asked when can we leave the plane which went on for almost an hour. While on stand still, basic human rights to use the toilet were denied, with staff calling customers “big babies” for their own inability to communicate the further delay on letting us off the plane. Making a young girl cry as she desperately needed the toilet while the plane was just stationary, they refused to give their names when requested by the mother of the child. Numerous customers were asking for information but were being turned away. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this airline especially for those with young families. Having read other reviews it seems this airline is consistently prone to delays and it’s not worth putting yourselves through the frustration and stress, use another airline who will communicate and kinder staff.
Canceling flights and not getting money back
We had a flight from Basel To Tunis and they didnt let my family trough because my two little siblings were on my moms passport. They didnt even let my other siblings go even tough they should have been able to because they are old enough. After that we went back and after a few days we booked another flight and went to our destination. Keep in mind we still had our flight ticket from Tunis to Basel that we wanted to use. So we didnt book another flight. But for some reason they canceled our flight and we didn't get our money. For the first and second flight. And we also had connected flights so we lost a lot of money. You cant even contact them. They are not helpful and you only get automated responses in the emails.
I wish i can put -100 star for this airline
I had a terrible experience with Nouvelair. My flight, scheduled for 5:00 AM on June 28th, was significantly delayed without any clear communication from the airline. I drove three hours to the airport and stayed awake all night, only to be left in the dark about the new departure time.
Various sources provided conflicting information, with some stating a departure at 9:00 PM and others at 2:00 PM. This lack of accurate updates is completely unacceptable and has caused me immense inconvenience and stress.
The way Nouvelair treats its customers is appalling. This experience has completely shattered my trust in the airline, and I will never fly with them again. I strongly advise others to avoid this airline if they value their time and peace of mind.

Awful customer service. For 8 weeks trying to get invoice after no show. Impossible. 7 calls resulting in high international phonecosts. Emails not responded to.

This airline is by far the worst I have ever encountered. Their strict policies were completely unjust, as they singled us out based solely on our appearance while allowing others to pass without any issues. Furthermore, the flight was delayed for an excruciatingly long period of over three hours. If you are seeking a pleasant airline experience, I strongly advise against choosing this particular airline.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Novuleair at the airport. From the very beginning, there was no information regarding the flight delay. The Novuleair staff were completely unreachable, and no one could provide any information, which only increased our frustration. The lack of communication and support for passengers in such stressful situations is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using this airline's services.
Extremely Disappointed with Nouvelair - Time for a Change
After years of flying with Nouvelair, my family and I have reached our limit due to numerous unsatisfactory experiences.
Consistent Flight Delays: We've encountered delays exceeding 6 hours on multiple occasions. These extensive delays have caused significant inconvenience and stress.
Payment Issues: On two occasions, payment was taken from my card during the purchase process, but no ticket was issued. We had to wait for weeks to get our funds back, despite making several complaints. This kind of error is unacceptable and highly frustrating.
Last-Minute Itinerary Changes: Nouvelair has a habit of making last-minute itinerary changes, including adding new stops. This not only disrupts our travel plans but also adds unnecessary travel time.
Flight Cancellations and Unreasonable Fees: When Nouvelair cancels a flight, they call to reschedule but then charge unreasonable fees to change the date again. It's outrageous that we have to pay extra for a situation they caused.
No Compensation for Delays: Despite the frequent delays, Nouvelair has never offered any form of compensation or even an apology for the inconvenience caused.
The list of issues goes on, and it's clear that Nouvelair's customer service and reliability have deteriorated significantly. We have been loyal customers for many years, but it is now time to find a more dependable airline.

Worst airline I flown with (trip to Tunisia). My first time and last. My bag was 3 over and was told bags no good. Was passed around several members of staff all whilst flight was currently boarding. I told them I would just pay for checked bag or whatever needed to be done as I did not want to miss my flight. I was told that could not be done!! So my choice was therefore to board flight without my belongings or miss flight. Thank god my fiancé was flying with another airline (Luthansa) who we ran to and he paid to check my bag in with them instead (with no issues) whilst I managed to run through and JUST make my flight. Would definitely fly with an alternative even if it means paying more and would not recommend. What an end to a holiday …
