Nova.Global -- Four Months and No Package Yet
Months of delays, repeated follow-ups, and an incorrect “refused delivery” status
I have spent more than four months trying to get an international shipment delivered to Hungary through Nova Global and its delivery partner, UPS. The process has involved repeated requests for paperwork, unanswered follow-ups, and no clear resolution.
During customs clearance, I explained that I was importing the shipment as a private individual for personal use. Nevertheless, I was sent an authorization form that appeared to be intended for businesses. I repeatedly asked for the correct form and clarification about what was required. I supplied documents and information, including my Hungarian VPID number, and continued following up.
On September 16, I paid the customs charges and asked for delivery. On September 18, Nova Global confirmed that it had passed the payment details to its partners.
On September 24, Nova Global told me that its monitoring system showed I had refused the shipment during a delivery attempt on September 21. I did not refuse it. I replied immediately, disputed that information, and asked for another delivery attempt.
As of September 28, I have received no response to that request and no confirmed redelivery date.
What makes this experience particularly frustrating is the lack of clear responsibility between Nova Global and UPS. I have repeatedly been told that information was forwarded or that I should contact another office, while the shipment remains unresolved. Paying the customs charges has still not resulted in delivery.
I want the incorrect refusal status investigated and corrected, confirmation of the package’s current location, and a firm delivery date. After months of chasing this shipment, these are basic requests.
Based on this experience, I would avoid using this delivery arrangement again.
