Nearly 4 years ago, I was told by NowNZ that I needed a phoneline for my unlimited fibre, just the other day I find out that I didn't need it. So I've been paying a $10 phoneline for nothing for nearly 4 years, never used or had a phone let alone a phone bill. I will be changing providers. Don't bother with these people!!

I was with this provider for 4 years and had an issues with my broadband. I asked to put my account on hold as we would need to get fibre connection. They just said the only thing they can do is cancel my account.
After speaking to Chorus they stated that the broadband provider should have issued a fibre request or a technician to come and fix the breakage. When I called to discuss this I just got told that it was my miscommunication. Nothing else. No help or customer care after 4 years. Would not recommend this company. No common sense and not a inch of helpfulness in rectifying the situation.

I am so disappointed with Now Broadband. My speed is well below what I am paying for all the time. sometimes its only 10% of what I am paying for. I never had this issue with my previous provider. Also my broadband stops working a lot. That happened with my previous provider but not as often as with Now. This would be tolerable if their customer service actually sorted the issue out. But they don't they say it is my cables or hardware, but they never look into the issue with Chorus or their own settings. Also the hardware they provide is just a wireless only router. Which is only good for a 2 bedroom appartment. So you have to pay more if you want coverage over a reasonable sized house by buying multiple units. I am happy to say I am using a much better router than they provide. Unfortunately, I am on a 12 month contract but as soon as it ends. I am finding another provider. This is the worst internet provider I have ever been with. Never again!!!

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed a decline in customer service quality. During my recent calls, I’ve struggled to hear what the person on the other end is saying, even after informing them of the issue. I have also had a lack of help in regards to a network issue I had a few months ago.
