Very helpful in finding me an apprenticeship that matches my background in academics (performing arts and media). Very helpful in making sure I was prepared for my interview and keeping in contact to make sure how I got on, great service overall.

I've seen plenty of other great reviews so perhaps I have just gotten incredibly unlucky in my experience with the company.
Things started out seemingly well I applied to a marketing apprenticeship I'd found on the UCAS website and was taken to the now skills page to apply. As I couldn't apply directly, I filled out some forms and was told that I'd here back from a now skills rep. A few days later the call came however as I was on a marketing course I missed it, almost immediately (20 mins later) I tried to call back PK (the rep who contacted me) but the phone was engaged. No worries however I had an email from him asking me to send over my details and prepare for a pre screening call (this was at 3.44 feb 2nd) I responded at 4.03 same day but this email was never responded to and I never received another call. I emailed PK again on the 5th hoping he might be able to call me before the week was over but again received an automated response explaining that PK had left the company.
No bother, I thought, ill just have to email the company directly, I sent the recruitment email a message that same day as it was the only other email I had for the company. NO RESPONSE. I followed up again on the 9th... NO RESPONSE, I emailed again on the 20th as id received a call from an unknown number which I thought could have been them... NO RESPONSE. I want to make it clear that this whole time I was trying to call text and leave voicemail for the company on any number I had.
After receiving no response at this point I decided that the company was a likely scam, it being ran so poorly. With this in mind I simply gave up trying to contact. Just the other day however april 20th I finally received some more communication. From a rep named JC.
JC has in fact emailed me back and called with me since and it seems things have been difficult for him as he has a lot on his plate picking up slack from other employees. I can only assume this implies those which may have left in which case it seems to be poorly managed if clients are falling through the cracks when an employee leaves.

In fairness to NowSkills, I do believe they the potential to provide a valuable service to apprentices and jobseekers, however their current processes are lacking and the conduct of their staff is at times almost offensive.
I applied for a Level 3 Data apprenticeship through NowSkills, as I am looking to make a career change from marketing. I explained this to the recruiter that NowSkills appointed to me, Dionne, who was helpful at first and managed to get me an interview.
I was successful in the first round and was invited back for a second stage, however the job was essentially a TikTok marketing role at a startup, who in my opinion are just utilising government schemes/apprenticeship funding to subsidise their staff's wages and have no interest in developing apprentices in Data/IT.
I wasn't interested in that particular company or role because I felt it would be a step backwards and expressed my concerns to Dionne via email, who proceeded to call me back-to-back whilst I was in an interview elsewhere, which fair enough she didn't know, but when I called her back to explain and reiterate my concerns, she said:
"Well that's a big fat waste of my time isn't it." And, "If you don't go this interview I will have to blacklist you and we won't be able to find you any other opportunities"
At which point I said that's fine and left it at that. It's a shame because there may have been genuinely suitable and exciting opportunities, but their attempts to gaslight or blackmail aren't worth the hassle.

Wanted to say a massive thanks to Sebastian for all his efforts in finding me a job I love and starting my apprenticeship journey. He was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and I’m sure I will continue to have a positive experience over the course of my apprenticeship.

Had a job interview thanks to the help of the recruiter and was told I got the job. However, a couple days before I was supposed to start I got an email saying my start day was going to be pushed back up to four weeks for internal issues. Fast forward to the end of the four week, and I hadn’t heard anything. I emailed, and the date was going to be pushed back another 2 weeks. This continued for quite a while with the date being pushed back and I had no communication leading to me having to ask at the end of every new updated start date. I’ve stopped asking when I’m going to start the job and to no surprise I haven’t heard anything. I found out I got the job at the start of January it’s now the 1st April. I’m aware the job seems to have fallen through but now skills gave me no information on this matter.
Chris, Seb, and Dionne were great help with finding an apprenticeship, and made the process of connecting with businesses simple. Thanks to them I was able to secure a great apprenticeship that suited my skills and aspirations.

I have recently started my multi-channel marketing apprenticeship with NowSkills, the process of signing up and being put forward for interviews was very efficient and very smooth. I would strongly recommend NowSkills for any creatives looking to get their foot in the door in the industry.

In my experience, NowSkills was pretty useless for me.
Towards the end of 2024 and through 2025. I had 3 opportunities at landing an Apprenticeship. The first opportunity that was given; I unfortunately got the rejection.
Fast forward months later I get a call, and the employer named Kevin who was helping me said “it’s taking a long time to find you an apprenticeship”, whilst also providing me little to no information on why it’s taking so long; I eventually get a second opportunity and alas I still get rejected sadly.
Following this experience, I finally found a temporary job where I had to work as I was out of savings, out of any type of income even UC due to my living situation. I receive a call from Kevin being enthusiastic about a new opportunity (this is months after the after with no conversation in between) with a new job - I accepted the opportunity and began research.
I got the interview date two days after the spontaneous call. I realised quickly the interview clashed with my work hours so I had to inform Kevin in hopes to reschedule - in my honest opinion sounded very rude, non-empathetic and kind of selfish. I understand working at such an establishment you get commissions and if X Y or Z fall flat you are out of that commission. That is essentially what happened here - Kevin replied along the lines of “so you’re not doing the interview? Due to this it will impact and hurt your chances of finding another interview” followed by a “cheers” and hung up. I explained to him that I had to work this job or I would potentially be homeless, and he didn’t show any type of exception - more a discard of a candidate.
It’s been almost a year and I haven’t heard anything from them, and honestly I’m glad. I’d rather have no job than hopes of an interview with him.
(Upon assumption) Reading other 1* reviews it seems like he has been fired, or a manager has been since my experience so it could be better! Ultimately this was my experience and it was awful.
