A not fit for purpose organisation we ask for my 87 year old mother to have a 20 minute dinner call as she as 3 morning calls to help her to shower these rejected my mum request been told for her to eat microwave meals DISGUSTING there people where my mum lives who are all able body get 3 vist per day to give them there medication and that I say is a waste of money and the are able to do it them self's people who need help get refused why I despair social service they are just nosey parkers and not fit for purpose useless disgusting organisation who think they know better for anyone

Extremely frustrating experience with Neath Port Talbot parking enforcement, and infrastructure.
After appealing a PCN, I received a formal letter stating clearly that the discounted payment of £25 would be available for 14 days from the date of the notice. However, when attempting to pay through their official online portal, the system still demanded £50 instead of the amount stated in their own correspondence.

It’s difficult to understand how residents are expected to comply when the council’s written communication and payment system contradict each other.

To make matters worse, the parking attendant involved was unnecessarily rude when speaking to people parked nearby. Combined with the poor condition of many local roads, it’s disappointing to see enforcement being prioritised while basic infrastructure appears neglected.
Overall a very frustrating and poorly managed process, which seems to be a recurring issue in this general area.

I hope I place this message on behalf of everyone in Neath and surrounding areas who enjoy our canal. For example, to walk or cycle or maybe observe the so many wonders of nature.
Our canal should be a facility for us all to safely enjoy.
Quite why so much of our canal has been left to ruin, becoming overgrown in all directions is beyond my understanding. The wildlife is unable to navigate up and down the waterway, the path in areas is like a jungle.....more worrying is the danger posed in several areas where it is impossible to see the edge of the canal.
Truthfully, I'm not sure who has responsibility to maintain our canal, however some care and attention is now embarrassingly overdue.
It would be wonderful to see some action, please, to return our canal to its' rightful place of beauty and accessibility for all of us, the animals and birds.

I was pretty amazed by the service and kindness everyone provided me with when I went to the Minor Injuries Unit in Neath Port Talbot. Each of the staff was very professional and so lovely in the same time. The doctor explained everything thoroughly, and made sure I was left with no doubts. Deeply surprised in a good way!
