Absolutely loved my ski trip with Nuco.

Absolutely loved my ski trip with Nuco. Our reps Killian and Campbell were so helpful and became good friends with our room over the course of the trip. We stayed in Avoriaz. The resort felt unsafe as the locals were repeatedly aggressive to our group. Nuco were helpful in upping security and advising us on safety. I’ve travelled with Nuco in the passed and have never felt unsafe travelling with them before. I wouldn’t however travel back to this resort until the issues with the locals are resolved.

Everything worked out well in the end

Everything worked out well in the end. Our rep Bethen was very chatty and friendly. She answered any questions we had and made us feel welcome.

Very informative staff

Very informative staff, good events lineup, slight issues with accommodation but that isn’t part of NUCO I believe. Overall would book again if I didn’t want the hassle of booking airport transfer, accommodation, and lift pass.

Trip was really good overall

Trip was really good overall — everything felt well organised and ran smoothly. The accommodation and activities were solid, and the NUCO staff were helpful and easy to deal with. No major issues from my side, would definitely recommend.

Predatory Company

They initially make you pay a £150 non-refundable deposit, which would be fine if they gave you more details. They charge you extortionate fees, don't tell you which specific accomodation you will be staying at, and choose the most obscure place due to it being cheap. This lead to flights being £400 return, with the £300 nuco coach the only alternative. Once you find out that the place you're staying in usually charges 3x less per night than you've been quoted, you've already spent £150 on the deposit. Nuco are so gracious, that you're allowed to find somebody else to take your place, but you'll soon find out that nobody wants to go! On a reselling groupchat, 10s of people were selling their £150 deposit for £25 with nobody interested. I could not recommend this company less, and would recommend booking your own trip and saving half the money NUCO want.

Our group trips are designed to be very reasonably priced, and we make every effort to be as clear as possible about what is and isn’t included in the package price. We do not overcharge for accommodation, the prices reflect what the direct supplier would be charging. For all group packages, options such as lift passes, 24/7 support, discounted wristbands, and the full event schedule are all included within the base price of the trip.

Deposits are non-refundable as outlined at the time of booking, which is standard practice to secure group arrangements and accommodations for all participants. Accommodation is selected to provide good value while meeting the needs of the group, and we provide as much information as possible in advance. We also offer the option to transfer your booking to another person if you are unable to attend, giving some flexibility.

We appreciate your feedback and will continue to review our processes to ensure clarity and transparency for all passengers.

Avoriaz was unsafe

I thought all of the Nuco reps were really helpful. However, the room we had was way too small for 5 people, I went on the trip last year in tinges and had a much bigger room for less people. The room didn’t have a lot of essential things such as a kettle and there wasn’t a lot of storage space. The toilet seat was broken as well as out main cupboard/wardrobe so we had to keep most of our clothes on the floor. The traveler’s that were on the trip really put a damper on everyone’s holiday. I felt threatened and was cat called multiple times on nights out on the way to the club and on the way home. They were kissing me on the neck from the behind, grabbing my waist and being sexually agressive towards me and my friends. We were staying in a hotel with a lot of them staying in it and they cornered us on the first night and were kissing my friend continuously on the cheek so I had to push them off. I feel like many locals were talking about the fact they were here and said it was a well-known fact that they were coming at this time of the year. The women at the ski rental place told me about them coming on arrival and told us to put our skis away before après to prevent them being stolen which took a lot of time to do everyday. I think the trip should not have been booked at this time and more could have been done about it other than just asking us if we were safe to walk home. Because even walking in a group with men we were still attacked and no one walked us up to our room so we had issues walking from the ground floor to our room. I think the nights out weren’t very well planned as we ended up at the same place every day and there wasn’t a lack of communication to tell us that people had moved from the original plans of the night to another place. I’m just a bit disappointed because it was a lot of money. I had a good time but could have been planned better.

Dear Marnie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent trip. While we’re pleased to hear that you found the NUCO representatives helpful, we’re sorry to learn that several aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations.

We regret the accommodation issues you encountered, including the room size, lack of storage, and broken fixtures. These concerns should have been addressed during the stay. I cannot see any record of these issues being raised during the trip by yourself. If they had been, we would have been able to look at rectifying these as quickly and effectively as possible.

We are particularly concerned by what you’ve described regarding your personal safety and the behaviour experienced from other travellers. This is unacceptable, and we are very sorry that this affected your holiday. Unfortunately, we cannot control other groups booking into the same resort during the same timeframe. However, once we became aware of issues involving another group, we took immediate action by deploying additional security and welfare team members from the UK to better support our passengers.

Changes to the nightlife programme were made as a direct result of these issues, with passenger safety as the priority. We appreciate that this led to repetition and some confusion, and we apologise that communication around these changes was not as clear as it should have been.

We understand this was a significant financial investment, and while we’re glad you enjoyed parts of the trip, we acknowledge that there were areas that could have been better managed. Your feedback will be shared internally to help inform future planning.

We had a great experience on the Nuco…

We had a great experience on the Nuco trip, our rep Zara was so friendly and helpful, she checked up on us all the time and always let us know what was going on. Tommy and Cleo were really nice aswell. I would definitely book another trip with Nuco.

Amazing Experience

Just got back from Risoul with Nuco. Everything was amazing from the ski to the apres and the nightlife. Our rep Cassie was amazing and went above and beyond with everything over our stay and made sure we had a great time.

I am just back from Risoul! What a wonderful and crazy week it was. Both my friends and I were extremely lucky with our NUCO rep Monty. He was always there to answer questions, very knowledgeable and very fast sorting and problems we had. Thank you to him we had an amazing holiday with no issues!

First time skiing

NUCO was great with making sure everything was organised, from beginner lessons to accommodation and airport transfer. Gus was a great rep, checking in on my room every night to see if we had everything we needed. He was very friendly and helpful & really went above and beyond. Abi was also very helpful, particularly when our airport transfer home was delayed 4 hours due to the weather. Overall it was a very memorable and fun trip:)

Great organisation
