Nuheara Don't seem to Care. Buy Airpods Pro Instead.

I am a severely disabled customer who bought two pairs of Nuheara earphones awhile back. I gave one pair to a friend and kept the iQBuds Max. They were faulty. It took a lot of hassle with the company to get replacements which FINALLY arrived. They worked great indoors, until I tried them outside months later. I have tried repeatedly to get a response from Nuheara, but they just ignore my emails and they censor anything I write on Youtube. They won't answer my messages on Twitter either. I am disgusted by this company and will never give them another penny.

Below, Nuheara's response just sounds like a stock answer. You sent me one faulty pair of overpriced headphones after another. The issue is stil unresolved and it looks like I'm gonna have to call AUSTRALIA ALL THE WAY FROM ENGLAND JUST TO GET HELP!

OK, if you're gonna put me through that I'll give you one chance on the phone. I will be reporting back here as to the outcome.

Earbuds say pairing but don't follow through!
My iOS and Android devices try to pair with no success!
They try to communicate but IQ buds 2
Doesn't connect!
I don't have the hours in a day to play with this nonsense!
I asked for a new pair in exchange no response.
This is not what I expected very discouraged !

No support if things go wrong later

Pre-ordered the IQBuds MAX for my father in early 2020. They were delayed by months which we understood, but were disappointed by nonetheless. There were countless good reviews online from all sorts of places singing the praises of these buds. But the reality is that my dad wore them sparingly because they were complicated to get set up exactly right and they didn't last long enough to be in all the time. Plus it's not always appropriate to have an earbud visible in your conversations.

But all that was something that could have been overlooked. Barely a year into his purchase, with minimal use, the buds stopped charging and there went hundreds of dollars wasted on a product that basically ended up being wireless earbuds.

Support refused to provide any repairs or replacements because it was just over the 1 year period. My dad patiently wrote back asking if there was something that might fix it, since they offered no assistance or help without that prompting.

It didn't matter, the buds had malfunctioned after minimal usage in mostly a home environment.

Nuheara has no obligation to provide any real support after one year, but it's good to know when you buy a product this expensive, the company doesn't care about you at all. I would recommend finding another brand or going for a hearing aid. This product is okay, but the customer service and experience overall is extremely disappointing.

Lost parcel, No refund before the parcel back to them

If there is a choice of no star, I would have ticked it. It is a very strange company. It looks professional on the website while their customer services are profoundly very bad. My son bought an IQbuds2 MAX at $527NZ in June 2021. The parcel disappeared on the way. NZ post can not locate it. The customer service told my son that they had to wait for the parcel to return to them before the refund. The lady sounds very unhappy and impatient in the email though my son is the person paid without gaining profit. Obviously, she acts in the same way habitually. You guys can imagine how the whole team behaviour! The company either needs to refresh the service team or it has been in deep trouble with management.---I would like to update here. My son finally received the refund. That is good. I received the reply from the seller. That is good. Each company dreams of customers who can think in their shoes. However, buy and sell themselves are opposite behavious. Third party delivery companies are subcontractor of the sellers, which means seller's responsibility. It will be great if the service people are trained to be profesdional on using words carefully, telling them the time frame of solving the problems. It is way more better than using sarcastic expression like"outsider" or "ask your bank". Let us imagin what would the seller do if my son had received the hearing buds and hadn't paid for 2 months. Will they think in buyers' shoes and calm down because my son is seeking money from his relationship network? PROBABALY NOT.

When this happens, we have to follow the procedures outlined by the shippers and the 3PL warehouse and this can take some time. Not happy with IQ2buds or IQstreamTV

Delivery of my IQ2buds was slow but I bought as a Kickstarter and they are usually late! They do compensate for my medium hearing loss but the Android controls are fiddly and I usually get feedback effects when in World mode. Then I bought an IQstreamTV thinking that I would be less antisocial to the neighbors. It was a pig to get working (my Panasonic TV didn't help) but the connection to the buds is unreliable. Basically they are useless and to make matters worse they are out of sync with the Sonos soundbar. That's probably also a fault of the TV but they still won't work for me. I will send them back.

Updated: Spam Folders are sometimes the enemy

I have returned the IQ Buds2Max requesting a refund. I sent them back via the USPS and the companies preprinted return label which included shipping. I got a tracking number and tracked the return to their California location. It took LONGER than the 5-7 business days however, once the received the return in order to get my refund posted back to my bank account. Odd thing was I paid $500.00 to the company but only got $499. 00 back. Not sure why the difference in the amount returned...but just glad to finally get my money back.

UPDATE: Okay, so after sending multiple upon multiple email replies to the company, and not getting any replies back, I decided to post on their FB page. That got their attention and tonight I got a message from one of their staff. For whatever reason, some of their emails (the ones I needed) went to my SPAM folder. I don't normally check that folder because my IP has very good spamming filters and I never or very rarely get any. After figuring out what happened, I was able to get my RA label. I really had wished the Buds would have worked out. It's my ear canal shape that is the issue, not their devices. My most sincere apologies for the flub.

I purchased the IQbuds2 MAX back a couple of weeks ago and actually got them within a week. I tried them out for more than a week and realized that they were not working for me. I contacted the company and told them I wanted to return them, was then directed to their website to fill out a return request. I completed the return request and submitted it. I've not heard anything back from the company since that submission concerning my return. However I do keep getting request to "rate" my experience. I did fill out one of their request and gave them 1 star, explaining the very poor communication or should I say non-existent communication. I requested to be contacted, still nothing. So, here I am again, and I AM NOT HAPPY. I've made copies of all of my communications with this company, including time and date stamped copies of the return request.

Buy something else from a retail store.

One star because the shipping time was good .
As for the product and the communications and product tech support , less than one star.
The tech support guy that replies only via email either after about 2 days.
1.Dosen't read the emails,
2 Doesn't have English is not his first language or
3 he has little knowledge of the product and can not be bothered to even read the info on the Nuheara web page.
The noise cancelling is no better than if just using them as ear plugs .
Sound is fine for listening to music in a quite room , about as good as my $100 on-ear headphones.
Controls are clunky
You can buy another name brand of blue tooth wireless ear buds that have all the same features as the IQbuds 2 max for $200 less from retail stores in Australia.
With the Hearing ID turned on I get a series high pitch noises that are loud enough for other people standing close to hear. Made my tinnitus worse. Thanks.
And to really make you worry about the company , if you ring the number on the contact page you get a " This number is disconnected " message.

Iqbuds2 max, bitterly disappointed

I was so excited to receive my iqbuds2 max order after reading numerous reviews everywhere, I've never been so disappointed with a product which kinda left me depressed. The sound was so robotic and trying out in a noisyish environment I found was so poor that I could actually hear better without them. I read the ringing feedback reviews and made sure the earpads were suitably fitting, my left ear rang at first but found the largest foam pads were the best for me and the ringing went away. Music was good but not outstanding, nowhere near as good as my cheaper sennheiser we're. But I bought for the hearables and unfortunately left very disappointed. I managed to get a refund after returning within 14 days. Puretone however are an excellent retailer and handled the return with zero fuss

I have twice ordered and not received…

I have twice ordered and not received product. The company does great marketing but the unknown is the product. I have waited 8 weeks with no reply. Than I received an apology from the EVP and co-founder who claims he can deliver and than again I am informed there are problems. This company has a long way to go be taken seriously. If you want to get frustrated order if you want be relaxed go elsewhere.

Mr Matlin, when you ordred on 11 October there was an onsite notification stating that there were delays due to COVID-19. We then informed you of this by email and you decided to cancel your order on the 26th October and we refunded you. Then on 4th February 2021 you reordered while our website stated "Due to COVID-19 related interruptions please expect up to a 2-4 week delay in shipping." You then provided an ultimatum that if you could not get the IQbuds within 10 days you would cancel the order. We complied with your request to cancel.

Received a logistic message but never got to transporter

I paid in full last november. Kept on receiving delay messages. 6 jan recieived a message it was send but the item never arrived at transporter. Now coming to the point that I need to cancel at creditcard company sice they give only 3 month garantee. What are you for company? Why do you do business this way?

Paid full price on 6/11/20

Paid full price on 6/11/20. There was nothing saying there was no stock. 10/12/20. Still no delivery email.

There is really no excuse. As an example i purchased a new model of a phone. It was not in stock but my order was accepted. Payment was not taken until they had stock.

Not happy as this was supposed to be a gift and that is now not going to be possible.

Very bad business practice.

So it is 16/12/20. All I get is delivery will be after 14/12/20. After as you know leaves a delivery open to any date after the date specified.

Normally you get a by date or a before date for delivery.

Nuheara has no stock and probably due to chinese manufacture. It may be a great product but that means little if it is not available.

Nothing good to say.

After waiting 3 months for the product; Sound quality is terrible sounds like a cheap plastic AM radio in a tin can. The occlusion effect was horrible: your own voice, chewing, swallowing, bones creaking, foot steps etc. were louder than anything else you hear. Very slight increase in hearing voices but extraneous noises were increased to a painful level. Noise cancellation is nonexistent. The set up is laborious and tedious and time consuming. The software is not very easily customized and awkward and difficult to manipulate. Customer services is almost nonexistent only by email after waiting days for an answer and providing no real solutions to issues. Nothing good to say would be 0 stars if possible.

Still waiting, paid 4 months ago

Ordered my Iq buds in beginning July when delivery info was 6-8 weeks, even before delivery announcement changed to " Due to overwhelming demand, the first production run of IQbuds2 MAX was sold out. Orders received now will be shipped in October" I've ordered my long before this announcement so I should get them latest in September. Send 4 emails about where my order is but no reply from Nuheara. You are writing here on Trustpilot that my order is on his way to fulfilment centre but no tracking no. is sent to me. On social media Nuheara try to be professional but act like amateur. Would definitely not recommend this unprofessional company, I'm very disappointed from this company, all they say is cause of covid 19 there are delays, I've ordered other products from Malaysia and received them within 2 weeks, does covid 19 only effect Nuheara deliveries? The very poor customer support scares me, what if I receive my Iq buds one day and have problems with them, I'm sure customer support won't help me out to solve any problems. Very poor Customer support.

Ordered about 6 weeks ago with them saying 6-8 weeks delivery time when purchased. Figured fair enough... it’s a different world at the moment.

I politely contacted them a few weeks ago asking if there were any updates. Got a pretty rude response telling me nothing helpful.

Got a automated email a few days ago saying my delivery will be 6-7 weeks now.

Would have been nice to give the customer a more personal touch, some real info on why it was taking so long to deliver.

It was starting to sound like one of those fraudulent scams where they Create all this marketing hype and interest. Take lots of pre orders taking your hard earned cash, keeping you hanging for as long as possible. Then go into liquidation or something.

I pulled the pin.. got my money back as it looks and sounds like the company is not going to deliver on their promise.

You can tell a lot about a company by their responses. Also notice how speaking openly and truthful about your experience with Nuheara they try to steer people away to a site they control the narrative.....Judge for yourself.

A good seal with a vinyl tip can produce descent bass.Hearing enhancement is definitely significant and has made a huge difference in my life when my tinnitus acts up. When I raise the "world" volume in "street" mode I am able to get ambient sound amplification up to the point where it amost cancels the hagging ringing in my ears.So, for me it was a very worthwhile purchase. I use buds to listen to music, phone calls and messages - this was a very easy transition and well worth the investment.
