Prevented from finishing treatment, ghosted by admin

I started a tattoo removal treatment with Nuriss years ago, and paid for the full course upfront, at a discount in exchange for letting them use photos of my progression on their website. I always had good experiences organising appointments, and the ladied who did my treatments were always lovely and professional. Due to having three babies and breastfeeding them since starting the treatments, there were often gaps of 1+ years between treatments. However, this was never flagged as a problem.

When I came to book my most recent treatment, I was informed that a) I would need a patch test before my next treatment because of the time lapsed since the last one, which is fair enough and b) that I have to complete my treatments before the end of this year. Well, I now live in France, and only come to London once or twice per year. Since there has to be at least 48 hours between a patch test and treatment, it means there wouldn't be time for me to do both during my planned weekend visit. I cannot come to London a second time before the end of 2024.

This was clearly an arbitrary assertion. I asked to be pointed to a contract where this time limit was stated, and got no reply. I followed up a week later, and still no one got back to me. I was essentially "ghosted" by Nuriss, and I still have a (paid for) treatment left which I can no longer use.

If you book with them, make sure the terms of the contract are made very clear, and that all parties are in agreement, so they can't just make up new rules that effectively prevent you from finishing your treatment.

Basic and rude

Customer expectations with purchases have evolved. Sadly, this ‘Dr’ brand: Decree, have no idea how to provide a good, polite or efficient customer service experience.
Turns out the massively over-priced and very basic ‘exclusive Dr’ formulated Decree products are private-label contract manufactured in the USA. *yawn*
All-in-all, another bland cash-grab brand and company to avoid.

While everyone at Nuriss is extremely…

While everyone at Nuriss is extremely friendly and supportive, I got very disappointed with the quality of the service itself. I had I injectables done there and had to see the nurse that did them three times to do what takes a good professional one session. The first two times she didn't inject enough (or injected incorrectly) and the third time she injected too much, which led to over relaxation of the muscles and very poor result. Moreover, the owner of the clinic who is a dermatologist gave me completely wrong advice, which was rejected by two other highly qualified dermatologists I saw to seek a second opinion. I used to like that place, but from now on will obviously stay away
