Freeze-Dried v Dehydrated Fruit and Vegetables

I buy emergency food for daily use and for long‑term storage. I typically purchase from Augason Farms, but I decided to try Nutrient Survival because the products I buy are not always available on Augason Farm's website, Amazon, or Walmart.

I purchased Nutrient Survival's Mixed Vegetables and Apple Slices. The first thing I noticed was the visual difference between dehydrated products (like those from Augason Farms) and freeze‑dried products from Nutrient Survival. The second difference was the taste—Nutrient Survival’s items tasted much closer to the fresh version compared to dehydrated products (Augason Farms).

I will definitely be purchasing my fruits and vegetables from Nutrient Survival in the future.
