Shit company advertise so much about careers and better opportunities and I’ve applied 3 times and got refused 3 times. It’s alright for you to employ people who don’t speak a word of English but someone with 6+ years of customer experience is not qualified enough to drive a bus apparently

Terrible customer service from Martin on the X1 bus to Coventry.
Absolutely terrible service received by Martin driving the 19.30 X1 bus to Coventry from Birmingham airport today. We simply asked if the bus goes into Birmingham centre to be met with a rude and very condescending individual. The manner in which he responded and the tone he used there was no need for, just simply say no. No need for a lecture. A note to you Martin, don’t have a customer facing job if you can’t speak to people with manners and decency. Customers don’t pay to go on the bus to have to speak to the likes of you. My lovely dad drove the west midlands buses for many years his customer service was excellent, everyone loved getting on his bus. Take a leaf out of his book, kindness and decency goes a long way and costs nothing at all.

NXWestMidlands and TfWM are…
NXWestMidlands and TfWM are discriminatory organisations. They changed routes in Smethwick meaning 48 and 89 avoid Devonshire Rd St Pauls Rd and High Street leaving vulnerable people with no services to Bearwood, Queens Head and Galton Bridge and complete lack of services to Oldbury and lack of service to West Brom and Cape Hill. Elderly and disabled and shoppers now have to walk up hill 15mins. They put two buses up Stony Lane which is a flat shorter road and left us up hill with bigger walks up hill when people at Stony Lane were already 1mins walk to 89 stops on Devonshire Rd. Putting off many users and leaving others with longer more arduous journeys. There should be two buses up Devonshire Rd and St Pauls not one and only one along Stony Lane who are already a shorter walk to 87 and 80. They clearly hate us up there. Shame on them. Hopefully they go under as organisations!!!!

The X14 is the worst bus to exist. Constantly late rude drivers times all wrong. Get a grip or stop charging so much for an absolute crap service.
Rude driver and jobsworth
Got the 16.10 number 5 bus from Wolverhampton to Codsall on 17th May 2026 as all trains cancelled towards Shrewsbury. Driver was a rude jobsworth and insisted on (a horribly overpriced) £3 full payment and refused to accept rail ticket as other drivers have happily done before when I've been in the same situation. Ahead of me he also refused a mother with a young child in the same situation. It is common practice in major service disruption to accept rail tickets. Useless, hope they lose the franchise and their sucessors find some better trained staff and fire this driver.

awful shoddy service, buses are always late and some don’t even show up. i live a 15 minute bus ride from my job and have to leave an hour before my shift because the buses can’t be relied on to be on time
a couple bus drivers have been incredibly sweet but most are miserable and shouldn’t be working with the public. we’re all underpaid, pop a smile on your face and have some human decency

FERAL YOUTH
So today , May 12th and my evening bus journey home from work , get to Chelmsley wood fine , got on 71 at 16:40 nice and quiet , until approximately 14 youths got on without paying obviosuly , blocked bus from leaving because a friend was busy outside poundland and wouldn't let bus leave until she also joined them , without paying, get as far as Babbs mill park Kingshurst and another 7/8 jump on and dont pay , all of this and the driver sits there doing nothing about it
Why am I paying monthly to use the bus to get me to and from work at a hospital , why do I bother even paying just to have every journey ruined by feral out of control free loading teenagers , as an organisation you are failing good honest citizens by allowing this trend to continue , why are the drivers not reporting it , why are the police not stopping it , fare evasion is illegal , if action isn't taken soon then I might just join them and not bother wasting £70 every four weeks of my wages to get to work . This is happening every single day , morning , afternoon and night , its a disgrace.
Free for all nowadays , pathetic way to run a public service.

So the #9 to Walsall via Bloxwich all delayed and now they have now removed the 18:51pm and the next one is @ 19:50pm?????? Bank holiday or not people still needing public transport to get to work. Shocking service......
Where is the outer circle?
Still waiting for the 11A/11C to run as a circle again. The split was a "temporary change" in 2022, 4 years later and the service is worse than ever for reliability and no sign of running circular any time soon, the 100th anniversary of the route is this year so come on, sort it out.
Stared at and still ignored by driver
Trying to catch the 16 bus from Keresley today at around 8am. Bus driver staring at me drove off. People have mobility issues, if they are 5m in front of the bus you should not be driving the bus past them, almost hitting them. I get this bus every morning, normally bus drivers are kind and professional.
Thankfully a stagecoach came 5 min after or I would be later than my schedule. Steep prices should also be supported by quality customer service. If you do not like the public, do something else…drive a truck.
The man this morning is an absolute disgrace.

Wolverhampton buss Station worst for missing busses timing. Waiting for buss x8 for 15 minutes, at 1828, never arrived. Next buss x8 18 minutes away. People standing, waiting no body cares here.
Absolute joke of a service
Absolute joke of a service. I left my house at 10 and only made it back now at 16:00 because of the disgraceful, poor bus service. The delays are absolutely ridiculous. I had to wait for the 48 bus for nearly an hour and it still didn’t arrive. I ended up having to take another route which took over an hour then on my way home the bus was delayed yet again! No apologies, or anything but the bus drivers just standing around laughing like they’re having the time of their lives. Ridiculous! A day out which was only meant to be 3 hours ended up being 6!
