So I have been searching for a good solar company for a while and after getting quotes from other companies Nxtgenenergy came out on top so I thought I give them a call. I was not disappointed they have given me a very good price for very good quality service and products. My contact was Bobby which he was amazing very knowledgeable and Kelly at the head office who sorted out all the handover paper works. The guys that came to install the solar panels and commission it was amazing, knowledgeable and professional. When they finished the job the guys explained to me how to use the system. Great service and team keep up the good works.

We had pretty much written off the hope that we could have Solar PV installed on our residential Park Home after being let down by the " Solar Together" scheme and their chosen installer. I had done my research but as soon as I mentioned "Park Home " all the companies i contacted effectively said it couldn't be done!
Nxtgen Energy was recommended to us recently. We, as many other park home owners are resold our (very expensive ) electricity by the park owner at a commercial
tariff ( so no Ofgem price cap for us ) The fact that we were resold our electricity was the stumbling block we met with pretty every company we contacted. I contacted Nxtgen Energy and Bobby Barnes at Nxtgen reassured us that our installation could be done and done economically. He very quickly produced an excellent quotation that met our needs with easy to understand realistic predictions on the performance of the system. Four weeks after our first contact our solar PV and battery system is installed and generating our electricity. The scaffolding for the installation was done in house and the installation team were both knowledgeable and professional. I can unreservedly recommend Nxtgen Energy for your solar PV project and particularly recommend them for Park Home owners who often pay much more than other households for their electricity. This fact makes the installation of solar PV on park homes an even greater, cost effective solution to high energy bills.

After a very pushy local solar installation company, I had seen NxtGenEnergyLimited on Facebook. Did the “due diligence” and finally got in touch with Bobby Barnes. Was initially surprised that he wasn’t concerned about having a site visit (he was aware several had been before). Had specific requirements set down by our site owner (and me). Black panels, Big battery, enclosure for the inverter & battery units. Nothing fazed him, within a few hours he had calculated our needs and what could be fitted, came back with a quote that was acceptable to both parties (yes, some haggling and changes to quote).
3 weeks of discussions to get our DNO (?) number, not NxtGen’s fault, and we had a date.
Scaffolding up on Saturday on our bungalow (health and safety says so) took 2hrs 15mins front and back done. Installation took place Wednesday and Thursday that week, scaffolding down on the Saturday (just over an hour). Scaffolders were quick and considerate of our very small cul-de-sac, everything cleared up quick.
The two installers were meticulous, tidy and worked well together. Was not rushed and all my minor questions and “picky” install requirements were taken on board and done to my satisfaction. Only the software updates for the battery and hybrid inverter delayed the install by an hour or two, but they didn’t leave until after we proved system was fully functional and I understood the monitoring app on my (and now my wife’s) phones.

Solar panels, inverter and battery were installed quickly and all people involved were very professional. All was done at a competitive price. The team went as far as setting up an export MPAN, which could have taken up to 4 weeks with the energy supplier.

Choosing a solar installer is a nightmare, we are so glad that we found NXTGEN. From the initial contact with Steve, the quote from Bobby and the installation by Connor and his team this has been seamless and stress free. They supplied quality equipment at a reasonable price, excellent technical knowledge and advice, all supplied and installed on time. As anyone knows its so difficult to choose a company as there are so many pitfalls , we cannot recommend NXTGEN highly enough so pleased we chose you.

Excellent service all round. I can’t believe how quickly this all happened. All fitted and commissioned in days, now within two weeks I’m exporting power to the grid, and paying off my large energy deficit. Solar power is a minefield, but NxtGen took control of it, and sorted out what I really needed.

I spent a lot of time comparing offers and NxtGen were by far the best value. The process was fast and easy, I dealt with Bobby who was always helpful and responsive. We had one minor hiccup which is bound to happen from time to time and it was fixed in 24 hrs. Can't fault them.

After searching for local companies and obtaining quotes for our installation we found NxtGen Energy to be highly competitive, easy to communicate with and having the advantage of a scaffolding team as well as the panel installers.
Our link was Bobby Barnes who worked with us to maximise what we could get for our budget and located smaller solar panels to fit onto a limited roofspace yet still produce a good output (7 panels producing up to 3kW).
Within a week of agreeing the specification the scaffolding was up, panels installed and then scaffolding down. We couldn't have asked for a smoother process.
Everyone in the company we communicated with was really helpful (especially Kelly in Accounts) making the whole process stress free.

After about 2 weeks of internet searching, countless phone calls from Solar companies, we finally came across Nxt Gen and I think as soon as I was on the Phone with Bobby, I was like this is someone who generally knows what he is talking about and knew what would work best for my specific needs and what else can I say except what a Bang on choice I had made!

From start to finish it felt like a breeze, Had Scaffolding up on a Wednesday, Installers came Thursday & Friday, then the Scaffolding came down a couple days later, Even my neighbours was like bloody hell that was fast!

Good communication on the handover so I can get up to speed on how the app and system works and I can already see my electricity use from the grid off my Smart Energy Meter reader is starting to save me money, so I am a Very Happy Customer.

We have had a wonderful experience with NxtGen Energy Ltd. From quotation through to installation the service has been slick and professional. The fact they can do the scaffolding and installation in house is a big asset and simplifies the job, no doubt adding savings aswell. The price for the job was very competitive compared with other quotations; but I am 100% sure the service was levels above what I would have received via any other contractor. Special thanks to Bobby Barnes for all his help and advice who project managed the job throughout and was very attentive and considerate.

To me the main issue was a high quality installation, and they delivered that.
I did my homework, shopped around, many competitors tried to put them down saying they are just a scaffolding company, but the results were excellent.
Try asking this company the really detailed questions about battery, inverter and panel combinations with logical strategy behind it, many floundered beyond the basic specs.
Bobby at NxtGen is in a different league, he has a thorough, detailed understanding of what you need. I trusted him and he delivered exactly what he said he would.
Add that to the install team who were polite, friendly, helpful and hard working, I am very happy with the results.

The installation on my garage roof was completed very efficiently by two teams from NXTGEN and is working better than expected. I am very happy with the price and the installation of the battery/ inverter in the garage. The fitters set up the app to monitor performance for me and explained how to isolate the system in the event of emergency. The office staff were also excellent at communication and sorted out various issues as they arose and promptly provided the handover pack and necessary certificates enabling me to apply for SEG payments in due course. In conclusion l recommend NXTGEN if you are looking for a Solar installer.

If your in the market for a Solar installation then I can really highly recommend Nxtgen.We researched the technology and got several quotes from other companies most of which were located much closer to us.
Nxtgen came out on top on price , specification and delivery.Once we made the decision to proceed the whole process took less than a week from placing the order to complete installation.The scaffold was erected at the front and back of our house on the Wednesday,on the Thursday the installation team arrived at 8.30 sharp , having driven from Essex to Oxfordshire, (which is about a 3 hour drive) and after a quick cup of tea the 3 chaps got straight to work, by the end of the day the whole system was in place and commissioned and up and running. To install 6 panels on front roof plus 6 panels on the back roof CW birdguard with the inverter and battery in the loft,They tidied up and left around 7 in the evening with another 3 HR drive in front of them I have to say they did a fantastic job , I take my hat off to them, they are a credit to Nxtgen.
Darren and Kelley from the Sales and admin team at Nxtgen are very helpful and accomodating and made the whole process very easy with prompt responses to any queries we have had along the way,although it's early days and the system only 2 days old the savings are already racking up.

I chose NxtGen to install our solar and battery system having received 12 quotes from various companies and couldn’t be happier with either the service or the resulting system.

I work in the renewables industry and so came to my own project with a reasonable amount of knowledge, not that I made that clear to any of the installers who called me back.

I had spoken with 7 installers by the time Stuart at NxtGen called me, and it was immediately obvious that I was speaking to someone knowledgeable, honest and who was genuinely interested in designing a system specific to my own needs and preferences.

Having reviewed all 12 quotes, NxtGen was jumped out above all others based on knowledge, helpfulness, quality of the kit being offered and even price. I wouldn’t have picked a quote based purely on price, but the fact NxtGen was also the most competitive of the 12 I had received meant a great deal.

I was kept informed throughout the whole process, Stuart responding quickly and usefully to all my email queries. Once contracts had been signed, Kelly picked up the baton and gave me regular updates on our DNO notification, all the way through to the installation.

With DNO approval in hand, we waited just 10 days for the scaffolding to be put up, which was done within a couple of hours and to a very high standard. Plenty of care was taken to protect our new patio, and I was left confident in a job well done.

Installation happened just a few days later, and again, it couldn’t have gone any smoother. The 3 installers were all helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and keen to do a good job. The work has been completed to a very high standard, with all wiring very neatly finished and the panels tightly aligned to the exact centre of our roof. The inverter and batteries were also installed incredibly neatly, with all cables hidden. The installers did a great job tidying up on the day and the left us with nothing other than a very positive experience.

I was genuinely hopeful that the brilliant first impression I got when I spoke with Stuart would be reflected throughout the entire install, and so I’m beyond delighted that proved to very much be the case.

Stuart, Kelly, the scaffolders and the installers should take a great deal of pride in being part of such an excellent team.
