Some of the information was helpful but...

Some of the information was helpful. But the course never felt as if I was being trained or taught and frankly I learned better from a udemy $10 class than this one.
As far as photo reviews go. I got suspicious that they were just passing everyone, so I sent an intentionally bad photo for review, and while the"instructor" did give a couple of critiques I still received a high grade and was passed along. It's a slide show at heart. You can do better buying a $30 book.

Online Photography learning at NYIP

I have been learning photography with NYIP for a year. Indeed the way they have set up their learning website, I always find it so easy to read and understand everything without much help! The words and English language used is so simple to understand. I love the way they use so many different professional tutors to give students photography guidance and experience. That makes anyone love learning photography online. I do recommend anyone who wants to do photography as a hobby or professional to join New York Institute of Photography. The fee is also quite reasonable compared to the knowledge we acquire. Titus-student

NYIP is a great structured way to learn

NYIP is a great course when you start from scratch and you want a structured learning plan. It didn't feel that this is all I need to become a great photographer, but it sets you up to ask the right questions and for me, encouraged me to do some additional research and practicing sessions beyond the course. The course comes with a great, big and helpful community of current and ex students to help you out and depending on wich mentor checks your work at the end of each chapter, you can get some really helpful feedback. I am glad I chose this method of Learning.

First of all the website was well put together making taking the course fun. Very well laid out I didnt feel like I had to search for what I was looking for.
I loved having an instructor go over my assignments (submitted photos) it was great listening to them not just reading what they say. I loved talking this course and plan on talking more from NYIP in the future

The NYIP took me from a amateur photographer to a professional one. After this course I was able to take something I really enjoyed doing into something I loved doing and got paid too. The instructors were honestly helpful and the course was well laid out and built upon basic concepts into more advanced. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their skill in the art of photography.
