Great service and fast

Great service and fast, I paid my loan off after a couple of days as I had some extra money from work and thought it was the right thing to do, comes to today, and I'm unable to re apply despite paying my last loan off after a few days slightly annoying!!

To prevent people from falling into harmful patterns of borrowing (where a customer becomes reliant on a new loan immediately after repaying their past one), we have a cooling off period in between loans. This cooling off period is currently 30 days. After this time customers can reapply for a new loan. Trying to change to monthly instalments…

Trying to change to monthly instalments has cost me over 30 mins on the phone to get no where and all I was asking was change my payment date from weekly to monthly as in the app it didn't offer this and the last lone I had they did monthly payments.

The people you speak to are rude well the guy I just spoke to was his name was Larry. Proper rude and didn't listen when I said I don't have long on the phone, his response was well I don't like the sounds of this. I don't have time to go trough all the details again and again. Now oakham why are you asking to have my reviews removed, are you trying to hide what I have experienced?? I'm not lieing. I've made a complaint what I've had absolutely no response from any mangers from your company but yet you ask Trust pilot to remove my last review.

If you remove my review again when it is a genuine review I will look into this further. I have refused to pay untill I receive a call of you.

So Oakham call me. As if you remove this review I will look into taking you to court as you have mis sold me a loan!

Cody – we’re sorry you’ve had this experience. We replied to your original review and tried to contact you to get more information. We flagged the review while we tried to make contact and because we didn’t hear back from you, the review was automatically removed from Trust Pilot.

We’ve listened back to the call you mention in your review and it seems that our agent didn’t make the best use of your limited time. We apologise for this. While you spoke to our customer agent for about 5 mins, we realise you might have been on hold before you spoke to an agent. We are currently experiencing high call volumes and we’re working on reducing our wait times on the phone down as much as possible. Most customers speak to an agent within a few minutes of calling.

We can see that you have now changed your payment frequency. We are working on making this a feature in the app soon so that customers can automatically make changes without calling. Thank you and again, our apologies that you didn’t have a good experience when you called. We hope you’ll continue to be an Oakam customer if you need access to affordable credit in the future.
