Oakley Wood have a large variety of wood flooring to suit every budget. Friendly and extremely helpful staff, have always been very pleased with the quality of flooring supplied. We have used them for a number of residential projects, would highly recommend.

I bought a Charlton's Furniture table from Oakley Wood Timber as they offered a good price compared to other retail outlets. In fact £300 cheaper than our local 'high end' showroom.
Unfortunately when it arrived from the manufacturer it was split, dented and poorly built.
Darren couldn't have been more helpful and offered a collection and refund/exchange immediately.
He resolved the issue direct with the manufacturer within 1 working day and everyone happy.
Highly recommended Oakley Wood.

Floor looks great! Darren and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Eddie the fitter did a great job, and when something wasn’t quite right he came back and fixed it with no problem. Would definitely recommend Oakley flooring. Great price too. Happy customer all round.

Very good communication and samples sent straight away.

Very pleased indeed with the product and the fitters (apart from the mess they left outside) but the admin/office side of things left an awful lot to be desired. Communication was poor and the request for an updated invoice fell on deaf ears. Paid for underlay but fitters used glue and Darren refused to clarify difference in cost. Have paid the invoice as frankly can't be bothered to deal with him any more. They held our deposit for two months and I had to chase Darren several times to get a fitting date. Would recommend the fitters but not the company because of the admin side of things and wouldn't use them again.

The whole process of getting a wood floor installed in the entirety of the downstairs of my house was made simple and straightforward thanks to oakley wood timber. Darren was very helpful with helping us pick a wood that would suit the space, in the end we went for the engineered finish wood. I was working to a relatively tight timeframe and wanted the wooden flooring fitted before I moved into the house, Darren and the fitters managed to make this happen and fitted the wood within 2 weeks of our initial contact. The people that turned up to fit the wood were very professional, friendly and did an excellent job. The wood has completely transformed the space and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone thinking of getting a wooden floor fitting. Professional, fast, friendly and a very reasonable price. Many thanks to everyone!

Fantastic service from Darren and the team at Oakley Wood. We made multiple trips, and as a typical consumer changed our minds multiple times. Changing the quotes was never too much trouble for Darren. They were very knowledgable and offered lots of advice to help us make our decision. Everything was held and delivered when the builder needed the doors on time. Can not recommend them enough!

Good showroom in Long Crendon. Takes the risk out of buying on line.Darren was very helpful with advice and was able to select the right flooring for my period property.

Ben and Eddie were a great team, easy to work with and happy to have them in the house. Was at work most days and happy to let them get on with it. Both worked very hard through the summer heatwave. No issues with moving heavy furniture around and always tidy at the end of the day. Hassle free. Good workmanship and very happy with result.

He organised the laying of a floor in Switzerland for me, making applications to the local authority for the relevant permissions and sending his fitter all the way out to our house in the mountains to get the job done.
The floor is magnificent and I would recommend him and his products wholeheartedly.
He definitely goes the extra mile (or 600...).

I waited just over a year to write this as I was so angry, We chose engineered oak flooring, in some of the planks the oak laminate had come away leaving the board underneath on show, also a lot of them didn’t fit together very well and left a gap between planks, some stand several millimetres above the other. We had two replaced which moved the floor slightly in the hall and a beading had to be put around the stair post to hide the gap made. When walking around the rooms the floor moves under foot and squeaks in several places.
The replacement skirting has gaps between wall and skirting really badly in places in each of the rooms. After coming to sort it only a couple of gaps were filled. I’ve given up on it now as it so much hassle trying to get it sorted to no avail.
Darren when asked to come out and look wasn’t interested.
A very small sum was reimbursed to us but nothing compared to what we payed and what we have to live with.
So so disappointed.

Darren at Oakley Wood Timber went above and beyond in customer service trying to locate the best hardwood floor for us and has a vast collection. He knew we were on a time crunch and kept us updated on progress. He really showed us as customers that he cared and had a lot of patience dealing with us! Thank you so much Darren we totally appreciate all your help and will ensure when we talk to any of our friends and families doing remodels to go to your store first! If it was possible to enter more than 5 stars I would have!
