A lovely company to sell my home with!
Super easy to use their website and a fraction of the price of estate agent fees!

Terrible : person is uncontactable to sort mistakes out and set up - find another alternative

The company does not really exist, its taking money but not providing the services "sold" then once money is taken it becomes impossible to contact them. And they won't cancel your subscription. So contact your payment provider.

Great platform for selling your own house in the UK! Bypassing estate agents., but still use Rightmove/Zoopla .was so easy, and the guy’s services made everything smooth. Highly recommend!

Overall a positive experience. I was able to sell my property very quickly, and communicate directly with prospetive buyers. It also saved me thousands in agent fees.

On the face of it, the idea is a sound one, but there are areas where they could execute better... i.e. adjustments to listings can take days rather than instantaneously and responses to emails can also be slow. My opinion is that its still very much in its infancy, and could be greatly improved through automation (I could be wrong, but it feels very manually managed right now).

I would recommend this service to anyone who is selling a high spec, desirable property as ultimately its the house that sells itself, not the agent or the platform. A mid tier property could be on the market for a considerable amount of time, and the burden of a self sale could become prohibitive.

All in all, i would definetly use again!

We paid for a “developer package” which included 5 listings, we notified offagent four times, that four of the listings were missing off Zoopla and its various distribution sites. If you are unable to fulfill the service you advertise then you should refund the customer (in full) . Disappointing . To confirm we are not an estate agent we were the developer . Hence why we purchased the developer package . Thanks

Dougal Hutley appears to be running this business from his bedroom in his spare time. Awful service with incompetence from day one. Took 3 months to arrange floorplans and even then got them completely wrong. Doesn't pass on enquiries from buyers, answers emails sporadically and uses Ai to write them for him. Keeps on billing the credit card despite clear instructions to cancel subscription. Promised to refund the subscription but never processed it. Have had to raise a charge back with the credit card company. AVOID!

Easy to get advertised. Dougal was helpful, friendly and responsive.

I highly recommend Offagent.
It’s a brilliant idea to connect sellers directly with major property platforms such as Zoopla and Rightmove, without the need to use expensive high street agencies.

I have used Offagent several times already, and each time I saved a significant amount of money compared to traditional estate agents — with exactly the same exposure for my properties.

I would especially like to recommend Dougal, who has been extremely helpful throughout the process. He even provided me with his personal mobile number, which means I always had fast and direct contact whenever I needed support.

Very professional service, great communication, and excellent value for money.
I will definitely continue using Offagent and would recommend it to anyone selling property in the UK.

Apalling. I have reported to trading standards and the the property ombudsman. I asked to cancel the plan, I wrote several emails as I was unable to log into the site (which doesn't work most of the time). They continue to advertise my property without my consent and continue to take my money. I have raised this with the bank as they are completely unresponsive. I am not alone in experiencing this sort of behavior. DO NOT USE!!!!

Dougal is quick to take your money but when you try to close your account he becomes very silent and the money continues to go out of your account. I’ve closed my account correctly and requested a refund 3 times directly emailing Dougal. I shall now go to my bank to stop the payments. Please be wary of this.

Really easy to navigate and post was on the portals pretty much immediately.

I had an issue with uploading an image and the support was great. Sorted within the hour.

OffAgent is run by a chap called Dougal. Despite my whole-hearted support and encouragement of his business at first, it has become very evident that the service provided and his attitude to conducting his business with integrity is woefully lacking.
He failed to list our home for sale within a reasonable period, so we eventually decided to pull the plug and use someone else. He agreed to this in an e-mail -
"Please accept my sincerest apologies for the issues you've experienced with your listing and the significant delays you've encountered. I understand your frustration and disappointment, especially given the urgency you expressed in getting your property marketed. I am truly sorry that we have let you down in this instance.
I can confirm that we will process a full refund of (your money) to your card immediately.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and the poor experience you've had."
That was a month ago. No return of money was forthcoming. He has since taken more money from my card as he had not closed down the original order so he now owes us twice as much. I spoke with him on the phone but he now appears unrepentant! He's now not communicating at all so I imagine that they might be about to go under. RIP OffAgent

Paid for the service three times in one night to sell a property and create a listing. Used different payment methods because I thought it might be a problem with my card. Even after paying there was no ability to create a listing, no support via the 24/7 whatapp. Complete waste of time and now I am waiting for a refund.

I really hope these guys succeed - the property market is for both buyers and sellers is a minefield, and this platform could bring some real efficiencies.
I listed my property, and it was live on the major platforms within a day or two - result! However, I had to contact support first - their self service portal seems _very_ flakey, kept taking me back to the home page when I tried to view my property. That got fixed, but came back again.
Given estate agents' fees, Offagent is amazing value for people who can take good photos and write a decent description. When it worked, I found it intuitive and easy to use - but basic bugs let it down.

Very good value, gets you on all the platforms quickly without needing to use an agent, and it's all self serve. When we needed assistance, support was very speedy

We have taken a bit of a risk going with offagent but so far have found it to be mostly good, the website isn't perfect but maybe to be expected from a new business. We had our first viewing today so fingers crossed.

I couldn't be more pleased with using OffAgent to sell my flat. I was doubtful to start with, part of me felt it was too good to be true but i am 100 % satisfied. THANK YOU.

An awful company, not fit to to deal with.

You upload your property online with them and making alterations has taken 5 days to request and is still marked as 'pending and never gets updated on all the major portals for selling a house. No place to upload an EPC, viewings take days to come through and when they do they go to your email in bulk and not on the property portal.

Run on a shoe-string outfit.

The owner, Dougal Hutle,y called me yesterday and admitted he is a start up company struggling with funding and agreed with my frustrations. Told him to refund me, but still ignored, still no updated property.

Total game changer - imagine this is going to really shake up the real estate industry. Minimal cost, didn’t think much about it and then sold my house though it in under a month, saved a small fortune. Thanks guys!
