A joke

One of the most useless authorities ever. Their price cap is absurdly high even though gas prices have fallen drastically. They even increased the cap for winter, which is obviously the most challenging period for households, are they stupid or just corrupted? Maybe both.

Well

Well, once again, the government are favouring. The stupid electric companpeople are struggling to make ends meet Because the government don't want them to enjoy yourself The quicker they are out the better I am really cross with this company because at the end of the day the customer is getting penalised when the government tells us we re out to help you. It is a load of rubbish and all the government are trying to do is penalise. The british people absolutely disgusting company if I had somebody to report of gem to I would do. Telling people they re going to put the electric prices up. Because the electric companies need more money. I they're not happy with the billions of pounds. They are making absolutely ridiculous.

Con artists , allow gas & electric companies to make record breaking profits whilst allowing the public to suffer & go hungry . Also allow them to charge a standing daily charge even if you use no gas or electric

This ofgem crowd are not for UK public…

This ofgem crowd are not for UK public they are ripping us of utility company's must be laughing up there sleeves about getting support from a public company. The next is to charge us £16.00 for bad debt I do understand what a lot of people must be going through so ofgem in there great wisdom suggests other customers should help out utility company's even thought there their profits are skyhigh what a bunch of scammers are we not entitled to our point on this matter.

Get rid at once

This Quango needs to be disbanded. Considering Ofgem was initially installed as a consumer protection agency, they have become the complete opposite, siding with the greedy utility companies, making electricity and gas a luxury for far too many. I would love to know the amounts of bribes Ofgem big wigs have received over the years. There can be no other explanation, looking at how nauseatingly Ofgem are a lickspittle of the utility industry. They should hang their heads in shame, unfortunately, I believe that lot is completely shameless.

Absolutely useless and corrupt…

Absolutely useless and corrupt organisation which is devoted to the energy sector and its vested interests, not the poorest and most vulnerable financially and physically suffering while untaxed profits skyrocket.

Corrupt or incompetent

OfGem simply refuse to do their jobs. Their decision to (yet again) raise the price cap is obscene. At this point, they are either incompetent or corrupt and should be replaced with a body that actually supports the public.

Corrupt

Corrupt. Siding by greedy utility companies rather than the public that they are meant to protect. No wonder one of their senior executives recently left stating the high level of "corruption" was decisive in her moral decision to get away from the stinking cess pit.

Corruption

Corrupt and actively working against the public to allow their employers to rob us blind. Just like the energy ombudsman both these organizations are funded by the energy companies. They are not impartial and never will be so long as they are both bought and paid for by the energy companies they are meant to regulate. Enemies of the people and not fit for purpose at all

Ofcon more like !…

Funny how that when the price of wholesale fuel goes down we're told the reduction in bills will take time to filter through to the customer because the fuel is purchased in advance but when it increases the effect is almost immediate, what a load of tosh Ofgem is along with all the other government bodies !

What an absolute disgrace Ofgem are

What an absolute disgrace Ofgem are, their failure to look after the consumer during these times is appalling. I don't doubt the big companies could have survived without their extra 5% on prices and of course lets not forget the immoral standing charges. Then there is the VAT which is also a disgrace, hardly a luxury item is it!

Not very clever what idiot decided there should be a price cap ? about as useless as the smart meter and as for increasing the standing charge which helps pay for those dumb meters and the costs to cover failed power suppliers Electricity and Gas unit cost should be scaled according to consumption that would have been aa better idea and your bill would show you what you were using SIMPLE My gas standing charge is 10 x my useage and half my electricity I dont get anywhere near the cap but control my needs as pensioner the monthly billtells it all

Ofgem a group that's supposed to be…

Ofgem a group that's supposed to be independent from the energy companies and look after the consumer. But it seems like the rule book has been written by Stanley Unwin as they care more for the energy companies and less about the consumer. Wondering what percentage of profits the staff of the group get from the shareholder profits.
