Fake independent comparison site promoting its own businesses
This is a supposedly independent comparison website that, based on my extensive technical investigation, is operated by the same people behind JuicySearch.
The site claims to independently compare 45 OnlyFans search engines. Remarkably, JuicySearch ranks number one, while two other websites associated with the same operators also appear in the top five.
Three of the top five positions, out of 45 competitors. What an extraordinary coincidence.
I have completed an exhaustive technical investigation into the connections between these websites. I am confident they are operated by the same people, and I have retained technical evidence to substantiate my findings.
The operators have gone to considerable lengths to conceal these connections, including using different hosting providers and technologies. However, those measures have not hidden the technical evidence linking the websites.
The comparison site also claims that anonymity is necessary to protect its reviewers. In my view, this is a convenient explanation for concealing the commercial interests behind what is presented as an independent review service.
The problem is not promoting your own websites. The problem is pretending that the recommendations are independent when you are effectively recommending yourself.
Under the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC), misleading consumers through deceptive presentation or withholding material commercial information can constitute an unlawful commercial practice.
I was going to force JuicySearch to take it down... but.... it's funnier to see it stay live, so I hope they keep it up so their shame can be seen by all.
Consumers deserve genuine comparisons, not what appears to be a carefully constructed advertising exercise disguised as independent advice.
If a comparison website gives three of its own associated businesses the top five positions, readers are entitled to question the credibility of every ranking it publishes.
