I've been a member of Ohmify for over a year and I am glad that I joined. Even though I've worked professionally in a technical field for many years, it did not required me to have a background in electronics. However, I have always been interested in the field and, as a consequence, have recently decided to make it a serious hobby. Ohmify provides a good source of training material to get you started in the field, but the thing I like the most is the option to submit a question regarding a problem you might be having with your project and getting an answer back within a relatively short time frame. This is very useful to me because since I am basically self taught, I do not have the option to ask an instructor to help clarify a particular concept or even help on how to pursue a solution. Having an Ohmify subscription helps to address this issue. I would recommend that anyone that's interested in electronics should join Ohmify. It does require some time and effort on your part to really get a good understanding of electronics, but having an Ohmify subscription does help to ease the pain somewhat.

The lessons are well put together and easy to follow. The community is engaged and questions are answered in a timely manner.

This is a good spot to begin learning or continuing to learn about electronics. There are lessons about multiple topics at multiple learning levels, tools to help with your projects and learning, and focused information about specialty areas of elcectronics.

It is a good way to get into electronics as a begginer and shows step by step ways to do it.

Ohmify is a great site for learning electronics from the ground up. Ohmify's creator, Oyvind, is very knowledgeable and has created many interesting courses and projects. He will enable you to learn some simple theory then put it into practice by building real circuits. I particularly enjoyed the course that taught how to create printed circuit boards. This covered how to draw the schematic, lay out and order the board, order the parts and solder the parts to the board. It was really exceptional. After joining Ohmify, I was pleasantly surprised that Oyvind responds to ALL questions, usually within 24 hours. The Ohmify community is also very supportive and friendly. It's very interesting to see what people build. I highly recommend Ohmify to all who want to learn electronics.

Ohmify has a great range of amazing resources to help learn electronics, as well as lots of great projects and support from a community of like-minded enthusiasts. Good value for money.

I have been a subscribing (monthly payments, looking into yearly soon, or permanent), member. I do not have as much personal time as I would like to actively post and engage with other website members, but I do make sure to keep showing up every month as often as I can to at least read up on material, and work on the simple circuits and help formulate ideas for some actual projects that will improve my personal hobbies. I have already powered my entire computer, gaming, and home built diy surround sound system with solar power and a slightly modified APC brand UPS system as the inverter... that is something that I actually intend to post shortly as a large accomplishment as it had been my biggest project of purely personal interest. And there is oh so much more that I cannot wait to actually do for practical and not just practice at home use. If you have always wanted to take a college or university level (or even the barebones basics) course into your life, but simply do not have the time or financial structure to fit that into your lifestyle, both the pace and price of Ohmify is for you! I wish I hadn't mulled on it as long as I had. I have read naysayers posts on random online forums, but this actually is the real deal. You can personally interact with the site creator and owner for exact and in depth assistance, it's what he does every day.

No need to keep thinking as the price range is set for literally everyone. Free movie and music downloads and YouTube have set a strange new mindset in people. Just because something online based has a price, and low at that, does not mean that there is in any way a catch. To make something like this work, there are employees to pay, server fees and hosting costs, whether you run it yourself and maintain it yourself or not, and we all need to eat, Ohmify does not build that type of robot (yet...)

SO, come on in people and unleash your inner electro wizardry! Learning is fun when it's useful to you. Become your own tech support, save that money and use it where it counts. ....... and yes I write/type a lot, sorry for the long read :)

Initially I was reluctant to pay a subscription price for electronics information that could be found on the web for free. But after literally years of receiving Ohmify's newsletters I decided to try it for a month. Before I knew it, I was asking to upgrade my account to an annual membership (which was accommodated).

The thing is, while all that information is out there, it can be overwhelming to know where to start, how to progress, and who to ask questions when you get stuck. As an Ohmify member, I can take advantage of a suggested learning path, and veer off when I want to dive deeper into a subject. My questions have all been answered in a timely manner, and the camaraderie in the member community is fantastic.

As a dad and a working professional, the time I have for hobbies is limited. Being a part Ohmify has made it easier to stay focused, build on what I've learned, and get more satisfaction out of the time I’m able to carve out for tinkering.

Ohmify is a very helpful website and organization, the content is very educational. The forums are great and the classes are very helpful. Oyvind is very responsive to queries and takes a very personal involvement with all its members.

For the first time I found a place where electronics is explained in a really accessible, clear and fun way. Besides that the community is of great help when I'm stuck in one of my electronics projects. I would really recommend Ohmify!

I have now been a Ohmify-member for almost two years and I find it very inspiring, in addition to being a great resource when I get stuck on my projects. It gives me the confidence to take on bigger projects than I otherwise would have entered.
I also like the personal and friendly atmosphere in the Ohmify-community.

This website has introduced me to products and circuits with exciting challenges. It is easy to spend a little time researching a subject of interest and receive a lead or payoff of another kind. Ohmify is driven by a young electronics enthusiast and excellent at explaining things simply. He is assiduous in the support provided to the members, answering quickly any questions asked in the various forums, whether they are projects, technical questions, measurement tools, computer tools... Follow-up with all members on a weekly basis or at specific workshops is ongoing. It also seeks to meet the needs of members and always seeks new and interesting ideas for courses or workshops. Two thumbs up Oyvind !!

Ohmify does a great job of explaining the concepts at a level that keeps my kids (15-12 years) interested but is also detailed enough to keep an adult interested as well.

The Ohmify Members website is full of projects and exercises which will help you to understand electronics, circuit design, and even PCB design and manufacture. Within the worldwide team of members there is usually someone who has tried your chosen project before, and will give you help and guidance in the very popular Community Forums. For the complete beginners there is a series of easy to follow tutorials with practical projects to test your progress. If you are an expert or a total beginner I recommend this valuable resource.

Ohmify is truely a great platform where individuals can and are gaining a tremendous amount of understanding and valuable experiences in electronic and circuit building. The site provides information that is easy to understand in small doses followed by hands on projects. There is also a discussion platform where members can discuss a wealth of of things like projects created, different ways of approaching projects or understanding concepts, interacting with host of website for clarification on concepts, ideas and projects and etc. Also the best part is that you are learning at your own leisure. This is extremely accommodating especially if you work or have a family. The site is not tailor to one age group thus any age group who is able, ready and interested.

This is definitely the place to get your questions answered while learning electronics. There are little mini courses. Other peoples projects to follow along through. And helpful people to talk to.
