The art itself is masterful and dynamic. Finally, the care taken with shipping was incredible, building a brace on a palate for the large box to ensure shipping and delivery went smoothly. My husband became familiar with the work of Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun, a renowned French portrait artist, several years ago. He especially liked the portrait of her daughter Julie Le Brun Looking in a Mirror. On a trip to New York last fall, we visited The Met Fifth Avenue and viewed the portrait in person. Stunned at the quality and service. I've had original artwork professionally framed locally so when I ordered a piece of art from OilPaintings.com I was skeptical of the quality of their frames. When I received it, I was stunned at the quality of the framing, far exceeding the work I have had done locally at half the price.
