Wonderful representation of Fredric Remington masterpiece painted in 1889. My neighbors and family loved this piece of art. It is proudly displayed over my fireplace/mantle in 30x40 format. I recently moved into a former Monastery that had been converted into 80 Condominiums. In designing my new home, I accented the building's history and sought religious artwork accordingly. In particular, I wanted a 48" x 36" reproduction of a complex Fra Angelico piece ("Christ Glorified in Heaven") that contained close to 50 different figures. After checking out several reproduction websites, I settled on oilpaintings.com for the best quality and value from what I could discern. I ordered four paintings done by three different original artists. Two by Francois Boucher in a custom size that came out beautifully by taking into consideration the different dimensions I asked for. I also ordered one painting by Jean-Honore Fragonard and one painting by Marguerite Gerard. I asked Lowell to make the dress colors in the two paintings as a similar color and that the carpet and cushion on the chair should have the same color scheme. All of that custom -made. All that was done perfectly! My big thank you to Lowell and the artists who made these wonderful reproductions for me. They are beautiful and I enjoy them very much. And... since my husband and I was so happy with our first order, we order four more paintings !

Was a bit leery of ordering an oil painting, sight unseen, online, but the reviews convinced us to take a chance, so we ordered a medium sized one to "test" it out. Thought it would take at least four weeks and were eagerly awaiting its arrival, so we could order another "wish list" item that was much larger, if it was as good as we hoped. It showed up three weeks later, a little earlier than expected. We were a bit nervous at the final results, but once we opened the box, we were completely amazed at how fantastic the painting looked - it was nearly exactly as the original and more than met our expectations. We immediately ordered the larger painting, a 6' x 4' Albert Bierstadt landscape that wasn't listed on the website, adding a minor customization to it, and requesting the same painter. Working with Lowell on this custom order was a great experience, he was more than willing to ensure we were completely satisfied. We just received this second painting and once again, we're blown away by the quality - and the size! I would highly recommend OilPaintings.com to anyone who likes the art museum feel of real oil paintings at a great price. Two last comments: we almost never write reviews, but we're so excited about these paintings that we felt we owed it to others who are skeptical as we were to give this a try and be equally amazed; and we're preparing to order four more paintings to complete a new addition to our home.
