Gorgeous experience ! Magical meetings with animals, nice staff, good equipments ... Perfect trip to discover Botswana ! We left Botswana with wonderful memories !!

We had a great trip. We were a family of four including at 21 and 18 year old. Our guide was Paul and he was very experienced and responsive. We were up driving early every morning and we saw all the "standard" animals except a rhino. We did see wild dogs and a pangolin.

What an experience made memorable by Morgan and “snake” the chef who expertly created meals on an open fire with effortless ease.
As a first timer to the reserve roads and long hours of travel I take my hat off to Morgan whose concentration and driving expertise was top class.
Thanks to friends and crew for all the assistance given in helping to have this wonderful experience and giving just a taste of the the beautiful and vast delta region

This was our first experience of a mobile safari and it was Fantastic and Memorable .Our guide , Morgan and chef , Noga are the two most Special and Amazing people . They went out of their way to ensure we would not forget Botswana and the safari . Everything about the trip was Exceptional , from the Reserves visited , the overnight camps , the driving and game viewing , food and just to be a part of the African bush will remain with us forever .It is a well drilled and geared team of people ,who have their client's interests at heart and want them to leave Botswana wanting to return .

We were a group of nine friends aged between 30 and 72 on the 7 day participatory mobile called Botswana Adventurer in June 2019. We were very grateful for the comprehensive fact sheet provided and so we knew in advance it would be a fast paced exhausting but exhilarating safari through the most beautiful parts of Chobe, Savuti, Khwai, Moremi and Makgadikadi. All agreed that it was an excellent idea to leave our cars in Kasane and let professional guide Morgan do all the driving in the strong, well equipped safari vehicle. We were also thrilled to find an affordable mobile safari which provided food and camping equipment as well. Noga/Snake the chef provided excellent and innovative dishes every day. From banana & chocolate "mokoro's" to freshly baked bread, each meal was eagerly looked forward to. The participation part was easy and fun providing lots of laughs every day as we put up/took down our tents and helped wash the dishes. As MD Clint said to us in Maun, the more teamwork there is the more fun is had by all. Safety in camp and during "comfort stops" was excellent too. Highlights were the night on the pans, the delicious food, Morgan's wonderful personality and of course the amazing sightings. Low water levels meant a longer than usual drive to the mokoro spot and the scenic flight over the Okavango Delta was worth the extra expense. Booking this type of safari instead of the lodges was a huge leap of faith for us. However it was really worth it especially for those of us on their first trip to northern Botswana. We agreed that this is the best way to see so many pristine areas without having to pay top dollar prices. There cant be many places in the world where one can stay in a protected wildlife environment where the only way of knowing where you will spend the night is a number on a tree and you even have to bury your ash from the fire before setting off each morning. Okavango Expeditions are masters of mobiles as it is abundantly clear that they have been doing this for years. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable experience!

I spent a wonderful time with Okavango Expeditions team. Guides were very good, and so was the backup team. They did all they could so that we had a memorable experience. Time spent among wildlife was breathtaking. Sound knowledge of the guides and a good sense of humour, which I particularly enjoyed. Tents are comfortable, and I don't think I would have enjoyed this trip as much as I did, if staying in a lodge. This added some adventure to the experience. Nap time in the early afternoon felt a bit long to me (3h), as I'm the kind of person who needs to move, but was enjoyed by other members of the group. In my point of view, the safari experience could be improved by providing more info on conservation challenges and debriefing. Some group members would have also liked to spend time in villages/towns - I have mixe feelings on the topic, as all depends on how this is done, if respectful and on the demand of the local communities, why not. I also need to point that I was lucky enough to enjoy this trip before the government decided to lift the prohibition on elephant hunting. This ban was one of my reasons for choosing Botswana. All in all, I highly recommend this company who does its very best for its guests... and I have to admit that this can be very hard work.

Excellent organisation. We were wonderfully looked after by an excellent team. Our guide/driver was Morgan - excellent, discreet, knowledgeable, we felt very safe in his hands. The camp team looked after us with great care and discretion. The cook made wonderful meals with the simplest equipment. We saw so many animals, more than we could have dreamed of. Would definitely recommend Okavango Expeditions for the ideal way of visiting Botswana.

We had a wonderful trip with Okavango Expeditions through Chobe, Savuti and the Khwai Region of the Okavango Delta. Very comfortable tents with real beds and bathroom, a fantastic guide called Joe and amazing animal sightings, one of which a very long and intimate one with a beautiful leopard. The one star missing was the food, which could still improve.

I was beyond pleased with Okavango Expeditions, Sam and TH were such knowledgeable guides and made sure we had a great experience every day. The food was great, the tents were well maintained and everything was perfect. I would recommend to anyone, it was amazing!

My trip to the Moremi Delta was amazing. The guides (Sam and TH) and support crew made sure that everything went smoothly. The food was great, the accommodations very comfortable, and mother nature cooperated too with fabulous weather and animal sightings.

My trip with Okavango Expeditions was beyond my expectations! My guide, Sam, was so pleasant and so knowledgeable. And the food......so yummy and not what I expected since everything was prepared over a campfire! Loved camping in the bush. Beds were really comfy.

We had an absolutely fabulous camping expedition with Okavango in Botswana - couldn't fault them at all.

I have no hesitation in recommending Okavango Expeditions to fellow travellers - We have safaried many times in the past and can confidently say that our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the flora and fauna of the areas we visited and the country general. He was able to get us up very close to the animals and his persistence in tracking wildlife really paid off. We spent 10 nights under canvas out in the bush which was a wonderful experience and although we were exposed to the elements and all that nature has to offer, we felt safe and comfortable with our guide. The camp staff provided us with three delicious meals each day along with morning coffee and afternoon tea and cakes - how they achieve this on a camp fire and tin box oven I will never know !

We had a fantastic time in the bush! Actually, Sam our guide was one of the best guides in tracking animals I ever had! The team was very kind, hot showers when we liked, delecious food and a good bed in a good bed! No doubts, this is a wonderful experience!

Our guide and our cook were beyond excellent. Stellar people and masters at their trade. We enjoyed great food and saw an amazing variety of animals, including the rare and tough to find ones.
Logistically, everything worked fabulously. Instructions on where to help were easy to follow and not too overwhelming to still enjoy a good time and it felt like a true adventure.
What's seemingly a bit out of control is who the guests are. I highly recommend thoroughly vetting participants to ensure they are able and speak English to participate in a trip like that, as we had a somewhat autistic Russian child on the trip whose mother's English was poor at best and who, at times, caused danger and trouble to himself and sometimes to the group.
