I put into okx in the past 2 months time over $500 and was required to only put into the sight $140 to get rewarded and my reward scale stayed stuck on $125 and would not advance witch would of triggered the bones $90 it promised so okx are scammed me and lied to me

I saw an official OKX link on Google about a new user promotion and I decided to sign up. I went through the security process, deposited cash and made a trade. After nothing has happened, I reached out to support to inquire about the promotion and was told he was not aware of any promotions. After sharing the link and screenshot, then he informed me the promo was only for MENA regions. Then why they have the links up on US search results and without providing any context on the promo page?

I then inquire about the referral program, and was also told that they cannot link my account to any referrals.

Imagine yourself going through all these trouble just to get a response that they cannot help whatsoever. Now imagine if you got your crypto stuck in their platform and they told you they cannot help. Please do yourself a favor and avoid using this exchange.

OKX has achieved something I didn’t think was possible: a user experience so aggressively “secure” that it feels indistinguishable from being punished for trying to access my own money.

I’ve been procrastinating moving funds off OKX for a full year because every withdrawal turns into an obstacle course: prove wallet ownership, digital signature nonsense, Travel Rule paperwork, then email code plus phone code, and if your timing isn’t perfect it expires and tells you to start over from the beginning.

Security is supposed to protect customers, not exhaust them into surrender. This is the first platform where I honestly felt, “I would rather risk getting my crypto stolen somewhere else than deal with this level of cumbersome security again.” That’s not a compliment. It’s a warning.

If you enjoy repeating the same withdrawal process multiple times because the system times out, being forced into extra verifications for routine self-custody transfers, and generally feeling like the platform doesn’t trust you enough to let you leave—OKX is perfect. Everyone else: avoid.

I think it's just a joke. No clear communication, it feels like a scam

I always start with low amounts first to make sure I can go through the whole process of deposit and withdrawal with a new exchange. Thank GOD I did, because it saved me from losing a lot more.

I deposited $70 from my checking account. Two days later, I logged in and received a message telling me to sell my crypto to"payback" the $70 — claiming the money was never withdrawn from my bank.

But here's the thing: my checking account showed 5 separate $10 withdrawals to OKX — that′s $50 they already took.
Trying to resolve the issue, I deposited an additional $30 to cover what they claimed I owed. What happened next?They with drew the $30 from my checking account AND took $50 from my OKX balance.

Let's do the math:

--Total deposited: 80(50 + $30)
--Amount remaining in my account: $24
--Money missing: $56

Where did my money go? No explanation. No support. Just gone.

Bottom line: OKX took my money through confusing transactions, false claims, and double charges. This is not a legitimate exchange — it's a scam operation.

Thank GOD it was only $56 lost. Imagine if I had trusted them with thousands.

Do yourself a favor: stay far away from OKX. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Extremely disappointed with OKX. I’ve been unable to withdraw my own funds due to repeated MFA errors, and support has been useless. I contacted them over a week ago and all I get is ‘be patient’ with no real solution or timeline. It’s unacceptable for a platform handling people’s money to leave users stuck like this. This experience has destroyed my trust in their service. I can’t recommend OKX to anyone until they fix these issues.

I had a serious issue with the OKX mobile app where a withdrawal consistently failed on app but worked on web. Instead of acknowledging a possible app-side defect, support immediately defaulted to denial because they couldn’t reproduce it internally.

From there, the experience went downhill fast.
I was repeatedly asked to generate and upload app logs, effectively turning me into unpaid QA, while being told upfront that no compensation would be considered under any circumstances, even if the issue was confirmed. Time spent, effort, and cooperation from the customer are treated as worthless.

Worse, the tone from support was dismissive and borderline hostile. The stance was essentially: “Give us logs or we do nothing — and don’t expect anything in return.” That is not customer support; that’s outsourcing internal engineering failures to users.

To be clear:
The issue was never resolved on the app
No responsibility was taken
No goodwill was shown
The case was stonewalled unless I continued to cooperate for free

When I escalated appropriately, I was lectured about “scope” rather than helped. The message was clear: compliance theater over actual problem-solving.

I ultimately withdrew my funds and closed my account. It’s a pity, because OKX is one of the few platforms in Europe supporting Pi Network properly — but platform coverage does not excuse poor conduct, arrogance, or zero customer respect.

If you value accountability, transparency, or basic professionalism, think twice. Once something goes wrong, you’re on your own.

Could not get help verifying my Identity. Turned in multiple tickets and they just keep telling me to try again in better lighting. Gee thanks, cause i hadnt tried that already...smh

this is the exact response sent to my email and it doesnt help you in any way. This is why I bothered to do a review so others dont waste their time like I did....LOL. Ridiculous

I was referred by a friend. I used their referral. It apparently did not link to my account. I provided OKX the information about my friend proving the referral They refuse to accept it and won't provide the referral bonus.

Edit: OKX in their reply is asking me to reach out to check something, but it is clear in my review that I have already taken this step unsuccessfully. Their reply further indicates their incompetence in resolving the issue.

Signed up following a promotion they were running. As they failed to actually link my created account to the promotion, following all their links I have zero trust with them being a safe place to put actual money.

Very bad service

I have been stuck in a P2P dispute for almost a week and the OKX support team is extremely slow. It takes them 2 days to reply each message, and every time they ask for new proof without checking the case seriously.

I did everything they requested: video proof, screenshots, bank statements, and Revolut confirmation.
Still, no solution, no clear update, and my money is frozen.

The buter sent the payment through Airwallex, which is not even a real bank, and OKX still hasn’t resolved the case. This delay is unacceptable and very stressful. I expected a professional and faster support team, but the experience has been very disappointing.

I hope OKX improves the dispute resolution process and protects users more effectively.

dont use their p2p system my ads were already approved due to business work i couldnt trade on p2p they didnt send me email and just disabled the ads and say you are not allowed when i talk to support they say your region is not allowed what a foolish people if my region is not allowed then why my ads were active . With draw fees in UAE for 1Dhs or 1000 dhs is 75 Dhs.
Buy and Sell Difference is more than 30 pips at any given time.

Despite the gravity of this situation, OKX has shown a shocking lack of accountability. Over the past two years, I have submitted more than 3,000 emails, including detailed documentation, police reports, and evidence of the scam. Yet, I have received nothing but generic, automated responses—empty platitudes that do not address the substance of my case. There has been no meaningful investigation, no follow-up, and no indication that OKX takes this matter seriously.

It is deeply troubling that a platform of OKX’s scale and reputation would allow itself to be used as a tool by criminal actors and then completely ignore the victims. The absence of any proactive measures, warnings, or support for affected users raises serious questions about the platform’s internal controls and ethical standards. At times, it has felt as though I was speaking not to a customer support team, but to the very scammers who defrauded me.

To OKX customer service: please refrain from sending another hollow, automated message in response to this complaint. You have had two years to act—and you have failed. Your inaction speaks volumes about how little you value user protection and human rights.

To anyone reading this: be warned. My experience with OKX has been one of negligence, disarray, and injustice. If you fall victim to a scam on this platform, do not expect help, accountability, or even basic human decency. You will be on your own.

I had an issue, and instead of actually looking into the situation, OKX immediately restricted my participation in a promotion. I reached out several times asking for clarification, but I never received a clear or meaningful explanation — only vague, generic responses that didn’t address anything. Support simply told me that my account “does not meet the requirements,” but refused to provide any details.

I've used OKX to receive my payment from a gig yesterday November 14. And I am so delighted that the transaction was smooth and fast, the conversion was also quick.

Suddenly they decided its a good idea to send an email regarding each delisting, with no option to unsubscribe.

It may sound banal, but to withdraw your own money you basically have to go through all the circles of Hell. The ridiculous Satoshi test is implemented horribly: the site simply refuses to recognize the destination wallet that you’re required to confirm in the exchange’s own Safari extension, and it keeps throwing an error saying the wrong wallet is connected. Before that, any wallet address I entered for withdrawal was automatically flagged as “high-risk, please choose another one.” And that was my damn wallet address!

You might think: “Well, just enter a different address and that’s it.”
Nope. Not at all. They completely blocked my withdrawals. Do you think support responded? Of course not.

So if you enjoy problems—go ahead and register on that exchange.
