ORL Garden Centre Reviews 

Item took 3.5 weeks to arrive, was then the wrong item (right sku code) so wrong labelling or system error. Excuses made, parcel collected took 12 days to process return. No communication was offered- nothing to say when parcel would arrive or when return would be processed etc- I had to chase for information at every turn. Just an amateur set up.

Plants arrived healthy and well packaged. There's a wide choice of plants on the website which made it so difficult to choose but the plant descriptions (e.g. showing size when mature) really helps - I wanted honeysuckle which wasn't going to get too large
(I ordered rhubarb & custard and strawberries & cream)

What a joy! I found a monstera Thai constellation on their website at an amazing price so called to ask a few questions. Had a lovely chat full of giggling and laughing. Went to order but the delivery cost was very high so decided to drive in. 1,5h one way but honestly so worth it. This garden centre was beautiful, clean, all very neatly organised and with very pretty Mothers day displays. All plants were in an amazing condition, not overwatered and pests free (I like to check that before buying). The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, helpful and just lovely to chat to. I now have my wishlist plant and quite frankly I would happily drive all the way back just to have a walk around the shop!

On the website it says express delivery is available taking one to two days so I ordered, confident my parcel would arrive on time. It took three days. I was refunded half the shipping cost. This would not have been so bad if the order had been correct. One item was substituted without even being mentioned. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Ordered some items for home delivery. Evri did not manage to deliver the items (not really orl's fault) in express delivery timescales. No hassle with express cost refund. Items were well packaged and as described at a fair price. Would recommend.

Useless
I ordered two toys for a child's birthday a week ago. Needed them quite urgently. Noticed on their website that a few things showed an image of one thing and then detailed something completely different such as a big box of lindor chocolates labelled as a £1 37gm item. I ordered the toys, paid for delivery and noted on my form that I had wanted chocolates but believed their goods were incorrectly labelled.
Any logical thinking human being would send the goods ordered and then possibly drop in a note about the chocolates or send a quick email. What did this company do.... ah yes, ignore the order for the children's toys because hey that wouldn't be at all urgent this time of year and sent an email about the things I didn't order.
A week later I emailed them, with what is going on. HHEEELLLPP. Their reply, ah yes we did try and email you asking about the unwanted and unordered chocolates...and by the way, we didn't send you the toys you actually did order. Can you honestly tell me that these are the actions of a quality company?

Ordered a resin sleeping cat for my parents garden…. Was a quick delivery and a great quality item. Wish I lived closer so I could have a good look around!

Ordered 3 Vivid Art figures as they had them all in stock while other stores didn't. They arrived safely in 3 days, swift & safe! Very well packed in re-used packaging that had taken quite a bit of effort. It's wonderful that someone else cuts down & re-purposes boxes other than me! Thank you Old Railway Line Garden Centre & staff I'm impressed & really happy with my purchases too.

Excellent service, plants arrived in good condition and very well packaged. Ordered late pm 12th March, delivered am 16th March.

I placed an order for garden furniture and received excellent customer service from start to finish. I was kept updated throughout the order and the goods were delivered much quicker than I had expected. I would definitely recommend using the ORL Garden Centre.

During this covid/Christmas season. I do not expect much replies from garden centres. But this company is really good specially Liam.

I requested for a call back if the plant is available. I requested a reply on email of the photos and all done.

What a lovely business. I found them by accident after originally looking at Easy Nets on Amazon who 1. Increased the price and 2. Were out of stock. How lucky for me as I googled easy nets and found The Old Railway line. Great products at a very good price and outstanding service. I was delighted with the service when I place my order and when my order arrived.

I ordered 12 bags of decorative bark,I ordered them on Sunday 17th May and they arrived on Wednesday 20th.I live in West Yorkshire,due to the lockdown I could not find a supplier to deliver.The delivery driver rang me yesterday,to arrange delivery.This garden centre,had a lot of 5star reviews,so I felt confident there would be no problems.Keep up the good work,wish I lived nearer to you.
