High-field Level 2 Award for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) - Initial correspondence with Olive Group through the booking phase was well received with an information pack and prior learning that set the tone for the course. The course itself was professionally delivered, although the criteria of the course is to a very high standard the team creat a comfortable learning environment that assist the learner to accomplish the required standards.

Level 3 Close Protection Operative Course

I have recently completed my qualification with Olive Group (UK) Ltd which was delivered over 18 days. The course was well structured and a mix of theory and practical assessments. All practical teaching was as realistic as possible and conducted in public areas which only added to the experience of working within CP and the challenges faced when on missions.
Our instructor Paul has years of experience within the industry and not only uses this in his teaching, he goes above and beyond to ensure all learners fully understand the requirements and meet the standards needed even if it meant additional time is needed.
As the only female on the course I was slightly apprehensive before starting but this was removed on day 1 as I was made to feel very welcome and it is clear everybody is treated equally and the course is designed and delivered with inclusivity at all levels.
I would highly recommend Olive Group to anyone looking to gain their qualification in CP especially any female students as you will not find a better provider out there who are also still operational within the industry.

I recently attended the 18 Day CP course. The course was delivered by experienced and credible instructors who have worked in the industry for considerable time. The programme was delivered in a structured and well thought out way whereby all course members, no matter what their background or experience, got the opportunity to learn and develop their skills. The instructors ensured they supported all candidates every step of the way and allocated extra time to ensure everyone met all of the learning objectives.

I recently attended the Hostile Environment Close Protection Operative (HECPO) course which ran over a 4 day period, the course is designed to give you an insight in what working in a hostile/high risk environment is like. The course is delivered by Paul who uses his experiences and knowledge to give as much information as possible from travelling, kit and equipment, culture awareness lesson and vehicle and foot drills. The course concludes with a weapons package delivered by Brian a very enthusiastic and helpful, weapons instructor. Here you will be taught the drills and skills for weapons you may use whilst working in a hostile environment, also getting hands on the weapons on the 100m range. The course was very informative and enjoyable and i would highly recommend to anyone interested in a CP Career.

I have just completed the close protection course, the course was ran as realistic as can be, Paul the instructor was very professional at all times and has a lot of experience he was always there to help to make sure we understood everything. Brilliant course would highly recommend to anybody wanting to get into CP to go through Olive Group.

The course was delivered via practical and theory instruction, which was detailed and instructive. All queries were answered in their entirety. The course information is right to the point, based of decades of experience working in said environments. The entire course is delivered with great professionalism and gives you the exact skill set to conduct employment in said area. I have just completed the HECPO course hosted by Olive Group. The course is structured to give a realistic glimpse into the reality of working in a hostile environment. It is delivered by still active close protection operatives that have years of experience.
The course is packed with advice and instruction on how to approach all aspects of working, travelling and interacting with cultures and potential situations.
There is also a comprehensive introduction to the weapon systems you are likely to encounter while doing the job.
I highly recommend this course for those considering doing CP in a hostile environment.

I completed my CPO, ECFR level 3 and HECPO course package. The training team were outstanding, highly professional and experienced. I gained a lot of valuable knowledge and skills to move forward progressing my career path. I would recommend Olive Group UK to anyone who is looking to get started in the security industry I've had a great experience and likewise with the other trainees from the course.

Not only do they train, they deploy!

Olive Group deployed me to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup which was an amazing gig to be on within one of the biggest events in the world. Just another thing Olive do for their trainees on top of first-class training.

I recently attended this Close Protection course which was over twenty seven days. It was based at a fantastic location with quality facilities and the training from all the instructors was absolutely first class.

The course started with the L3 Emergency Care for First Responders which was taken by our instructor Rob who is an experienced paramedic. This course was a mixture of classroom based learning and also realistic scenario based/practical exercises. Rob is knowledgeable and the way in which he delivers the course is first class - Rob was brilliant, enthusiastic and the group not only enjoyed the course but appreciated the first class training which was delivered to us.

The next part of our course was the L3 Highfield Close Protection Course. For me personally this was probably one of - if not the best experience I've ever had. I came into the environment with absolutely no knowledge of any the various subjects I encountered over the next few weeks. Some of the skills/knowledge I learnt ranged from reconnaissance, foot drills, Surveillance, tactical driving, vehicle searches etc which were all put into scenario based situations in various towns/venues.

The final part of the course was the HECPO. This was a mixture of classroom based presentations and also getting a chance to experience firing weapons such as the AK47 which was brilliant.

Finally I would just like to say to anyone considering going on any courses similar to this that this course is absolutely fantastic. The amount of knowledge, skills that we all took away from this experience is unbelievable. The people who take the course are of the highest standard and I felt they were really invested into helping us reach our optimum levels. The course instructor went above and beyond for every student - I cannot praise him highly enough plus all the other instructors who helped us during the course.

This is an experience that I will never forget. I loved my time here and the best part of the course was that I met some great people.

HECPO course was excellent.
In that course they covered everything you need to know about Hostile Environment.
The instructors gave great effort to ensure that each one of us will have the knowledge we need when the course comes to an end.
I would like to thank the team for their professionalism.

L3 Highfield Emergency Care for First Responders & L3 Highfield Close Protection Course
I've completed many first aid at work courses over the years and thought that this would be the same with a little extra thrown in - I'm happy to say that I was completely wrong and I learned so much more in a way that made it all stick in and it's given me more confidence if something was to happen in the future.
Not going to lie, back to back courses 23 days long (no weekends off) the CP course was tough going and took you out of your comfort zone but you have expert tuition to help guide you throughout the course - and if required, following the course! Best part is knowing that you are being taught by those that have and are continuing to do the work and not just someone that has watched a movie or read about it - highly recommend
