Be willing to wait and wait and wait

It’s purposely not clear, but this company is located in another solar system. Do not order if you would like the item this decade. Do not be advertising Christmas gifts in the middle of December when you know there is absolutely no way they will arrive by Christmas.

Paid for an order and not heard…

Paid for an order and not heard anything since 9 days contacted this company for a response and when my items will be dispatched and haven't received a response back ? Awful service and possibly been scammed .order no ##NUK5570 found the tracking its suck in an airport in China not moving for the last few days really people should be informed that the products come from China and may never get here or if they do it will be a month doing so 🙄

I would not recommend this particular product (octopus), however they did reach out and offer a full refund without issue, which I appreciate.

If we could give it a zero we would, and no way of getting a refund either absolutely disgusting taking people's money before Christmas.

Worthless product

I spent 200 dollars on a really bad product because I didn’t do my research properly and placed the order impulsively. I didn’t expect the quality to be so poor, and they don’t offer returns or exchanges. Later, I looked it up and found out that what I thought was an Australian local company actually shipped the product from China. If it’s something cheap that only costs a few dollars, it’s fine — but don’t spend money on big items.

I had a similar experience that another…

I had a similar experience that another reviewer here seemed to have had. I tried to contact the company that the silver finish on my ring was coming off after wearing it only three times. I was then unable to get another email through to them (even with the original email address I used the first time). The jewelry looks nice at first, but I would question the quality of the materials.

Scam

Olivenorma is a scam. My order was marked “delivered,” but nothing ever arrived. I have cameras proving no delivery, and they use a cheap courier while refusing to take responsibility. Still waiting for my package—don’t waste your money here.

What you see is NOT what you get, buyer beware!

**If you don’t want to read the full review then please note this; if you’re trying to obtain a refund, don’t accept their rubbish ‘ we can only give you 20% and you can keep the product. That’s the best we can do’ nonsense. They know they’re selling products of poor quality, that are not as advertised- this is all just part of their scam, I believe. It’s not acceptable and not what you’re entitled to. You’ll go back and forward A LOT but if you keep pushing, you’ll get a full refund. They also refuse to pay for the return postage, so you’ll probably get to keep the item too. (Not that you’ll want to!) If you need to escalate, go though your bank or PayPal.**

Full review: Absolutely awful. As others have stated, the products they sell are cheap imitations and of very poor quality. I ended up having to go to PayPal for a refund after much back and forth with them. Here’s an excerpt from one email I received from Olivenorma;

‘We would like to sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. We completely understand your frustration and acknowledge that the items you received are faulty and not as advertised.

Unfortunately, as per our policy, we are unable to cover the return postage or provide prepaid labels. However, we will gladly process a full refund for your order once the items are returned. Alternatively, if the postage costs are too high for you, we can offer you a 40% refund for the items in question, which is the best we can offer under these circumstances.’

They literally admitted the item was faulty and not as advertised, but refused point blank to pay for return postage. If I’d paid for the return myself, I’d have lost about half of the initial cost of the items to postage; the items I bought were HEAVY, and they’re based in China and I’m in Australia, hence the extremely high cost. As I mentioned, I went back and forward with them many times- they kept upping their crappy lowball ‘this is the best we can do offers’; which was always a partial refund and keeping the items, or, me paying the crazy postage costs to return- then they’d give me my money back.

The fact the items are fake/cheap replicas of what’s advertised and their refusal to pay for the return (which meant they were not acting in accordance with my statutory consumer rights), enabled me to open a case with PayPal- so that was something at least!

Only once I’d lodged a dispute with PayPal and notified them of this, did they actually make any real attempt to property rectify the situation- by which point it was too late.

Their products, business practices and customer service are all awful. Please save yourself from the headache I’ve endured. Hopefully this review can help someone! :)

08/09- response to Olivenorma;

My issue wasn’t with the imperfections during the plating process- they were with the fact the items were 3x as thick as advertised; looking nothing like the photos. One also had a large CHIP and a CRACK, both were glued together (when meant to be one solid piece) AND they were advertised as genuine rose quartz (there’s nothing genuine about them).

Any steps you took to remediate this situation were taken AFTER PayPal stepped in and refunded me- therefore completely redundant. And you know this.
