If you want chocolate without that lovely deep umami chocolatey taste Ombar is for you. It's a savoury version of chocolate lacking in any real depth or taste. Best left on the shelf.

Just had some Blonde caramelised white chocolate egg 👍 it was amazing .
I wish I’d bought more eggs!

I tried the following flavours this weekend with my family:

- Matcha Blonde
- Caramelised Blonde (So good if you love the malted flavour you get with Biscoff)
- Coco M'lk
- Hazelnut Truffle (So decadent and rich!)

We are so impressed with the flavours and the ethos behind the brand. Delightful chocolate that is delightfully made. Would 100% recommend to all chocolate lovers. Thank you to the Ombar team for such a wonderful product, I shall definitely purchase more!!

Thank you Ombar. After 9 years of being vegan, I have finally found my favourite chocolate! I tried the hazelnut brownie and the coco vanilla. Amazing. And ethical too ✨️🌿

I absolutely love this chocolate! Intense flavours, not too sweet, proper cocoa taste. My one complaint is that it is far too ‘moreish’ for my waistline 😂

Placed an order nearly 2 weeks ago and hasn't turned up. Contacted the order team there and they advised there is a problem with my address. They told me nothing to do with them and to contact Royal Mail. This is my first order and not happy with their follow through as Royal Mail are their service provider. I have now asked for a full refund. Not great customer service to wash your hands of an delivery issue. Shame as have been told the chocolate is good but apparently not the customer service. I am hesitant to leave bad reviews for a small company but gobsmacked with the response I received today.

I know it's a bit late but I spent 15 pounds on a vegan advent calendar for my wife and she has dietary requirements on bar are one of the very few makes of chocolate she could eat when the calendar arrived all the chocolates were loose inside as it could be heard them rattling around I had to take it apart and put all the chocolates back as best I could I contacted ombar by email and Facebook with no reply not even an apology I will not buy ombar chocolate anymore for my wife

I'm only commenting on the plain chocolate, rather than the filled or "milk" bars, which I haven't tried. The 90% and 100% bars are absolutely fantastic. The 100% in particular is the smoothest, creamiest 100% bar I have ever tasted, and the use of unroasted beans gives it such a rich and complex taste. I've now got the 100% on subscription to make sure that I don't run out!

Hard to believe that Ombar was once my favourite chocolate producer & supplier of choice(I have the fondest memories of treating myself to a weekly bar from the Westbourne Grove(original branch)branch of Planet Organic 2 decades ago, quality control standards have somewhat slipped with the quality of ingredients with the use of detrimental seed oils in the chocolate(sunflower oil) adds to a far from pleasing and pleasurable treat experience. Sadly, I can no longer recommend them to anyone. Someone is skimping on quality food production methods for ego led massive profit margin incentives only, such a shame. Has anyone else noticed how quality fresh imports ie mangoes is hard to source now post Brexit? I can no longer enjoy a fresh mango treat now :-(.

Best Vegan chocolate by far. I’ve tried loads of brands and Ombar is definitely the nicest tasting. It doesn’t have that fake chocolate like taste. Ombar is also an ethical company to support and donates funds to rainforest restoration.

I love the 42g pistachio bars. So yummy and delicious without any nasty stuff. My only complaint would be that the consistency in the first and last pieces are good as it’s mostly just a big piece of chocolate without any pistachio in. So I end up paying a lot to only enjoy 3 pieces

Melted down all the many ombar chocolate bars i have receved as gifts in the last year & added in loads of sugar; it just about made them palatable, but they still have an unpleasant salty & earthy taste.

As a vegan, this is THE chocolate I've been waiting for - smooth, creamy, FLAVOROUS and irresistably delicious.

It's the Ombar chocolate tasti-ness that stands out not any hint of a traumatising sugary kick as with others I've been disppointed with so so often.

Buying more now!

I bought my sister an Ombar advent calendar which Royal mail failed to deliver.
Ombar very kindly sent another advent calendar out which my sister recieved the next day.
She says the chocolate is "delicious" and "creamy".
Their customer service was exceptional. Very speedy replies and they were so kind to send out another calendar, which meant a lot to me.
I would definitely purchase again from them.

Chocolate's my passion. I can usually tell which country the beans have come from without looking at the ingredients list, what kind of sugar's been used, etc.

I have a bar of Ombar 72% cacao, which tastes weird, but in an unpleasant way. Live cultures and coconut sugar don't work for me, sorry. Won't purchase again.

I just tried the coconut and vanilla chocolate and it's quite beautiful - so silky smooth and melts deliciously in the mouth. I will definitely try the other flavours. This is a winner for me!

I received a sample to try (hazelnut milk choc) but wasn’t obligated to share my experience at all, but it was so delicious that I really wanted to leave a review! It was so incredibly creamy, I didn’t know vegan chocolate can taste like this. I’m so impressed! Highly recommended! I only wish the prices were lower. I struggle paying twice the price of non-vegan chocolate. If it was a similar price I would buy it regularly. It’s a shame that vegan alternatives always have to cost so much more :( I doubt that oat milk is so much more expensive to make than dairy milk.

I had the chance to try a sample of the hazelnut chocolate bar. The taste is delightful and you cannot say that is plant based from the taste. It is also a good option to save a bit our planet.

I received a sample of this chocolate and liked it so much I bought six more. It's lovely and creamy which makes a welcome change from plain chocolate.
