Only problem is the debit card you issue for the clam. It is difficult to use at some merchants. Orders on line usually work. But box stores is not as easy.

Written by the company

Omega Auto Care pays the bill when your vehicle’s covered parts and systems break down. Keeping your car beyond its factory warranty makes good financial sense, unless expensive repair bills end up being more than your monthly car payment. That’s where we can help, picking up where your factory warranty leaves off. Our Vehicle Service Contract pays for the repair bills outlined in the coverage level you select. You already have insurance if someone or something damages your car. Omega offers insurance when your car is damaged due to mechanical failure. It’s Protection and Financial Security for you! Transmission went out on my 17Outback

Transmission went out on my 17Outback. It took two months to get my claim approved and get my car fixed. When I got the vehicle back it was rattling. A couple weeks later the dash lights came on including the check engine. The used transmission they supplied was making the noise and had to take it back in. I don’t have another vehicle at the moment and it’s causing a ton of problems in my life. These CVT transmissions are known to break down around 90k and they just keep putting another used cvt in which it’s going to keep breaking down. This one was bad from the second it was installed!!!

I recently had a frustrating experience…

I recently had a frustrating experience with Omega Home and Auto Care, a homeowners' warranty company. An agent I spoke with tried to sell me on their policy by claiming they were the best and no other company could match their coverage. But when I did my own 'apples-to-apples' comparison, I found their policy was four times more expensive than a competitor's for the same benefits.

When I called them on this, the manager, Sarah, ended the call abruptly, stating, 'I've been in the business for years, and I have never heard of that level of coverage.' It felt like a direct insult, as if she were calling me a liar.

This is a good reminder for anyone looking for a homeowners warranty. The most important thing you can do is your own research. Don't just trust what a salesperson tells you; know your policy inside and out."

Very, very poor service

I reported a leaking supply line for a bathroom vanity sink. They said some one would contact me in one or two days, no one did. So I called again and was told I could find my own plumber and for for it myself and submit a bill and then submit and reimbursement would be considered. Since we paid Omega to find and schedule a plumber I would let them do what they had already been paid to do. Two days later still no plumber or word from Omega.
I called a third time and was reminded I could find my own plumber and pay out of pocket and submit the itemized bill for consideration of reimbursement. The instructions for submitting said it may take three weeks to decide and issue reimbursement.
They have my money, did not find and schedule a repair, did not give the follow up call as promised, and then said they would review my claim and after three weeks reimburse me.
I realize that Omega has our premium money and wants to hold on to it for as long as possible, possibly earning interest, while having the policy owner do their job for them. Sounds like a lucrative scam!

This company is terrible literally…

This company is terrible literally terrible I tried to cancel it took four days just to reach them and it took 4 different workers not one of them helped me cancel and the last one literally said “I don’t think I’m going to cancel” just because she didn’t like the way I asked her to cancel she gave me such a hard time for no reason. Rude customer service terrible business stay far far away I would rather walk on glass then be apart of this ghetto company.

Customer service sucks they are rude…

Customer service sucks they are rude and are not helpful. They also don’t know how to fix their own problems and they also love to hang up on their customers since don’t know how to talk to people. When I tried to get assistance from a manager named Samantha her way of helping me was to hang up.

Horrible place they will Scam you

I bought a car in January paid the $250 for initially signing up for this auto care than was charged monthly automatically. I had the car for not even 3 months when my battery went out & I reached out to them about it they said they could only cover $100 of the battery which I felt was ridiculous I’m paying for full coverage warranty & you can’t even cover the full battery price? Ok so I buy the battery & call/email them about my reimbursement they ask me “why didn’t I go thru them to purchase the battery” I said you guys told me you can only cover $100. I did everything they told me to do sent in my receipt like they asked so they can see how much I spent total on my battery to reimburse the $100… well I was never emailed or called back then I check my bank statements & they have decided to charge me twice in 1 month I called them about it left a voicemail how upset I was about this service & no one called back no one has said anything to me they have taken over $500 from me & I have received no service from them since I bought my car… this is a horrible company I was so happy to want warranty on my car & to be able to have this extra coverage just for them to steal from me & never help.

We’re very sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced. We’d like to clarify that batteries are included as part of the free maintenance benefits that come with your contract, rather than being considered a mechanical failure. For maintenance items like batteries, there is a preset coverage amount, which is why only $100 was reimbursed. Mechanical failures, on the other hand, are covered differently under your contract.

We encourage you to review your contract to see the details for both mechanical and maintenance coverage, so the distinctions and limits are clear. Regarding the billing concern, please contact your billing company, or the seller of the policy, as we do not handle paymnets.

Great Service

My 2013 Ford Focus SE ran into a transmission clutch problem. I called Omega and was able to get a customer service representative named Ian G. to help me through the process. Ian was able to get in touch with the dealership that I choose to complete the work and stayed in contact with the repair representative until the work was officially completed. Ian G. and his team made sure that my vehicle was able to get back on the road without any more issues. I'm very grateful for their patience and service.
