Also known as chaste berry, agnus castus is an aromatic shrub which has been used for centuries to manage hormone balance. Sometimes called the ‘female herb’ it has proved very effective when fed to mares during their season. A great quality product. You need to hold your nerve and keep using it. My mare is definitely benefitting from having it. There are no instructions to advise whether to start and initial loading dose, which would've been helpful. I just introduced it gradually and she's happily eating it. I'll definitely be ordering this regularly from Omega Equine, the delivery was really quick!

Sadly no measuring spoon in the refil bag, at least I assume it is a refil bag. Product is tasty for a fussy horse although I am not sure if I am feeding enoughh

This helps to keep costs down for our customers and reduces plastic waste. We would recommend utilising an existing scoop or other small container, weighing out your chosen amount of Agnus Castus and using a pen to mark where you should fill to each time. If you don't have access to a scoop, we could send you one free of charge on your next order with us.

Would prefer it not being in a plastic bag but luckily had a tub I could decant it into. Fussy eater can on occasions detect it in his feed as it can clump so does need to be well mixed in. Have seen improvements in all horses on it though, 2 mares and 1 gelding.
