Customer service was good and prompt and the agents were helpful and well informed. They clearly deal with a lot of complaints which is unsurprising. These cards are a nightmare to spend, and they have turned off the swap function so you cannot use them online to buy anything greater than the value of an individual card. Even in store, retailers clearly resent the rigmarole of processing these cards. I got a satisfactory resolution and had the balances of multiple cards transferred to my bank account, but it took a phone call, four emails and six days of persistence. I’m certain that these cards only remain in business because so many people give up trying to use them and they are able to keep the money.

I wanted to send a card for a birthday as I was away on holiday. On reading instructions it says that it can be sent instantly to a chosen recipient. I bought the card and then received on email to say it would take 3 working days to come to myself. I now have to tell the person what I had done on their birthday as they
wouldn’t be getting anything, which totally defeated the object of me buying it. Not happy!
✳️ Update. I have now emailed customer service for a refund under the Sale of Goods Act as it is with 14 days of purchase

Awful idea, half of the retailers listed don’t accept the card because they can’t verify them (without an address) a generally stressful experience trying to spend this card. Avoid.

Diabolical, got some as a “reward” for hitting sales targets, at my post office. Send them all (in the same envelope) but seperate gift cards, all in £10’s. And surprise, surprise, i can only use one per transaction and if its more than £10 total per transaction, then i cant spend it 🤣🤣🤣
Will pull them from my branch as a result, £1000’s in sales lost for them in this case. Feel bad for reccomending them to my customers now. Rewarding post offices for selling their product by sending all in small amounts to make sure they cant/wont be able to spend them is shocking. Would have rather had nothing than this.

I ordered a digital card so it was delivered asap on Friday. The birthday was Sunday & it still has not arrived in my emails to forward on. The app is not helpful. Will not buy One4all gift cards again but still with other digital cards that are emailed immediately.
I did receive a reply stating my card was in my wallet but I still could not access it. I spoke to Natalie in customer services & she is refunding me the card amount as I found the process too difficult. Thank you for the reply & to Natalie but it’s not a process I wish to repeat.

Great for payments and using as would debit card.
Be good if could easily combine small amounts
Be excellent if could just load onto one existing card or you get loads to sift through
Be good if they sent you the bonus gift cards, or codes they incentivise with, that don’t often come.
For me love using … just lots of integrating and organising whe use multiples, otherwise a fan

BEWARE. Absolutely furious. Be aware that the company can take money from your card!. Recently tried to use two cards, both £30, so £60 in total . Both were, as I understood still valid. One ‘Valid thru’ 05/2027, the other 07/2026. In John Lewis the staff informed me one was now only worth £13.80 the other £12.00 . Apparently the company start taking your money at a rate of 90p a month after 18mnths. So the company took another £34.20p in addition to the £60.00 paid kindly by my friends. I would strongly suggest you use another gift card company. I will never buy from them again. Incidentally the two JL staff who served me, neither knew of this and they were going to speak to their store manger as they sold them at their till. Disgusted.

I have been given a £20 gift card for my birthday, bought in tesco. Can't use online to buy something because NO split payments, so thought I'd use it in tesco but they refused it because the cards are being used in scams. I'm going to have to tell my friend she wasted £20 giving me this useless gift. AVOID!!

This is the most useless gift card ever. Have spent hours trying to work out how to use it. It is difficult to understand, complicated and now I have given up. They have the money as I cannot use it and so at some point I will be charged 0.90 a month until the balance reaches zero. This is a complete con.

I bought a digital One4all gift card for a child's birthday present. Card link was sent to a family member and was then claimed by an unknown person. I have contacted One4all who advised that this UNKNOWN person has now become the account holder of my One4all account but THEY CANT CONTACT THE unknown person UNTIL THIS ALLEDGED unknown person contacts them. I have had to cancel my payment details / cancel my credit card which IS A MASSIVE INCONVENIENCE AND CONCERN and led me to report this to action fraud.
One4all did acknowledge my trust pillot review but still no response, or resolution despite me contacting them as requested after initial Trust Pilot review!
Edit 26/02/2026 still no response from One4all regarding my request that this matter be escalated.
28 /02/2026 Still NO response from One4all regarding my original complaint! Nothing at all !

Seems to me this company is being allowed to get away with theft! Really short expiry dates, fees that erode the balance after a short period of time has elapsed, cannot use it as part-payment towards a purchase that costs more than the card balance! Was given a ‘restaurant favourites’ card with a £15 balance - I’d love to know how I could possibly find a restaurant bill of £15 or less that I could spend it on. I am not sure how their business model is legal; it’s certainly unethical. I would NEVER give this as a gift to someone I care about.

I was given a One4all gift card and forgot I had it. When I later checked the balance, I found a debit for the full amount with the description “account end-of-life breakage.”
The entire balance had been taken. I don’t think this is fair, as the card had already been paid for by the person who gifted it.
It doesn’t seem right that money can just be removed like this after expiry. I would not recommend these gift cards and would suggest using another retailer instead.

Why in the world would you make a gift card service where you cannot spend over the gift card credit amount and then pay the rest yourself? It’s impossible to spend it online, you have to spend the exact gift card balance to get all of your money out of it.
