Great razor

I’ve had loads of electric razors over the years. But I’ve just recently purchased this one blade due to the good reviews and wow i totally agree with the good reviews. I absolutely love this razor. Don’t know yet how long the blades will last but as far as shaving goes it’s a 10/10 for me. And I’ve been shaving 40 years. Well worth the 20 bucks I paid in savers. Replacement blades are relatively expensive but let’s hope they last as long as they say they do. I shave every couple of days with the bare razor and great results just as close as I want it and not a nick in sight

NO CHARGER!! WTF???

What is the point of selling a chargeable shaver WITHOUT the charger??? I returned one box to the shop because of this and ordered a different model online!! That one also came without a charger even though one was pictured on the box!!
Total waste of time and money!! How can you review a product if you can’t use the bloomig thing???
Probably a good shsver but it’s like selling a car without thebattery!!! Come on Philips get your act together!!!!

OneBlade chargers are a scam

Shavers should be subject to the same charger standards as phones - a single shared format. I have bought 3x Philips OneBlades in my house for family and each one of them uses a different charger. Absolute disgrace - so if you can’t find your specific custom USB charger you’re supposed to do what? Buy a whole new razor? Shouldn’t be allowed - total scam and environmentally harmful.

It’s great but the blades only last a good 2 weeks where they say a blade can last 4 months - maybe true if you only use it once a week and not daily. €40 for 3 replacement blades is cost. I’m spending €40 every 6 weeks, I think I’ll go back to the mac3

I bought one with the various accessories. I'm hardly new to shaving, I have about 50 years of practice.
I couldn't learn to live with this thing - I had more cuts in one session than a year of normal shaving.
Went back to normal disposable head wet razors, happy that I did.

Good Reviews? Something wrong here!

I can't believe the number of high reviews I am seeing on this product on line. For me, it is a piece of crap. I have been using it for 9 months now and replaced blades and head, to no avail. I have checked on Youtube videos to make sure I am using properly as think I am missing something? I trim my hair to 3 normally. With a standard trimmer, it takes me no more than 2-3 minutes daily. With the Philips One Blade it can take 15 minutes plus and I still find I have odd long tufts that it has not picked up. Absolutely useless for trimming hair. The shaving is ok but not as close as a razor and the trimming/shaping does not work as well as indicated given the shave is not that close. The upsides are that it is light, has good battery charge and life, but that is pointless if it doesn't do it's job in the first place. Something really not right with the positive reviews I am seeing as that is so far from my experience. Will revert to a normal trimmer and razor.

One blade does shave close to be fair but the blades do not last the stated 4 months. Best I can get is 3-4weeks. Also the blades are way to expensive for what they are. Mine is now a paper weight as it was just to expensive to use blades wise. If Philips can make the blades a lot cheaper to buy I'd consider using it again. Id say to those thinking of buying it to not bother as the running costs are too expensive. I have had mine a year and have now reverted back to my electric Remington shaver as it's way cheaper.

It's great, but you have to learn to use it correctly.

After two shaves I was actually planning on writing a bad review and returning the razor, I'm glad I didn't. Here's my experience:

My first shaves were horrible, I've never had skin burn so bad. I was ready to throw in the towel, but decided to give it one more shot. Changed the razor, but more importantly; watched the instructional video.

Turns out that I wasn't keeping pressure on the top of the razor. This caused the razor to be at a bad angle when shaving. Keeping pressure at the top of the razor so the mechanism can do its job to keep the razorblade at the right angle is the most important tip I can give to new users.

There's one thing that I do miss. I'm used to a Gillette fusion razor which has a trimming blade on the top. Fine trimming feels very difficult for me with this razor. If OneBlade could develop a separate razor made specifically for trimming, I'd be able to throw away the Gillette
