Extremely disappointed!

We purchased a ceiling fan (4 actually!) from Fivestar LED via One Deal a Day, the first three are fine (and work excellently!), but the fourth one doesn't have a remote (so doesn't work at all). We have been trying to get hold of both companies for over a month and get no response from either company.

In fact! Fivestar LED's email comes back as non-existent, the cellphone on their website doesn't exist.

One Deal a Day, despite have sent many emails to more than one email address from both my husband and myself have not given us the courtesy of a reply.

Don’t buy from one deal a day

If only the are were a row for minus stars because they deserve minus 10. No feedback. I want a refund for the chairs I purchased from one deal a day on 9 June. They claim to have a 10 day delivery time. I was informed 17 June that they are having delays. No feedback after 5 emails concerning the delay. I want my money back; Don’t waste yours . I hope this company fails as they are failing buyers. Bull$#!£!!!!!!

Absolutely appalling service from One…



Absolutely appalling service from One Deal a Day

I purchased pots in May and, a month later, I am still waiting for my order. I have sent multiple emails and messages trying to get an update, yet I have received little to no feedback. Customer service has been completely unhelpful, and communication is virtually non-existent.

As a customer, I expect at least a response and some transparency regarding my order, but unfortunately, that has not been the case. The lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating.

This has been the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I would not recommend One Day Only to anyone if this is how they treat paying customers.

No stock - No refund either!

No stock, but no refund either??

I placed my order on 25/05/2026. On 04/06/2026 I received an automated email to state there was a delay on my order.

I then sent a whatsapp through to request more information re the delay as it was a gift I was buying for someone. Got the standard "I will get more information and let you know" response. I followed up again later that day and got the standard "they have reported it to the administrative manager and to bare with them as its a sales platform." I was then contacted by another number through Whatsapp and told there was no stock of the item and that they could offer me something else - they sent me an image of another item. I asked them for more details. They ignored me. Later that day I asked for a refund instead.They replied and asked me to wait until that Monday as they could perhaps source the item I wanted from another supplier.

Needless to say, no response to me on Monday. I followed up on the Tuesday, 10th June and explained that it was painful dealing with their company. No apologies, I just got asked for my banking details and provided them. No further feedback.

On 15/06/2026 after I had messaged them 6 times, I was finally told my refund would be done on Wednesday.

I have sent over 15 whatsapps to them and they read my messages and just ignore me - no refund was done.

I want to take this further and will have to get ombudsman involved.

***Update***
I finally received my refund after threatening to go to ombudsman. No response or apology to any of my messages, just a proof of payment. Good riddance

Order 942078 was paid on 6/4/26 and cancelled on 8/4/26.....but still delivered somewhere in May 2026. After numerous whatsapps/mails I got a response on whatsapp that they will collect the item to be returned on 20/5/26....I am stiil waiting for the collection on 28/5/26. This only demonstrate their Utter disregard for the client in the worse possible way imagined...DO NOT ORDER from One deal a day EVER....and after reading the other people's reviews I am even more disgusted!

Extremely Disappointing Service

I purchased a blender from One Deal A Day on 01 April 2026 and only received it on 13 April after repeatedly requesting updates and a tracking number.

Communication throughout the process was extremely poor, with little to no proactive feedback from the company.
On 16 April, during the very first use, the blender leaked immediately while only containing water. This is unacceptable and potentially dangerous for an electrical appliance.

Despite reporting the issue straight away, the faulty item was only collected on 29 April, again after numerous follow-ups, unanswered messages, and unfulfilled promises. Every interaction seemed to involve excuses rather than solutions.

On 08 May, One Deal A Day requested my banking details in order to process the refund. However, today they informed my partner that these details were only requested on 12 May, which is completely incorrect and contradicts the email records we have.

I have only received my refund this morning 15 May. Once again, we had to follow up ourselves just to get an update.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Delayed delivery, a faulty product, poor communication, constant excuses, and an unnecessarily drawn-out refund process.

I will definitely not be supporting One Deal A Day again and cannot recommend them based on this experience.

One deal a day thieves

One deal a day has effectively stolen from me as I have not received any refund or further communication with regards to a reject item delivered. This query has been outstanding since November last year and we are now heading into April. This will make it 6 MONTHS! Of battling to get a refund

One Scam A Day

This place, im not sure if its a SCAM or what?? i ordered and paid for items on the 22nd Dec 2025. to date i have received no feedback, whatsapps are being ignored, BUT WHEN YOU LEAVE ITEMS IN THE CART THE SALES AGENTS ARE QUICK CONTACT YOU. how can they run a business like this, PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE WASTING YOUR MONEY. I WISH I READ REVIEWS 1ST BEFORE WASTING MY WELL EARNED MONEY ON THESE SCAMMERS. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM ON EVERY SITE POSSIBLE

I'm frustrated with these people…

I'm frustrated with these people ordered a few items including a Mirror on the 25th of August, after 2 weeks of item not being delivered I contacted the company and was told that my items would be dispatched and that they were having issues with the mirrors as multiple clients were receiving thier mirrors broken. After a week, still no delivery. Finally on the 29th of September recieved a call from fastway to ask whether I had recieved a refund from One Deal a Day because an insurance claim had been processed for the mirror as it was damaged in transit. Was shocked, One Deal A Day had not contacted me to let me know despite constant follow ups regarding delivery. To date I am still waiting on refund and nothing as been delivered. Was told that I needed to wait 30 days for a refund for goods that I had not it even recieved. In total it's been almost two months now. At this point, I'm just coming to terms that I was scammed. Stay away please. It's not worth your money and time.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, I received a broken mirror and have requested a refund or return repeatedly over the past 2 weeks. I am only getting a repeated response that it has been escalated to admin. No feedback from admin.

Placed and Payd order on 23 July 2025

Placed and Payd order on 23 July 2025. They say delivery 7-15 days.
After 15 days I followed up just to be told that the supplier is out of stock (after 15 days they only realise this?). Will refund me, and the money will be in my bank account today. (Took forever and multiple phone conversations to get this info out of them).
When I enquired today why the money has not been paid in my bank account as promised on a whatsapp message, I am again ignored. I will never buy anything from them again. Service is pathetic and they just ignore you. Worse order I have ever placed.

NO response re faulty goods

They did not deliver within the time they said they would and kettle was faulty. I understand that can happen but since then I have had NO response from them despite numerous emails and contact attempts. 10 days of zero feedback!

Please be cautious when buying from OneDealaDay

Please be cautious when buying from OneDealaDay. Here’s what I experienced:
1. I was led to believe I was purchasing an induction pan, but it turned out to be an induction cooker, which I already own. Now, they expect me to return it at my own cost. I even contacted their courier and offered to pay for the return, but they refused to assist.
2. I also purchased a lightweight desk on wheels. Initially, I carried it around because it felt unstable. Eventually, I thought I could use the wheels and gently pushed it a short distance. After just two attempts, the desk collapsed. The screws cannot tighten the wood to the frame. The desk top has holes and it’s beyond repairable.

Despite making several phone calls and sending WhatsApp messages, the issues were never resolved. I now make a conscious effort to think twice before buying anything from OneDealaDay.

BAD CUSTOMEWR SERVICE

I’m a regular customer at One Deal A Day — my last order was for five 4-tier racks. Over a week ago, I received an email saying my parcel had been dispatched. Now, anyone who deals with Fastway in this area knows just how hopeless they are, so rather than wait around for them to maybe, possibly, one day decide to deliver, I track my parcels religiously and collect them myself — even if it means a 50km drive to their depot.

Here’s the problem: there is absolutely no tracking info available on the courier’s site. Nothing. But on One Deal A Day’s site, the order is marked as “complete/dispatched”. Fastway won’t help without a waybill number. One Deal A Day? They don’t answer emails, they ignore WhatsApp messages, and their Facebook page might as well not exist for all the good it does.

If you’re looking for a masterclass in bad service and customer disregard, go ahead and place an order with them — but don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s a one-way ticket to frustration.

I purchased a 2 in 1 Portable Air pump…

I purchased a 2 in 1 Portable Air pump and Jump Starter from One Deal A day last month ( May 2025) on order number 876913, and when I opened it to use it for the first time to pump my motorcycle tyres, the all import valve connector was missing.
I immediately contact the company to inform them and request a replacement for the missing connector..
That was over 2 weeks ago and despite my numerous emails since then, i have had no response from them.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

One RESPONSE a day for faulty products and no refund after 2 weeks

Logged an incident Monday 14 April for a power bank that was received faulty. Received one repsonse a day asking for more videos proving the product is faulty, YET they will still collect it to test it themselves. Today is the 25th of April and I was told the faulty item woul dbe collected on the 23rd. I need this power bank for an upcoming trip. I cannot buy a new one because I haven't received A REFUND or confirmation thereof. Your service is utterly disappointing considering I communicated with THREE different numbers provided by you. I understand how your business runs now - selling faulty products to customers and then not giving them refunds.

Worst experience ever!!

Worst experience ever!!! Onedealaday is a scam. They took a very long time to deliver my order, and when they deliver they delivered a wrong product, something I was not interested in buying. It was so difficult to communicate with them regarding the return of the wrong product they delivered. They don't have working telephone where you can directly call them, they didn't reply to my email of complaint, and their whatsapp number doesn't assist. You will supply all they want as per their watsapp instructions but they don't come back to you with a solution. I will never buy at onedayadeal in my life, they frustrate you until you give up, they are scammers.
