I love to work for Oneforma but this company should treat the raters as human beings behind the screens. We all need to work and it is frustating to dedicate your time doing your very best and all of a suden, due a glitch in Persona id my account is inactive, even been working for them for years. Persona has some issues, and even emailing the account reviewer I didn't get my account back and I didn't cash out my earnings. PLEASE I BEG FOR A NEW TRY TO VERIFY MY ID.

I spent the etire day signing up and doing certifications. No tasksavailable. Upon checking reviews, I was frustrated. A total waste of time.

I've been registered in this website for a long time and they are constantly sending emails for projects that aren't available and the website is full of broken links. They are probably just collecting data from users and never do anything worthwhile regarding projects and small jobs.
I've tried clicking a couple of invite emails that are constantly arriving to no avail. Today I gave up and deleted my account.

Absolutely non-cooperative support and generally shady practices.
I worked for them for a year, seemingly successfully, even though you have to put up with completing LOADS of training, most of which remains unnecessary as you do not get access to those projects.
Then out of the blue, they blocked my account. I am sure I did not violate any policies, but anyway, the specific reason was never explained to me. The platform was glitchy all the time.
To be fair, they did pay me what they owed, but the general experience is very frustrating and feels like a waste of time.

Its a scam
Right after doing an identity verification, they disable the account and boom gone for ages, no replies.

not get paid for work done for 1.5 months (August 28 -October 15)
Here is the anatomy of the scam they used against me:
1. The "Bait" (False Encouragement): For weeks, I was treated as a valued contractor. Managers sent me multiple bonus offers to encourage higher production. On the very same day I was eventually fired, I received emails stating that I was "Qualified" for new, advanced tasks and that I had been sent new training materials.
2. The Trigger (Asking for Pay): After not being paid for the previous cycle, I sent a polite email asking for my overdue wages.
3. The "Switch" (Fabricated Termination): Just hours after I asked for money, I was terminated for "subpar quality." ❌ The Contradiction: How could I be "Qualified" for advanced tasks in the morning, but have "subpar quality" in the evening? ❌
4. The Trap & Retaliation: When I asked about payment, their support team told me to wait for the payment cycle end date. I waited. On that exact date, instead of paying me, they retaliated. They permanently disabled my account to lock me out of my records and changed their accusation from "quality" to "fraud."
I’m an active contributor at OneForma. I landed my very first humble project there in early April 2024, and since then I’ve continuously been invited to more and more projects. Up to now, I’ve been an active contributor for 1 year and 10 months. Although most of my experience with OneForma has been pleasant, there are several aspects and practices that I strongly dislike about working with them.
First of all, crowdsourcing platforms like OneForma should adopt more payment methods. As of today, Payoneer is the only way contributors can receive their monthly payouts. I know that a very limited group of contributors are offered Trolley (Payment Rails), but only if they’re located in places where Payoneer doesn’t operate. Come on, you cannot expect everyone to have an active Payoneer account. Payoneer accounts run into issues all the time. Mine was once placed under review for days, and I was extremely frustrated at the thought that I might not be able to receive payments from OneForma if Payoneer decided to suspend my account. If OneForma wants to reduce its accounting workload, then at least partner with a more flexible provider like Deel or Airtime. Those platforms allow multiple withdrawal methods so contractors can choose what works for them, while Payoneer only allows bank withdrawals and bans accounts out of nowhere.
Second, OneForma’s customer support is zero, absolutely zero. I have never seen a platform with worse customer support than OneForma. Maybe it’s time to spend less on PR and marketing and dedicate more budget to actual support. Your contributors are the ones making you money, building your whole empire, yet you completely ignore their requests, tickets, and concerns. It’s nearly impossible to get hold of someone inside the company for issues like payment methods or technical problems. I once emailed their dedicated support address to ask for an alternative payment method and was completely ghosted. And despite claiming to be a pioneer in AI training, their AI chatbot is dumb as hell, no cap. Trying to get in touch with OneForma is a nightmare.
Third, they use location-based pay rates that offer only $3–$5/hour to contributors in developing countries, even when the project is for giant corporations. This practice of paying pennies while expecting contributors to commit 20–40+ hours per week, 4–8 hours per day just to keep up with the workload and deadlines has become extremely common at OneForma. On top of that, contributors are expected to attend unpaid trainings and project meetings, spend endless unpaid hours reading and memorizing hundreds of pages of guidelines, constant updates, and new documents, stay available to monitor messages and announcements in project channels and emails, and jump on tasks immediately as soon as they appear. Come on, guys. Know your worth and decline those disgusting, disrespectful rates and practices immediately. Do not start a race to the bottom.
no too good with customer communication but I did get a project now after a lot of applications and exam.

I will start with the positive side of it. I worked with OneForma for 5 years and my experience was fantastic at first. Once I signed in, I took several tests, and worked in some low-paid projects. A few months later I had lots of work (mainly translation and data annotation). I was even promoted to a higher level, by proofreading and evaluating the work done by other translators. Unlike other users, I received my payments on time, never had any complaints. It is true that some of the projects are not well paid, but if you work hard and improve your performance, you will be invited to participate in lots of projects, being thus able to reject those that are not worth your time.
Suddenly, things started going wrong and my account was first blocked, then banned.
So what happened? How did I shift from being a happy OneForma independent contractor to becoming a frustrated one five years later, to the extent that I ended up asking the "Support" team to delete my account?
On January 15th this year, OneForma decided to implement an MFA verification process.
According to OneForma, the MFA application would:
*prevent unauthorized access
*safeguard your sensitive information from potential security threats.
*ensure your data is protected to the highest degree possible.
They should have added that this application also prevents the authorized user to access their account!!!
That is exactly what happened to me.
Lots of emails were sent to the "Support Team" telling them about the issue. All I received were general messages that took me nowhere. Eventually, I gave up.
Trying to access my account was an impossible task and nobody could do anything about it. In the end, I had to ask them to delete my account (I could not do it myself, since you must be able to access your profile to do so).
The funny thing is that I'm still receiving emails with projects I could work on!!

I have not been paid one cent by this company, despite having done work for them. They kept giving me the excuse that my payment isn't set up properly- It IS set up. Support is silent and useless. I have never encountered this issue with other platforms or company. From reading the countless reviews below, it is clear Oneforma operates under dubious business pretense where they get you to do a bit of low paying work and neglect to pay you over time, hoping you would let things go.
Stay away from this scam of a corporation.

I am extremely frustrated with One Forma. I have a payment of over $300 that I am unable to receive, and there is no support whatsoever. My Payoneer account, which was supposed to be the only available payment method, was closed without explanation, citing a violation of their terms, but they never specified what I allegedly did. At the same time, PayPal has a very low annual limit of $300, which I have already exceeded, leaving me with no available payment method at all. Despite repeated attempts to contact One Forma, no one responds, and my funds remain inaccessible. This is completely unacceptable.
Passed the test but NEVER receive any actual task
They send repeated mails purporting to offer image data collection jobs, amongst others. However, when you try to log in on their site, the message that the password is incorrect comes up again and again, as it does after numerous password updates. So OneForma is just a front for password phishing.

Definitely had a lot of expectations from this app, but yeah, it wasn’t worth the time. My account was pretty new and still got disabled for no reason?
They will send you several emails a day to ask you to join some jobs for them. When you apply they will ghost you or spam your inbox that they need something.
Their expecatation for process are high class for minimal wage.
Their portal got the worst after their update. Login is barely possible and the servers take so long to load.
Worst ever, they don´t reply to any of your inquiries, and don´t even pay for the work you have done. My account was disabled due to "fraudulent activity": "OneForma account has been disabled due to detected fraudulent activity. Additionally, since payments are processed through OneForma and your account is currently disabled, no payments will be processed for the xx project.
This company is is total HOAX!
I would like to file a complaint about OneForma. I have worked for more than 50 hours on their project, but even after more than two months, I still haven’t received any payment. I have sent several complaints to their customer support, but they never replied.
What’s worse, they keep sending you emails almost every day, encouraging you to join more projects with promises of bonuses and extra rewards. Please don’t be fooled by these promises — they never pay for the work you’ve already done.
To anyone considering working with OneForma — be very careful. Although they claim to be a “legit” company, my experience shows otherwise. They don’t pay for completed work, ignore support requests, and keep trying to lure new workers with false promises.
Was so confused when their system said i couldn't apply for a job due to "suspicious activity" on my account, when all i ever did was register as a new member and set up my profile.
I tried to contact support explaining how no rules were violated by me, telling them that this must be a false positive and they could check the history of my location and phone prints on their database but all their help-desk would do was reply once in 4 days with a very vague unrelated answer till they finally ignored me.
Am so relieved now knowing that it wasn't truly my fault afterall based on other people's same complaints.
Thank God i hadn't wasted time to work for them.
Their flawed system probably expects every contributor to have a static IP address.
Lost my time trying to work with them.
Signed up for one forma months ago. Passed many certifications, had some active job applications, even got hired for some projects like domain expert and uber.
Never really got any work. The uber project never really started for me and the domain expert - passed two webinars and didn't receive any follow up after that.
Finally, my account was deactivated for "suspicious activities" I am not aware of.
OneForma has been nothing but hassle and waste of time for me. I would never go back to it and would never recommend it.
Support is non-existent; you better pray you never have an issue with your payment, because they do not EVER reply to emails or move a finger to help you solve them.
I am owed 2 months of work and almost 400 dollars since May. I've tried contacting them multiple times to no avail. Now, my old invoices no longer show up on their new, redesigned website.
Stay away from this website, or at the very least, take only low paying jobs because if there are any problems they will not do anything about it.
