Poor experience with One World Publishing.
A few years ago I wrote a book for Oneworld that still has a small annual royalty income, paid by cheque, but as I no longer use cheques, this year I asked that the funds be sent direct to my bank account. I gave them the bank details and they agreed the new arrangements. The money should have been in my bank about 10 days ago but nothing has arrived yet, despite having been told several times that "all is OK". Also I have received no replies to at least 4 emails asking why there are no funds, including one to the co-founder of the company. I have written several substantial books with major companies such as Wiley and Elsevier and have never had any problems with royalty payments. I have lost patience with this company's unprofessional attitude and would-be authors might want to take note of my experience.

For clarity, the royalties referred to in this review were paid in full. A royalty cheque was issued on 5 August 2024 in accordance with our normal payment arrangements. Following a subsequent request to receive payment by bank transfer instead, we amended the payment method and completed the transfer on 28 August 2024 as part of our monthly payment run.
We regret that the revised payment arrangement did not meet the author's expectations. However, at no point were royalties withheld, refused, or left unpaid.
