ONGERI EXPEDITIONS IS ABSOLUTELY 💯 THE BEST !
SO , I NORMALLY DONT WRITE REVIEWS , BUT I FIGURED I SHOULD TO HELP WHOEVER IS LOOKING TO BOOK THE BEST LUXURY SAFARI OF THEIR LIFE/ LIVES ! SO I DID MY RESEARCH FOR MONTHS AS THIS WAS GONNA BE OUR FIRST SAFARI EVER ..I READ REVIEWS , LOOKED AT YOUTUBE VIDEOS ETC , BUT IT ALL KEPT BRINGING ME BACK TO ONGERI EXPEDITIONS ! SO I GATHERED COURAGE AND MADE A CALL TO THE OWNER , ABNER . FROM THE MOMENT I CALLED HIM , HE WAS ABSOLUTELY RESPONSIVE AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS GIVEN THAT I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE ANY APPOINTMENTS WITH HIM . I WAS SO IMPRESSED AND DIDN'T TAKE ME LONG TO MAKE MY DECISION . SO FAST FOWARD , WE HAD VISA PROBLEMS OF WHICH ABNER TOOK CHARGE AND HELPED THE 3 OF US RIGHT AWAY , LET ME TELL YOU GUYS , FROM THE MOMENT YOU HIRE ONGERI EXPEDITIONS , YOU IMMEDIATELY AND I MEAN IMMEDIATELY HAVE THE PEACE OF MIND ! YOU IMMEDIATELY STEP INTO A LUXURY WORLD OF PEACE AND VVIP , FLYING TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY FOR THE FIRST TIME FOR MANY CAN BE SO INTIMIDATING AND SCARY , BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU ONGERI GOT YOU !!! ..SO WE .. ME, HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER FINALLY LANDED IN NAIROBI KENYA AND WAS IMMEDIATELY WELCOMED BY THE STAFF FROM ONGERI EXPEDITIONS YA'LL . NOT ONE , NOT TWO , BUT 4 OF THEIR STAFF , WE HAD A LUGGAGE MISSING AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT FOR US TO AVOID WAITING ON LINE TO FIGURE IT OUT , ESPECIALLY AFTER FLYING OVER 16 HOURS AND EXHAUSTED ! THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE SUPER EASY . THEN WE HAD SMOOT TRANSITION THROUGH IMMIGRATION WITH THEIR HELP AND INTO THEIR MOST COMFORTABLE , LUXURY SAFARI VEHICLE. WHEN I TELL YOU LUXURY , YOU GOT TO SEE TO BELIEVE ! SO , I WILL TRY NOT TO PUBLISH A BOOK , BUT OUR TRIP WAS SO SMOOTH AND ORGANISED THAT I PROMISED TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCE TO HELP THE NEXT PERSON / PEOPLE

We booked safari at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo through Ongeri Expeditions online.

Fairly positive experience with ongeri expeditions They communicate via email and WhatsApp for customer convenience.
Communication was initially good with Emmanuel however unfortunately as our trip got closer, Emmanuel started to ignore all messages/emails we had re- safari flight confirmation details and copies of accommodation bookings which was stressful. Emmanuel was quick to reply when adding paid things onto our booking but not otherwise, which made me dubious.

Another person from ongeri, Zippy, thankfully replied to another email just sent to the generic email address and sorted our issues, and confirmed transfers/flight details, albeit only a few days before our trip.

Fellow friends we met at the camp had only good reviews for Zippy who organised their whole trip, so think we were just a little unlucky.

Kichwa Tembo camp review:
- The camp & cabins were beautiful, and very clean. Hot water bottles in our beds on an evening was a treat!
- Very attentive and friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble.
- Good variety of food/drinks at meal times.
- Traditional maasai entertainment and sundowners on evenings.
- Our guide Lorna was exceptional, we saw the big five and much, much more. Lorna was very knowledgeable with all of the animals and there was good binoculars for use in the safari cars.
I cannot recommend &Beyonce Kichwa Tembo enough :)

I had the pleasure of booking an African safari with Ongeri Expeditions. The way they organized the tour was fantastic so we didn't have to worry about anything and just enjoy the adventure. I was able to see beautiful animals that I have never seen anywhere else. Our tour guide was also great, very knowledgeable about the area and able to answer all of our questions. If you're looking for the trip of a lifetime, we highly recommend Ongeri Expeditions.
