I recently had the pleasure of working with Soho Fashion Studio and Online Models for my photography and portfolio requirement. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The team made me comfortable and I was well looked after. The professionals of Fashion Studio discussed what looks I was going for. Everyone was extremely friendly and very skilled especially the make up artist and the Photographer. I had an amazing and a fun day. Highly recommend them for anyone seeking top-notch photography and portfolio services.

I enjoyed my time at the studio, the staff were friendly and professional. The photographer was both helpful and agreeable, we went outside as well as inside to take the photographs. I like the shoots,particularly the outside ones.

Initially it was a great conversation, until I delved into research.
Lovely lady, at least I thought so, Ava the "Director" of the company.
She seemed reasonably agreesive, when asking me to book 'special selected spot', for £50.
I had to be quite direct in the end. She backed off and we agreed to speak two days later.
Due to my experience it made sense to research the company.
Not sure if I'd listen to the "positive" reviews, as they seem scripted or people who fell for the pitch.
I decided to recind my slot, asked them to remove my details.
In that time, I had two answering machines message, "I have two slots left, and it would be great to speak to you".
It seems like a huge sales tactic, really old way of sales to be honest.
That sealed my decision.
I asked them, again, to remove my details from their database. I invoked my rights under GDPR, I know they have 30 days. But read the room.

I have just received another email. Same script. I sent them another text, along with an official email.

Then I had a message back 'Chaka', in Philippines this means 'ugly'. I am sure they assumed I didn't know that.

Says more about the agency. I don't care what she called me, I'm just glad I turned it down. I am sure others have heard or experienced more.

Either way. You will be invited in, asked to part with a non refundable £50. Then asked to purchase the pictures taken.
When your details are sent to agencies, you will be required to keep departing with your money.

Be careful, this scam has been going on since the 80's.
Your choice. But I'd go somewhere reputable. Likely I will get a response email, spouting they don't act like this. But I have proof.

From my initial contact with Online Models to the debrief after the shoot I was so impressed with the professionalism of everyone I dealt with, any questions I had were answered quickly and efficiently, nothing was left to chance I knew exactly where to go and when, the information was superb.

The shoot itself was fantastic and the quality of the shots were superb and the ones Samia chose were fantastic.

The Soho fashion studio is a great place for models needing a boost of confidence.
From start to end , the staff were warm yet professional.
I was super impressed by the quality of the stunning photos.
It gives a real boost to my portfolio.
The sets, staging , styling of the production was great, everything we need for a fashion shoot.
The photographer was great at directing me, often encouraging me and giving praise and prompts!
Which is really important for amateur models.
100% would recommend to my model friends.
The admin staff have been kind, respectful.
Reassuring that this wasn’t a scam or fraudulently.
They genuinely do a great job with people

folks -I took a chance and committed myself for the photoshoot , It was great craic with good staff to help me all day. I had clothes chosen , makeup and hair done for each session - it was relaxed and I never felt under pressure. I felt like someone really important getting all that attention but anything it what you make it and I had such a lovely experience, smiled and laughed most of day. However had to brave the cold weather for outside snaps. !!!

PERSON ON PHONE WILL SOUND GENUINE BUT THEY DON'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING YOU ASK THEM, FIRST RED FLAG, FALSE PROMISES & GETTING YOU TO AGREE, 2ND RED FLAG, RUSHING YOU THROUGH TO PAYMENT BIG RED FLAG🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 ALL GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FAKE, PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ TURNED VERY NASTY WHEN CHALLENGED.

Beware - they will do your hair and make up but they won't show you the pics unless you get 'selected' after a long pitch about how much work they will get you they then tell you that you just have to pay for your portfolio and package and they will do the rest by getting you endless jobs. Their success rate being 98%. There are 4 packages the cheapest was around 3675 and the top one was over £2000 for this you will get some of the pictures, a zip card, a website if you go for the higher package. Someone called Gayle will help you every step of the way. Well I paid for one of the packages and got some of the photos which were average. Then I was contacted the next day by an agency they referred me to who wanted £200 for me to join them and then they would get me work. But that was what they had said the package was for. The following day I was referred another agency, who called me and gave me the exact same speech that the guy at the studio had given me and wanted £180 to get me work. Needless to say I have had no work through them - I was told that I wouldnt have to pay for any further agencies when in reality they both wanted to charge me for what I am not sure. Most agencies take a fee from the client and do not charge a deposit/subscription ect. If you want to have a photo shoot go somewhere local or get a friend to take some pics. This was such a waste of time and sadly money.

This was a fabulous experience,,,, on arrival you made me feel so relaxed, then through out the shoot the team was so professional making sure everything was perfect for the camera. The makeup artist and hairdresser took there time to make sure it was perfect again for the look that was required. The camera Lady was so good and again made it fun. Thank you so much xxx this was the best day for me

Wow this was such a treasured experience and Saskia who did my hair and makeup and photographer Francesco were all so brilliant. Aggy and Kane and Kasia all style me to a T. Bring water and lots of clothes and accessories and plan ahead.

I attended the model fashion shoot at soho Studios this week, and it was a spectacular experience. For anyone wanting to begin their modelling career, Soho studios is the place to be! The hair and makeup was great the stylist was professional and they made me look like a Diva. I felt all confident and elated when I left. The photographer Federico was the nicest person I have ever met. In the afternoon it got sooo busy and it felt like a Friday buzz at Soho. The company is great and if anyone looking to start up in modelling then you must meet the team at Soho fashion studios and don't forget to take your best outfits.!!!

Must confess I thought it was a scam! but how wrong was I on thinking that...!!!
Team was very professional, friendly... studio is well located, with fantastic play-list that kept me smiling, knowledgeable creative crew... felt glamorous and well looked after...
cannot thank enough, nor recommend enough!

I found about Online models via social media, soon after I contact them I receive a call and agent who was extreamly frienly explained all the details to me and book me for photoshoot for next week. I am very gratfull how well organise this proces was, specialy for people who have less experiense in this industry. It company is trustfull and on the professionsal level. Thank you to Online Models for this opportunity and for the support in this process.

At the begining last year i took a huge gamble going out side of my comford zone by flying out from northern ireland being a mature model wasnt even in my dreams job to do i also had picturs done and paid £600 punds for the pictures hopping it would quicky pay for its self but nothing happend i was passed on to choice models and had to pay more money and they never get a thing to help me so i was really disapointed i was really looking forward to doing this kind of work

Followed up the Facebook advertisement and it all seemed fine so I decided to proceed. So in Feb I spent an afternoon at Soho Fashion Studios having photos taken in various outfits (my own) and settings. After the photoshoot if they think you will have a chance with agencies they call you into their office give you the all blurb and hard sell to purchase various portfolio packages this takes 1 hour.
I stupidly signed a so call contract and purchased the mid range package for £1,600 (58 photos, website profile, and a Z card template has a photo of you and your bio) Their process following the photoshoot and handing over cash is not provided to you in writing and for a novice it can be confusing plus you get slightly brainwashed. I feel I have been ripped off and they're now telling me the ultimate decision is with the brands, even though they thought I was eligible and took a lot of cash from me!
I have been professional and polite and asked for a part refund with my reasons for doing so. Their responses have been unprofessional and unreasonable and their answer is NO.
Ladies & Gentlemen please seriously consider what cash you hand over and don't fall for the hard sell and brian washing. I feel sick for being so stupid and giving them £1,600 .........they have a lot of good reviews, which I am also questioning the authenticity of, because none mention they have had work and how good online - models is, most only mention their experience at Soho Fashion Studios which online models use. I am now seeking legal advise............... No need to respond to this review, pointless........

This is a complete scam. Immense pressure to pay £50. When I started questioning the legitimacy of the business suddenly I was no longer needed even though I had apparently made it to final selection.
Steer clear and do not fall for it!
