Let's start with the good and why I started using the platform (and why I initially gave it 5 stars).

The platform is intuitive and easy to use. It allows you to set up purchases for individual courses and/or a subscription which gives the student access to the entire site for as long as they are subscribed (you can choose one or the other, or both simultaneously depending on your preferences).

The OCH support team is great and they usually reply to support requests within 12 hours. If your problem is something that the platform covers, they'll help you solve it in no time.

So great basic features, that's exactly what I needed.

So why the harsh rating?

MAIN REASON: PAYMENT ISSUES [minus 2 stars]
Payment issues have been way too numerous. There is one that Vasco has addressed in his current reply.

Aside from it, there have been (rare) cases of people paying with PayPal but not getting access to their course.

But here is the big one: there has been an ongoing problem with students unsubscribing but keeping access to the site.
This problem has persisted for a year or two. I might have dozens of students who have full access to my courses without paying.
The Support team is always nice and assure me they are "actively investigating" the issue.
After two years of this, I just don't believe that's the case, sorry.

So, I'm still using OCH and I'd love to update my review back to 5 stars again. But the the payment issues need be resolved.

I bought Online Course Host a month and a half ago.

I was happy to finally launch my first course, very excited about it.

I have spent all this month and a half in touch with them via e-mail almost everyday.

EVERYDAY during A MONTH AND A HALF

These are the things they have fixed, quite quickly I have to say, which means that they are using us, buyers, to receive feedback to improve their product.

Even if the changes are super basic, they have launched the product without any of those things working.

I had to tell them to fix things like:

-Adding more space between one sentence and the following one.

- Making sure that the text could be centered or justify (it was not possible before I told them, believe me, quite basic, right?).

These is a list of things they have "fixed" during this month:

There was a button or a link under every photo or video that I uploaded to the page, which meant that, if I didn't want the reader to leave the page (in a sales Letter for example) that was not possible to avoid.

I spent two days uploading videos in different ways (two days, from morning to night) and then they fixed it, they removed the link and the button.

Also, the text below the videos could not be separated in different paragraphs, it is fixed now.

The last thing that has happened is that I had to upload all the content of my Sales Letter -and it is long- three times.

THREE TIMES
(around two hours each time because each time I had to add bold letters, different sizes, decide how to separate paragraphs, etc)

The text disappeared and they were not able to recover it for me. It disappeared when they fixed the center and justify features of the text.

Other things that didn't work:

It took me three weeks to link my domain from GoDaddy with Online Course Host.

When they want me to give them information, they ask me to record videos for them. Last time I did it the other way round and asked them to record a video for me with the instructions on how to make a feature work (instead of me explaining to them what didn't work). After all, they can go inside their own platform and check what doesn't work!

They literally have asked me for tones of my time so that they could improve their platform.

Features as simple as:
- text centered
- text justified
- separation between sentences
- links below photos and videos
- possibility to separate paragraphs under the videos
- linking the domain

So, as I say, if you buy their product...

YOU WILL START WORKING FOR THEM FOR FREE

I continue here because I already uploaded my whole course. I don't have any energy left to move it somewhere else.

By the way, after having uploaded my whole course, I had to upload it again because the audios didn't work. They then explained to me that there was one place where the audios only worked if they were downloaded, and another place where they worked without being downloaded. Something that they don't specify either, you have to find it out by yourself after having invested your time.

I have no more energy.

And I am very disheartened.

If you have already bought this product, I am very sorry for you.

And I want to clarify this:
I haven't written a single review up to now, I have waited a month and a half to do it. Few people would be so patient.

So, take into account that I am not just a user that is a bit angry...I am a user that has been exchanging e-mails with them to fix things almost everyday during a month and a half.

So just now, after this review and a month and a half, you have just noticed that I have built a page in an unusual way. This shows how right I am about all I said above.

So I guess you have usual pages where text can be centered and justified and sentences separated and unusual ones where it can not be done. How interesting because you suggested to me to add the center and justify text through CSS instead of letting me know that there was a usual way.
Look, there is only one way: you click “Create” and you choose “page”. There are no more options. Your platform is not so sophisticated. After all this, the minimum you can do, is apologise and be honest here. You did not say any other thing about all the rest, by the way: the audios, etc. I guess I did it the unusual way too. I must be quite stupid, I did everything in an unusual way. Your platform is great, it is just me, doing one mistake after another during a month and a half. In a platform that has just few buttons.

If you admitted what happened would be easier, much easier. For everyone.

Love it!This program helped me organized my online course for my classes.

I didn't spend enough time with it to fully rate it. Maybe next time.

I wish Online Course Host had a more creative aspect to the product. I would like to make my courses more attractive and the system doesn't allow for any themes, decorations or creativity unless I use another app too. Also I want to be able to narrate or be in a video bubble to walk participant through some portions of the course. Zoom and Loom do it so why can't Online Course Host? I shouldn't have to use Canva and Zoom to use your Course platform.

I'm so much impressed about Onlinecoursehost. This is the exactly system I have been looking for, very simple and user friendly, yet doing the best.

Easy to learn, options without being overwhelming. Interface is super clean.

The price is quite accessible.
There is no storage limit for materials of any sort
Client service is prompt.
Cons
Their response is prompt, but it passed a week and they still didn't fixed a broken feature of the platform.
I miss a help in every page.
An mobile app could be useful.

A simple way to implement an online customer experience.

I love how easy it is to use the tool. I have quickly published several courses in a very short period of time. I love the AI suggestions that are available in the tool as well. The Customer Service is absolutely impeccable for this company! It is the icing on the cake!

Online course host . Com they set it up so that you literally cannot do anything much with the free version except use it for 1 month before the trial ends, which costed around $99, they set it up to where you have to pay a monthly subscription to use their service, this was a waste of time and a waste of money, it was false advertising and a BAD product. They are many free or low cost alternatives on the internet to use instead.

Amazing tool for course creators with tons of features and excellent support. Loved the way Ai is integrated at every small step that makes our lives easier and increases efficiency.

Its just such a great place to start your online courses, because EVERYTHING is already there. You don't have to have a thousend programs and apps. Just this one and START. You have drop in Schedule WITH emails, Quizzes, landingpage, you can send bulk emails to your pupils and so much more and the best is; if you hit a problem; they REALLY help you very fast! I LOVE it and I'm so so happy, that I have all my courses on OnlineCourseHost.com!!!

I use OCH now for a month, and I can say, I really love it! I used Kajabi before, but that is really expensive and OCH had everything I needed. When I ask support, they help me really fast and even do custom adjustments for me. Nothing is to much. Customer service is really helpful. I already told all my clients to switch platform and also use OCH. Happy customer here!
