I got information on the property I was…
I got information on the property I was looking for. It was a short wait and included photos although not a lot of details on the actual property itself. I did not like that I got signed up for a $29 month membership right off the bat with little to no information provided that I was starting it. Other than being aware that I need to cancel the membership, I was ok with the info received for the $1.00 report.
Got help right away!
Requested help to see if my tax payment had been made—mailed and hadn’t cleared my bank and was concerned! Mail service isn’t always reliable!
Got an answer back really quick—relieved my min that I wasn’t going to need to track it down!
Thank you—Maxine McCammon
The report was very thorough
The report was very thorough. I received much more information than I expected. There were a few mistakes which I reported and the support desk responded right away to collect the proper information.
Had some difficulty getting the info i needed from the website
Had some difficulty getting the info I needed from the website but the customer service people who did a follow up were spectacular.
I pulled a report on a property search…
I pulled a report on a property search and it was missing one element that I specifically needed. An agent supplied me with that information in less than 12 hours via email. He was amazing. That's why my experience was excellent. Also, the report was totally thorough.
This company does scam people
This company does scam people. It said only $1.00 for a report. Nowhere did it say that I would then be charged another $28.00. Much less per month as one of the other reviews said. I could not find a way to get into my "account" which I did not create. I did do the chat but i've become so cynical after being scammed two months ago that I was afraid to give out any info. Especially since I could not get to a place with my account#. And the chat person would not give me a web address where I could go and see my account and deactivate it. So I had my bank cancel my care. What a shame this world is nowadays.

Quick response needed
In preparation for preparing my Income Tax for 2023 I found I had either lost, misplaced, or other my property tax receipts. This office responded quickly with the info I needed.
BEWARE
BEWARE! They will say it's just a $1.00 charge to get a report, and then a couple days later you will be charged $28.95 for a recurring monthly fee. The online chat helped me very quickly to refund this money and cancel the monthly fee, but it doesn't say it anywhere on the website and you can't find any information when you sign into the website. Very misleading. Just want people to be aware!!! The report was good though and everything checked out.

Fast and efficient service.
I completed the info online and got everything immediately. They sent an inquiry if I received everything I wanted. I explained I needed one more thing and they finished the job! Great service!
Amazingly quick
Amazingly quick, pleasant and efficient!
Absolutely fantastic experience!
I gave them 3*s for this reason
I gave them 3*s for this reason: It's not a scam but they are scammish; meaning, they just refunded me the $1 but if I had not checked with them to find out why there's no setting options in my account, I would have ended up with my card being charged a lot of money starting in April.
The sign up website page is set up to trick the mind into thinking you're paying $1 for the service. Anything too good to be true...you can call or chat so it's not so bad and they refund you but the offer presentation will definitely get a lot of people to sign up for more payments unknowingly. You should use it for the $1 and then CANCEL when you're done before the billing starts and you become the winner of their scammish set up. However, despite all of this, you do get very accurate and good reports instantly. It's just shady on levels. Hope this helps.

This is a scam
This is a scam. Continually tried billing my card after a $1 purchase. Beware!
3/4/24 Now that they have a negative review they want my information to refund my money. I will not give them ANY information as they misused my information in the first place. Are they going to refund me for my time or the fact that I don't have a debit card anymore (due to card fraud on their behalf) as I sit 750 miles from my nearest bank branch waiting for my new card to arrive? DO NOT USE
onlinedatareports.com, unless of course you like begging for money to survive while your on vacation.

I was to be charged only $1.00 to look up a public record. After completing the transaction i noticed on my online bank account they charged me $28. this website is nothing but a scam. Don't fall for it. How is this website still up anyways after ripping countless people off?”

Scam Company
Wow - this company is a TOTAL SCAM. I ordered a public property report (sent to this scammer's website by the State of Idaho's website) that cost $1. The $1 was charged. My CC company flagged it as potential fraud and declined the charge, but said I could re-charge the item and it would go through. I stupidly (in retrospect) paid the $1 charge. Three days later I was charged $9.95 (which my CC company paid) and then a few minutes later another charge of $28.95, which was declined. I was sent both a text and email from my CC company warning of fraud. The card has now been cancelled. NEVER use this website.

Beware! Not as advertised...
I ran the VIN number of a vehicle for $1 on the website dmvrecords.us.org. The report came through as promised, and I was happy with it. I received a confirmation email saying "This charge will show as "ONLINEVINCHECKSCOM" but it didn't list a dollar amount. I was a satisfied customer at this point, and I would have left a positive review. In reviewing my card transactions, the $1 was never charged. However, three days later they charged my card $28.95. My credit card company declined the charge and contacted me about it. While I was on the phone with them, another charge came through for $9.95. I tried to access my account information on the dmvrecords.us.org website while I was on hold; but it was futile as there is no way to do this. So my credit card company issued a new card to avoid future charges. They offer a valuable service that many people could benefit from, but their business practices are not above board.
As an update: I appreciate the standard cookie-cutter reply issued by onlinedatareports.com in response to my review, but it doesn't address the issue. While it does make it seem that someone in the company cares about the customer, I think if that were the case, they would review their website/billing practices and make adjustments moving forward...in addition to the offer to refund the money....which if they actually read my review they would know doesn't apply in this case.
UPDATE: Onlinedatareports.com seems to think my review doesn't apply to them. However, clicking on the link in their confirmation email leads me directly to onlinedatareports.com, even though the email was sent from dmvrecords.us.org. So it absolutely does apply, and is a further testament to their shady practices. They probably have a lot of other websites under their umbrella, too.

Offers a very cheap "CarFax" type reports
This website offers a very cheap way to get CarFax type reports among other public record reports for one month or more. However, you should note that they do not tell you, if pay for one month that you are going to then be paying every month unless you turn off turn the payments and stop your membership. This is often the case, but it was not apparent from their website. I thought I just signed up for A month's worth of repoorts. WHEN I NOTICED THE 2ND MONTH'S PAYMENT on my bank card, I went on line to change it and found the only way I could turn off the charge was to make a CHAT session with their chat person! He was quick to respond and did turn off my account for me. This is not a scam. The site just not executed very well IMO.
SCAM
I found this online and wanted to check if my old car, which I bought used, had any outstanding recalls. I agreed to pay one dollar for the report. A few days later, I saw another charge for nearly $30 from the same company, which I DID NOT sign up for (unless they had some trick I missed). Fortunately, they refunded my money when I complained.
BTW, subsequent to using this "service" to check on my car, I discovered I could get much the same information from NHTSA.gov for free.
