I tried to recover an old Excel file…

I tried to recover an old Excel file from an old USB stick.
The support team responded very quickly, but the work they did DID NOT MEET MY REQUIREMENTS, as they only recovered text and images, even though there were more images in the document, and neither the images nor the missing text were displayed.
I have had a very good experience with Excel online repair. I really like it and recommend using it. It's like a lifesaver. The only thing I don't like is that damaged sectors are not repaired properly.

I recently used this data recovery tool…

I recently used this data recovery tool to restore an Excel workbook from a failing hard drive. The recovery process itself was surprisingly fast—just a few minutes—and the software managed to bring most of the file back, which honestly saved me a lot of manual rework. A few blank sheets popped up after the recovery, but that was easy enough to clean up.

I did run into some issues, though. The recovered file contained only part of the original data—some images and embedded charts were missing, and a few cells showed “ghost” formulas with no visible results. It looks like the tool did a decent job with the text and structure, but struggled a bit with visual elements.

I reached out to their support team, and they got back to me quickly. Communication was polite and helpful, but in the end, the restored version still fell short of what I’d hoped for. On the positive side, it gave me enough base data to rebuild my spreadsheet manually, even though some slides and formatting ended up out of order.

Overall, I’d say this is a useful service for basic data recovery, especially when you just need to extract the core content. However, it might not fully restore complex Excel files with embedded media or charts. Still, it’s better than losing the entire document altogether.

Password Drive

I had a file on my password USB drive corrupt and lost all my recorded passwords. I was given an option to have the file restored for 10 dollars. I paid it and I now have everything back. Love the company. Trustpilot is the company to go to.

Promised a preview of the "repaired"…

Promised a preview of the "repaired" PPT file before charging, did not do so and the resulting "repair" of our PPTX file was a pile of useless graphics that have nothing to do with the original service description. No response from support regarding my inquiry. AVOID.

My Powerpoint presentation could not be recovered and all I got were the photos that had been inside the slides! Eventually I was able to completely restore the presentation with the help of MS Support, so I was charged by this company for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING>

Didn’t work. A waste of money.

Didn’t work. Needed to recover the pptx file, only recovered some images that had been pasted in the original pptx - only about half of them, and more importantly no text/slides recovered at all. Useless. A waste of money.

After the payment

After the payment , the recovery file is same as the demo file. It does not repair any data more. Do not pay any money on this website.

Had a Word file we couldn't open anymore. The tool was able to repair it in a few seconds and provide a preview of the repaired document (all pages). Costed 10$ to download, but worth every cent as it recovered weeks of work. Thank you, Onelinefile.repair - you did what you promissed.

What a bunch of garbage

After paying 10 lousy dollars, I was able to extract my "uncorrupted" file. It was just a bunch of letters piled on top of each other. What am I supposed to do with that???
