This platform has changed me a lot. It does not only allow me to land jobs but also it teaches me life lessons that I would carry throughout my journey.

Not For My Business.
Unfortunately, the risk:reward ratio of getting work done through Onlinejobs.ph does not look attractive and I won't be using their services. There are far more competitive ways to get basic work done and there are more secure ways to get critical work done.

UPDATE
Since writing my honest review, I have received two semi-literate and snarky emails from X at Onlinejobs.ph:
"Thanks. I appreciate it.
Crazy…that review is fiverr paying someone to write a negative review of us because we’re taking so much business away from them. We’re seeing it more and more. The review is totally fake."
And:
"Oh, I see this review was from you. Well, at least your review looks fake and like the other fake reviews we get.
Go use fiverr."
For the record, I also looked at Fiverr but didn't find the quality and reliability I needed. I use word of mouth and personal contacts to find the skilled people I need. In any case, with such an arrogant attitude from X at Onlinejobs.ph, you know upfront what sort of trouble you will encounter when inevitable problems arise.
I repeat: Onlinejobs.ph is DEFINITELY NOT for me or anyone in my network. I have passed the emails on to everyone I know.

RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM ONLINEJOBS.PH
It is interesting to read Onlinejobs.ph's change in tone, now that the words are out in the open. Their potential clients will make up their own minds.
I stand by my original summary, that Onlinejobs.ph is WAY too expensive for small jobs and yet nowhere near as secure as is needed for big jobs. The thought of handing over confidential code or information for a job fills me with horror - especially with the sort of attitude I got from the company when they thought it was off the record. We all know that things inevitably go wrong - and I have absolutely no confidence it would be dealt with in the professional way that would be expected in the developed world.
My suggestion... find an appropriate Facebook group and begin making contacts and sending out small jobs until you can build up trust in your contractees. If/when you get to the stage of wanting to put together a larger team or an extended project, then get on a plane and meet with a lawyer. These middlemen sites and apps only really deal with the leftovers. The top people get snapped up in the way I mentioned above - and do not return to the casual pool. There is plenty of talent in the Philippines, but this is not the way to tap into it.

Best Platform for Filipino Hires!
I've been using this platform for more than 4 years and hired at least 12 people over there. Most Filipinos are motivated and dedicated. Very high loyalty from them as well. Reciprocity is the key to hiring overseas.
5 stars, recommend everyone.
Thank John and Dan for the awesome platform.
transactions are smooth and hassle free.
They don't work as good as they say
The website is great for finding "potential" candidates for mainly digital marketing or web design services, but in reality these people don't work as good as they say on their CV, and many times they will find excuses such as "I needed to rest", and sometimes they even seem like they don't know what they are doing.
I've spent nearly $1000 for a web design service (2 months of service), but the guy did pretty much nothing, and I ended up doing most of the work myself in order to get a decent looking website, despite the guy saying he was a "developer" (he even told he's much better than a designer, but here we go).
My advice here is to look for quality for services such as SEO, digital marketing, web designing and all similar services, because you will waste a lot of time here, as well as money.

Their verification process is…
Their verification process is time-consuming, confusing, and lacks personalization. Additionally, their agents are unhelpful. They keep sending the same email without explaining what was wrong, and they do not review their platform for problems.
