From the start of booking we were kept well informed on our detailed itinerary by Carol and Joanne. This was an excellent, luxurious safari in the Greater Kruger National Park, at three different reserves. I was lucky to see all the big five, plus so much more. Carol and Will met us at Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport and from there on we were really looked after, they are so passionate about the area and its wildlife.

All the lodges were incredibly luxurious and the food was exceptional. Personally I am a piscatarian and my dietary requirements were met perfectly. The rooms were amazing! All the guides were really informative and were happy to go the extra mile. I spent a lot of the game drives sketching, the guides in every reserve completely accommodated for this.

Thank you to OTS, their team and all involved for a very memorable trip. I will definitely be arranging another one with you and wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to anyone else...

We were worried about booking another SA safari as we thought the first in 2015 (also with OTS) could not be bettered. How wrong were we! This was an amazing experience in part because we were more relaxed and did not expect to see everything. However, we saw leopards, male lions, two prides of lions - one of nineteen, lots of elephants and giraffes, hippos and rhinos, one of which we tracked. We also saw lots of birds, eagles and raptors. All the guides, Will and Carol were fun and very informative, the lodges (Rukiya, Walkers & Nzumba) were all beautiful, the food scrumptious. We particularly enjoyed the tracking of an unexpected Rhino with the guides at Rukiya. This is our third with OTS and would definetely recommend them and book another safari with them ourselves.

We enjoyed another excellent Safari in South Africa.
The booking and organisation was seamless with great communication and clarity and the collections and transfers worked perfectly. The 3 camps were varied but all were very comfortable, the food superb and the guiding and hosts extremely welcoming. We saw plenty of animals, normally without other vehicles to spoil the experience and came home with many happy memories. We have travelled with OTS on many occasions and are already looking forward to our trip to India with them in 2024.

This was an awesome experience and saw all we wanted to see and more. Accommodation and food super and the hosts, trackers and guides were great at all the reserves and went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. Would certainly recommend On Track Safaris for making this possible.

From the very beginning, this trip was organized and carried out perfectly by On Track Safaris (OTS), starting from the recommendations about the schedule, following by a lovingly designed e-Itinerary until the welcome back check, everything went well and hassle-free, including multiple transfers, connecting flights and an individual trip design. Immediate reply and help with all kinds of questions, the selection of 2 amazing camps/lodges, I always felt in good hands.
Outstanding hospitality and service everywhere; warm, caring up into the smallest detail, anticipating one’s personal needs and preferences, always very caring and tactful. Guides and trackers with high level of knowledge about everything out in the bush, with excellent spotting skills, passionate and carefully towards nature and wildlife. And with great sense of humor. Each game drive was a unique and wonderful experience. Food was excellent as well in both lodges and the initially enquired dietary requirements were considered as well as double checked by the lodge management.
The beautiful settings of both lodges, their ecofriendly management, and the INGWE Leopard Research project which supports the leopard conservation, developed by the two OTS founders Will and Carol, were important points for me to choose OTS. Now, being back from an unforgettable trip, I wholeheartedly recommend OTS.

We had a fantastic safari, great lodges, great animal sightings, knowledgeable guides, great food and is was important to us that we were helping to raise money for leopard research. Carol and Will were very approachable with all our questions - we would certainly travel with On Track Safaris again.

On Track Safaris (OTS) have been absolutely superb from beginning to end. Our flights got severely delayed so we missed out connections from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. BA's best offer was to fly us two days later so we would have been stranded in Joburg! OTS had organised an alternative road transport by the time we landed in Johannesburg so all the stress of the delay just melted away. Our driver was waiting for us and we were off! 5.5 hours later we were in our first lodge and getting ready for our first game drive!

We stayed at three different safari lodges which were all superb. I have very difficult dietary requirements (no gluten, no dairy, no meat, no garlic or onion) due to an illness and each of the lodges (in the middle of the bush) was able to produce delicious, nutritious meals without a single issue (more than I can say of expensive London restaurants!). In fact some of the meals were very creative and well thought through. We were all extremely well looked after with a very keen focus on every detail of our stay.

The main reason for going was to go on Safari and see the animals - and we did. Each lodge and reserve had slightly different ecosystems supporting a different mix of animals. We saw an abundance of animals in each area, surprisingly many actually. Our guides and trackers were very passionate, professional and knowledgable so we learned a lot along the way.

I can wholeheartedly recommend OTS to anyone considering booking with them. Thank you OTS!

What an amazing company this is. From the very start Joanne & Carol were there to put the 3 lodge South African safari together. Throughout the booking they kept us updated, gave travel advice, answered questions (of which there were many) promptly, even set a WhatsApp group up in case of problems while away, of which there were none. The safari was fabulous, we saw so many animals and a lot closer than I had imagined, the rangers at Rukiya were outstanding, a great introduction to our first safari. At Nzumba you can watch the wildlife at the waterhole from the pool or lounger, amazing, loved watching my favourite, the elephants, didn’t want to leave. The food at all the lodges was both delicious and plentiful and my daughters pre advised allergies were catered for beyond our expectations. I would recommend this company, not just for the actual trip but for the fact they are there for you from day one and throughout your booking until your return. Thank you On Track.

This is our first trip with On Track Safaris and hopefully not our last. We went on an 16 day safari and whale watching holiday.
From beginning to end the communication was first class with all our questions answered straightaway. Any addition we wanted to add was never a problem- we wanted to visit Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre- and OTS worked out the best itinerary for us.The transfers between lodges went very smoothly and we always knew who would be picking us up as OTS provided us with a photograph of the drivers. The holiday itself went beyond our expectations. The 3 lodges we visited were in beautiful settings and well managed and ecologically friendly. We loved the game drives, all of which were very different and the drivers and trackers were extremely knowledgeable. We always felt safe.We would not hesitate to recommend this company, especially as we joined up with two other ladies who had booked holidays previously with OTS and also recommended them.

Took my 2nd trip with On Track Safaris in August 2023 to the Greater Kruger area. As with the first one, everything went well, from my initial contact with them until the end of my 12 night trip. This included airport pick up and transfers between four lodges and back to the airport. You'll need to check to see if you'll be the only one being transferred or if there will be additional stops on the way to your lodge. All the lodges and reserves they selected for me were perfect, just different enough to make for a fascinating tour of the area. I saw all the animals and birds I came to see. Such a treat to have everything taken care of by someone else - a real vacation! Don't hesitate to book with On Track - they know what they're doing!

Just back from yet another excellent trip booked with On Track. We have been with them numerous times to South Africa, also to Botswana and to Madagascar - and we are booked to go to Sri Lanka with them next year. This time we visited three lodges - all were excellent and we had numerous sightings at each one. Lots of leopards were around!! The Guides and Trackers were knowledgable, professional and also very keen to ensure that everyone enjoyed each game drive. Hospitality everywhere was second to none - and we were welcomed back as old friends at the two lodges that we had previously visited (Rukiya and NZumba). Carol and Joanne provide excellent support during booking and thereafter, and nothing is too much trouble. I am not sure that there is any company out there to better OTS, they are simply outstanding 😀

Our holiday company On Track safari were exceptional in organising an amazing and unforgettable holiday for us, which exceeded all our expectations. More importantly the company supports wildlife conservation and sustainability.

Just returned from South Africa after a nine day safari organised by On Track Safari's. We stayed at three different lodges on three different game reserves.. The standard of all the accommodations and the food was excellent. The staff, rangers, guides, trackers were friendly and helpful. The guides and trackers were so knowledgeable. They invited questions about all animals, birds, trees etc. We had super views of lots of animals and birds. Saw the "big five" and tons more besides. Lots of great photos taken and fantastic memories made. This was our first trip to South Africa. It won't be our last.

We absolutely loved this experience and would gladly go back tomorrow! OTS staff looked after us from start to finish, the wildlife experiences were beyond our expectations, the hospitality and the wonderful passionate people made it very special.

Ontrack took the trouble out of the complex process of booking a safari that contained multiple lodges and transfers. Everything was organized for us, once we chose our lodges it was done. There are many tour operators and lodges out there and it can get overwhelming, so it was nice to have an operator that was not pushy.

They reached out several times before departure to make sure we were prepared and to confirm all details. They were at the airport in Kruger waiting for us.

A very special experience. This was our first Safari and OTS organised 4 different lodges in 4 different game reserves, all very different experiences, across 11 days, completing it with 3 days at Victoria Falls. The different types of lodges from glamming style to spa hotel gave a real breadth of experience. The four different reserves gave us different landscapes to experience the fauna and flora of the wider Kruger National Park. We saw the “big 5” in the first few days, but it wasn’t just about that, it was seeing all the animals in different contexts, the range and beauty of the birds was an unexpected pleasure, learning about the history and rationale for the parks and the people we met, fellow guests, guides, lodge staff that made it a really special holiday. Carol and Joanne at OTS were always available helping us plan and deal with issues on the ground, the local staff seamlessly getting us from one location to another. All around a great service. We will definitely be going back and using OTS to give us the best experience.

Extremely well organised. Every question I had - no matter how daft - was answered in full very quickly. The operators of the safari bases that I visited were also full of praise for On Track Safaris. They must be doing something right. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent choice of lodging and careful coordination of logistics. The game drives at all three properties were fabulous. Very pleasant and helpful staff at all locations.

Just back from 1 wk Greater Kruger S.A. safari with On Track Safari “OTS”. Booked following meeting Carol at holiday show. Received immediate email follow-up and once decided on dates, accommodation was booked. Joanne from OTS kept us fully informed & patiently answered all my queries as a first-time safari traveller, updating our online itinerary. Payment was smooth and guarantees emailed.

We were met by Nik & Rhulani from OTS at Hoedspruit airport who transferred us during our stay. Delightful, helpful & even stopped for game photos.

Accommodation at Rukiya tented camp very low impact on environment with excellent guides Connaught & Hayden very knowledgable.

Transferred on to Waterbuck Lodge, Thornybush another great find with helpful and friendly staff. OTS also sorted all our game drives, reserve fees, transfers, meals & took the hassle out of travel.

We had contact tel. No.s. For OTS in S.A and U.K for any emergencies but all went smoothly.

Safari was all that was promised & more, checking off all the big 5 and lots more, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend OTS and can’t wait for another adventure.
