This website reflects badly on our business

We had a client arrive for an "appointment" that she had made through OOOT.com. The client was confused, as was our receptionist who had no record of it. Not good and, of course, it reflects badly on our business. I've emailed and called Clinic Software and OOOT.com, along with messaging through their websites but, as yet, our salon details have not been deleted from this useless, scammy website.

Scammy company taking over book buttons

Scammy company that will take over your book button on Google My Business Profiles (in our case as OOOT.com) but will go on step further and actually book people in without having an actual appointment! Imagine the disappoint and arguments from a business point of view. Blows my mind that: a)Google allowed this to happen and gave them access b)they don't care about the companies they're actually trying to sell to. Huge headache for the businesses affected. You need to contact Clinic Software and ask for immediate removal and cease & desist, do also check if they've booked any clients in although we're still trying to get that information. If you put this issue in a search engine you'll find some websites have provided a solution. You should also contact Google directly to report this company.

Took over my 'Book Online' on my google…

Took over my 'Book Online' on my google my business page. clients booked there and completely bypassed my booking system and we received a message that an appointment was booked for a time outside of our hours. We reached out to this client to let them know that they hadn't actually booked with our business but through this scam website and they were nasty about it and also left us a 1 star review. Absolutely unbelievable that GOOGLE would let this happen.

Dishonest business practices

OOOT added online booking to our Google My Business page without authorization. Found a client on my doorstep this morning, waiting for an appointment I didn't book with her at a time that I wasn't available, outside of my business hours.

No wonder the numbers they post about how many businesses use their booking app are growing - when it gets added without permission! Dishonest and potentially damaging to their "clients" reputations.

Irritating and deceptive

This company somehow managed to bamboozle Google. If you look up a service-based business on Google, there will be a button to Book Online. If you click it, it will take you to ooot.com, and the client will think they've booked a service with the business, when the business has no affiliation with ooot at all! There is no way to contact a human at ooot to get disconnected. The only option is to fill out a form. How did this company manage to hijack the online booking button in the first place??

UNAUTHORISED CLAIM ON GOOGLE

We are appalled by the actions of ooot.com and Clinic Software. Without any consent or knowledge from the rightful owner, the Romanian owner of this company Alexandru Stefan have claimed the "Book Now" button on Google Business. This has led our valued customers to unknowingly share their personal data with them and we are very concerned about the reason for this by Clinic Software and fear for data abuse. The fact that there is no way to contact either company for resolution makes it even worse. If this is how they conduct business, I want nothing to do with them and would advise others to steer clear. Unethical and deceitful practices like these have no place in the industry.

Is this a scam?

I logged into a Glasgow taxi company yesterday (28 October 2024) to book a fare online and unbeknownst to me, ended up with an appointment for a visit with OOOT.com at the taxi's address! Their cancellation policy says to sign into 'my account' but I do not want to give this rogue company any more personal information. I have emailed both OOOT.com and Clinicssoftware.com but don't suppose I'll get a reply. Surely Google have a responsibility to get rid of these companies which are targeting businesses. I am worried I will be charged for non-existent treatment if I can't cancel this appointment.

Scam

Scam: They completely took over the bookings on our GMB listing without any authorisation. We are still unable to change them.

Clients are booking putting their details through to an unauthorised provider on Google. it's clear that this company should not be affiliated with Google whatsoever

Absolute shysters

Absolute shysters. They hijack company links on the google my business page and cause huge reputational issues for the companies and leave very dissapointed customers.

Very dishonest business practices, they and their parent company ClinicSoftware.com are a scourge to the whole market.
