Harassment phone calls

Harassment from repeated unsolicited phone calls. I spoke to a young woman and after saying I wasn't interested, I said goodbye and she just hung up on me abruptly. They want to say hello but not good bye... To their commissions. It's completely put me off enrolling in any of their courses. Also there are so many 5 star reviews for OU on 'Product Review', they have to be fake.

Be wary of promises and don't expect help if you have issues with a university

I signed up to an IT degree at RMIT via OUA. RMIT advertised that I had 10 years to complete the degree online partime and that at least 8 subjects had to be from RMIT, the rest could be from other institutions. I have completed 10 units out of 24 and none of these advertised details has turned out to be true. RMIT would only let me finish 4 units at another university and they have now cancelled the degree, so if you don't study fulltime and finish without any breaks they will cancel your enrolment. OUA washed their hands of the issue, told me to speak to RMIT and literally wished me all the best. The only option suggested was that I had to apply to other universities and try my luck getting credit for the 10 units I have completed. Neither OUA nor RMIT were willing to help me with that process. OUA have now stopped responding to me via their complaints process even though I have been nothing but professional and asking for a collaborative solution to the issue.

Misled about flexible study options and got kicked out of my degree

I enrolled in a bachelor degree on the promise that I could start and stop my studies as I pleased to fit around my other responsibilities. Then COVID happened and I haven't studied in a while.. I lost my home, my business, my car and, for a while, my mental health. Now I'm ready to continue my studies and I discover that I have been kicked out of my course. They say I am absent without leave (AWOL). I had no idea I needed to apply for leave! I was led to believe that I could freely choose when and how much to study. I was led to believe that I had at least 10 years to complete the degree. I have made a complaint, lets see what happens. For now, 1 Star.
